colleges

Question Posted Monday March 23 2009, 5:05 pm

I'm beginning the college search process, and I would love to hear some suggestions of schools to check out! Here's some personal info:

GPA: 3.8
SATs: 2200
Am taking many AP courses, fluent in another language and a dual citizen, interested in foreign languages and linguistics, and history and philosophy. The school must have a good music program.

Thanks for the help!

I may sound biased, but Sarah Lawrence College is my alma mater, and they have excellent programs in linguistics, foreign languages, history, philosophy and music. It's an expensive school, but they give out all sorts of financial aid. My time there was incredibly rewarding. You'd probably fit right in.

My only advice to you is this...when you narrow your choices down and you are actually visiting them, pick a few kids randomnly and ask them what they think about the school. Don't go to any of them unless the words "this place is awesome" come out of their mouth. There are so many colleges that offer awesome experiences that have what you want...just make sure you find one.
