I'm beginning the college search process, and I would love to hear some suggestions of schools to check out! Here's some personal info:
GPA: 3.8
SATs: 2200
Am taking many AP courses, fluent in another language and a dual citizen, interested in foreign languages and linguistics, and history and philosophy. The school must have a good music program.

chemically straightening, and dying hair...

my hair is curly and i want to get it chemically straightened. but i also would like to lighten it a bit. my hair is dyed dark brown right now, but my natural color is more of a golden brown. i want to get that color back. my question is which one should i do first? Chemically straighten it, or lighten it up? and can i do them both without completely killing my hair...? all answers are appriciated. thanks in advance. please help!

How do I get started on my modeling dream?

I'm 13 years old and my main dream is to become a model. I've tried all the modeling websites on how to get started and all asked me for my credit card number.. Nothing seems to be working out at all and I want to get a good head start before I get to old. What do I do now??

cracker barrel hired me to work for them so i plan to start training soon =] has anyone here ever worked there as a server? if you have, can you tell me about it? any goofy rules they have or anything like that, was it good money, nice management or uptight, did you enjoy it, good hours, things like that. i know i can talk to the manager about these things, but it's always better to hear first hand. i have just over two years of experience as a waitress, so i'm not really worried about that.

right so i finnaly broke it off with my asshole "freind" (im 17 and a guy) he annoys me so much i hate HATE HATE!!!! him... he never took no for an answer i was allways wrong, even when i proved him wrong he started calling me shit. he's still trying to argue with me even though i told him to bite the big one.
apparently "im one in a million, his best friend" the bull shit sick list goes on and on... how do i tell him to leave me the f*** alone and then make him actually do it. he's like a super strength magnet that wont piss off when you want him to god damn he makes me mad

missing dvd/cd drive?

I have A Toshiba Laptop with windows in it. I was installing stuff (music and other programs - i just restored it and was putting everything back in) but the way the computer is when you put a disc in a window pops up for what you want to with the cd and if you go under my computer there is usually two files C drive and one for the cd/dvd drive. I uninstalled the free trial of microsoft office 2007 and i restarted the computer to install the full version and i went to install it and the window didnt pop up and the cd would not load so i went into my computer and the cd/dvd drive isnt listed there and i put a music cd in and nothing happened either and i went into wmp to see if the cd would play and i went to now playing and it wouldnt so it...

how can you tell someone you want to be sexual with them if you dont know 100% they feel the same? i dont want to make a fool of myself but everytime we hangout it's so intense, we flirt like crazy but he gives mixed signals. i know we're both attracted to each other but we've also been good friends for awhile now too so its hard to tell. how can i let him know i really want him, and to please him haha okay that sounded kinda stupid but you know what i mean. i need some suggestions when i'm with him and when texting without completely saying like i want to have sex with you or something as of that because if he didnt feel the same i would feel extremely dumb. but this has been going on long enough, he turns me on everytime i see him!!!

Camera bag

Can you help me find a camera bag for my dslr & two lenses?
I can't seem to find one I really like and is affordable. Less than $100.
I'm looking for:
Dark colors,
Plain looking,
Something not too big,
just enough space for the
items mentioned above.
I kinda like the Crumpler 5 Million Dollar Home Shoulder Bag. But I really would prefer a zipper instead of velcro & clip closures. And I need a more comfortable strap for the shoulder.
Is there any like that?

My boyfriend and i have been together for 4years and have been haveing sex since July 08,(hes my first) And have been haveing sex with no protection sice Novermber or December 08. He just pulls out. We have a great relation ship. And wouldnt mind having a baby if it comes to us but i dont think its the time. Anyways I thought the pull out method didnt work! is he just really really good at it or is there something wrong with one of us. or are we just not doing it enough. We usally do it once or twice a week.

I had a dream last night that i was in the back of a car with my boyfriend of 2 yrs. (so far) & in the dream we were married or atleast engaged...bbecause i saw a ring on my finger. except we were older and i was in the back seat because our little baby was beside me in his carseat i was playing with him and making him giggle and we were on the way to the hospital to have my next baby checked out (i'd say i was about 5 months in.)
thats all i remember from the dream...im just really curious to what it means.

dieting in college

hi, everyone. i'm 5'6" and 141 pounds. i'm currently in college and my eating habits have gotten terrible! now, we all know that dieting in school is nearly impossible. but are there any ways that i could maybe cut down my eating habits and what fitness i should do at the gym to lose weight? i literally gained the "freshman 15" here and i'd love to lose it. also, i would like to lose weight before the summer if possible. Blake (15,Sophomore) Umm.. ok here's the story if you saw my post about needing help about needing help with my gf this is attached to it. Ok we're planning on meeting up for college and I am over weight and when i see her for college I want to make her feel special. So I am going to work out and make myself worthy of her more then personality wise at the moment I am 5'9" 248lbs By the time I am 17-18 I should be around 5'11" to 6'0" I have used many things to calculate what I should weigh when I am 5'11" or 6'0" and it is around 170-190lbs
So I am going to do the following to get there Walk on a treadmill 5+ miles a day at least 5 days a week(When football season is not in) cut out as much junk food ...
