Can You Actually Get Famous From Posting Videos On Youtube? Singing Videos I Guess. Like If Some Company Finds You And Likes You Or Something. Has That Every Happened Before?
uisforukelele answered Thursday August 7 2008, 7:22 pm: It's happened but it's one of the most unlikely things ever. You know the girl that did a cover of "Umbrella" and it was really popular? Youtube played a big part in that. If you want to make a career out of singing, it definitely can't hurt though. Sometimes before I go see concerts I look the bands up on Youtube to see if I like them. So if you want people to see you singing and give you critique, Youtube is a good place for it. If you've ever heard of FronkNDego, Smosh, and Fred, you would know that YouTube made them very famous. I'm sure there are plenty more, but the point is that if you have something original that you're doing, you could become "famous".

It could happen, but you would have to be making videos about something amazing, haha.
