cracker barrel hired me to work for them so i plan to start training soon =] has anyone here ever worked there as a server? if you have, can you tell me about it? any goofy rules they have or anything like that, was it good money, nice management or uptight, did you enjoy it, good hours, things like that. i know i can talk to the manager about these things, but it's always better to hear first hand. i have just over two years of experience as a waitress, so i'm not really worried about that.

i work at cracker barrel right now as a server & it was my first serving job so i can't really compare it to other restaurants. I know that management and money can really fluxuate depending on where you live. Most of the managers I have are really demeaning and I don't like them much, but honestly to me it doesn't really matter because I absolutely love the other servers and other people who work there. Money is good for us. Luckily there's only 2 Cracker Barrel's in the town I live in, and most of the people who come in are either families or older couples. Tips can definitely vary, but I never leave without 50 dollars a day on a 7 hour shift, which is OK for me! [ amygwen's advice column | Ask amygwen A Question ]
