Building hand strength

I'm a sixteen year old female guitarist. I enjoy playing acoustic guitar most. I play a lot, but my bar chords don't really ring and have a lot of dead strings, especially in the first few frets. I think this is because I don't have a lot of hand strength. Are there any exercises suited to small hands that will both help me with finger strength and not give me any more calluses and "man-hands" than I have?

i have a very close friend who is sometimes physically abused by her mother. i, outside her nuclear family, am the only person who knows. her mother scratches at her skin and hits her, only on fridays so the marks will be gone by monday. she also yells at her far more than normal in front of me even and criticizes everything she does anywhere. my friend also is severly subservient as a consequence and apologizes for trivial things very frequently, among other things. i think these are signs of mental abuse, from being so traumatized. i would do something about it as soon as i found out, except that i think, and i know my friend thinks, it would cause more problems for her in the long run. we'll be off to college in one moe year. she also ha...

thing's to do with my hair.

-dark dark black hair.
-i'm growing it out to be long. kinda below my chest..
i have naturally wavy hair..it's flat at the top..then poof's out at the bottom..and it's wavy and frizzy. it's a little past my shoulders. and i straighten it. i have bangs..side swept. and i'm REALLY tired of the SAME THING over and over..it make's me kinda bored just having the same style day after day..my hair is silky. and so when i poof it..it dosent look all that good..and it dosent look very good up in a pony tail. because of my hair length i cant ever really find a good way to curl it.
any sugjestion's of what i can do??

Should I be myself?

Next year, my younger sister will be joining me at high school. I am female, sixteen, from a religious family, and in the middle of the American South. The problem with my sister joining me at school is that I am an out bisexual everywhere except my home. I have a darling girlfriend at present who, though she does not attend the same school as me, is a frequent topic of conversation amongst me and my friends. My main concern is that my family and public life will mix. My mother is very religious and, though she has walked in on me with a woman (it was awkward), she has chosen to ignore it and try to set me up with her friends' sons. My father is unaware of this. What would be the best way to prevent my family finding out about who I really am?

i just bought condoms which is the "new trojan her pleasure ecstasy". i wanted to see how big the condom really was, but it looked pretty big to me. it doesn't say it has a specific size on it, but just wondering, are trojan condoms supposed to look big?

Today, I heard her talking to my dad about driving somewhere and leaving me there. I really don't like her. And she got my sister to go on her side, has my dad like a puppet, and is working on my brother. My brother is like my best friend, and she is trying SO hard to get him on her side, but he is on my side. He thinks shes over-reacting as well. Well, yesterday we got into a fight, and I said I wouldn't talk to her, and she say Fine, it's like a blessing on me. So I said, You know what, for once your wish is my command. i'm 15 and female. i'm from south africa. i kissed my boy friend and a few days later i got a cold sore. i think i now have the herpe virus. i really cant stop thinking about it.
now i really want to know, should i be worried?
will i get sores around my virgina?
is the any way of preventing that from happening?

I'm 13 years old, am 5 feet 2 in and weigh 140 lbs. i have a 28.5 waist line... i used to have 30.2 waistline. i excercise every day...it's been like 2 or 3 months since i have. i do 130 crunches and 50 pushups every day. my weight used to be 133 and i had a 30 in waistline. now i have a 28.5 waistline and weigh 140 lbs? i dont understand... my father says that it's just the muscles forming my body to look slimmer but become heavier from all the so called muscle i have. it isnt really clear to me... can u explain to me what's goin on with my body?

I'm able to orgasm by myself...but I can't with another guy. I've never been able to with somebody else.
Even the guy I've been with for two years, I will tell him exactly what I like, and how to go about doing it.. and then I just can't reach an orgasm. Usually I have to reach my climax by myself then have him finish it off, but I've never been able to reach a climax with somebody else.
There are only certain ways I can orgasm by myself though... I cant just lay down on my back and play with my clit and eventually orgasm. I've tried that and it didn't work. hi I have been going to this college pool for like 3 years. I take lessons there and i just go and chill when im bored...
well theres this life guard named Robert..He is near perfect and well he used to teach me how to swim.He is really nice and trys to talk to me but im just to danm shy and quiet when im around him.
I don't have a nice body and i look like a hot mess when in the water...

yes, i'm in highschool... so my teacher wanted our class to make a game over whatever topic that deals with chemistry.. like organic compounds or whatever. she says we can use any type of materials we want.. but the thing is, i'm not good at making any type of games. i would probably make something very simple...

Okay, so. I have this best friend, Andrew, and I've liked him since about 6th grade or so. Shitloads of people says he feels the same since he apparently "acts" like it. I've sorta seen it, too. Even my grandmother thinks so.
5/22/09 my other BFF, Cody, and I got Andrew high for the first time, so I know we're close as hell. And We've kised a few times one night via kissing contest, held hands that same night, and we hug a lot, but that's it. If he feels the same, then I want more. But I'm unsure of how to do it, or even TO do it. Like, how do I get him to know I want him to kiss me again? Or something along those lines.
I don't know if any of that makes sense, but some advice would greatly be appreciated :]

keto diet?!

i am about to start a "keto diet" where you eat a lotttt of fat and protein and basically 0 carbs except the little that you get in greens. and you "carb up" one day a week. has anybody done this? experienced people only please. what kind of fat loss can i expect? im just trying to lose the last pounds of fat on my body so i look lean for summer (:
