flexibility!

so i don't play any sports, havent in about 5 years. use to be in about four sports including gymnastics. i miss being flexible so much! i miss being able to do the splits. i was just wondering how i could become flexible again? like what are some stretches i could do that might let me able do the splits again. its hard for me because i dont push myself. when i was in gymnastic i had an instructor who would make me stay in a position for so long and they would push me to go farther and farther and now i have to put that on myself and i just stop right away. well i was just hoping someone could tell me how to become more flexible, positions, anything! thanks.

I have a powerlifting competition in less than 8 weeks and need to get down from about 260 to 242, it's alot but i really need to get down without suffering alot of muscle loss

I have moved to a new place less then a year ago. I'm a student in high school. I hate it, because I can't make any close friends here, or friends that I can hang out with. I am pretty shy, and its hard for me to connect with other people.
How can I change this? What should I do?

so ive been talking to this kid lately and we recently started hooking up. ive only kissed one other guy and he basically ate my face. so i never really knew how to actually makeout. this new guy is so experience compared to me and he just texted me saying that im not a bad kissser..but not good. i need advice on how to do it the next time i see him so i can prove him wrong. ahh im so embarassed!

I got highlights in my hair about three months ago. Now, I want my hair all one color and am opting for a medium brown color. Would my highlights turn a funky orange colors or something if I put box dye over them to make my hair a uniform color? Thanks!

i am torn and have a really big decision to make. i am a sophomore in college.. a college which is 4 hours from my home. its hard being away from home because i love my family..and have an amazing job which i love, and gives me so much experience for my future career. i cannot decide whether i should stay at my current school, or transfer back home and go to the school near my house. they are equal in tuition, going to the school at home would mean i have a job, dont have to pay for housing or food, only tuition. staying at school out here will mean i may have a job (still looking for one), so much freedom (living in a house with my best friends) and i know this is the only time in my life that i will be able to party whenever i want and li...

This is gonna be long...I'm just looking for opinions here, this is obviously something I need to figure out for myself. But, I need some outsiders to look at this situation for me. I'm too stuck in the middle to step out. I'm 21, and a girl.

iPod video

I got an iPod video in December 2007 and it always worked perfectly for a year. Then a few weeks ago when I plugged it into my computer after about 2 months of not updating it a box came up that said 'scan and fix?' and there was 2 options: scan and fix (recommended) or don't scan and fix. This box used to pop up all the time but i would just click don't scan and fix and it would go away, my iPod would appear on the side and sync my music like normal. For some reason, that day when the box came up and i clicked no, the iPod would not come up and it didn't come up in the side column. This had happened before and all i had to do was unplug and replug the iPod a few times, so I did that, and nothing changed, so i took it out and gave up. The n...

My homelife pretty much sucks

My parents and I are constantly fighting. There saying now they are going to kick me out (I am 18 so they can). Right now there saying I'm just going to go stay a couple of days with my sister until things calm down. The issue is, I'm worried about my school work. My parents are telling me that they don't care. What do I tell the teachers if they ask why I was gone? Plus I have this huge project due and the teacher has already extended the deadline for me because I was out sick last week. I really don't know what to do... Please help?

my insurance is a plan that means my whole family is on it my brother and mother including me.since my father is dead we dont have to pay for insurance .i was wondering if you go to the gynocologist will they sent any letters saying so because my mom is very small minded going to the gyno in her head will authomatically means your having sex.i want to get vaccinated for hpv and get on the pill but i do not want my mom to know about all this.
my second question is does your insurance pay for the birth control pills too.

hii well I haven't had my period in about 2 months =\... and my friend who is pregnant (Marlene) and told my friend katie who told me that when she got her period and it ended it about 2 days later something like that, she ended up being pregnant afterwards.. which is weird. and she said that its like you get your period for the last time.. is this true, because I'm pretty scared, and when my friend marlene was pregnant she didn't puke or anything.. and that's how I'm feeling.. I feel dizzy at points and have huge stomach pains.. (boob pains)... but idk if thats normal or maybe I'm getting it soon... idk please help! what do yout think? is this fact true?!?

Well i am sorta talking to this guy. He supposedly like me a whole lot so i am getting to know him better to see if i like him and see if we would ever date. He texts me everyday and we talk a lot. Today is the first day he hasn't texted me or called. We never had a fight or anything, so i don't know what's up. We said goodnight last night and the said he would talk to me today. He ususally texts me in the morning but today he didn't. Now i am wondering why he hasn't texted me. Any suggestions or reasons why?? thanks!
