Yes. You never know, she could be about to start her period (it might come next week, or even tomorrow.) If she is close (and there's no way of knowing), then she is fertile. Sex without a condom is really never a good idea.

She easily could. If she isn't ovulating yet she's going to start soon.

If she starts having sex at 12, she's going to have it repeatedly. 12 year olds who become sexually active aren't mature enough to not fuck like rabbits and get caught at some point.

Thing is, she's not going to put the condom on next time, either. Or the next, or the next. And neither is he.

She will end up pregnant at some point. I'd be willing to bet money that if she starts having sex without a condom now she'll be pregnant a month after she starts getting her periods.

12 is too young. She is a child. Not even a teen, she is an adolescent child. She isn't capable of reproducing yet, why in Gods name should she be having sex.

If you want to help your friend, you will tell her parents or a school counselor.

Pay attention, please. This is important. Maybe the most important decision you will face in the next five years.

If your friend starts having sex now, she will fuck herself up. Sex is an adult behavior, and it creates adult emotions and problems. A 12 year old has not been taught and is not old enough to understand any of this. She can't handle it.

When I say this, you are biologically not old enough to be able to have sex responsibly.

If you tell no one, you might keep her as a friend. And you get to watch, as she has sex with a variety of guys and turns herself into some asshole's sextoy. She's going to chase after guys who use her for sex, she's going to start hating herself because she can only feel loves when a guy gives her sexual attention, and she's going to become an incredibly damaged and dysfunctional person, or she's going to spend tens of thousands of dollars on therapy.

If you tell her parents, you might lose her as a friend, but you get to watch as she gets the help she needs and the attention she needs. You get to see her being protected by adults who actually know whats best for her and who can try to save her from herself. You will know that you gave her a shot at not ruining her life.

And if she doesn't, she will thank you for that someday.

It sucks. Everyone hates to be in this position. But its the right thing to do. Tell someone, get her help. She doesn't have to know it was you.

If she is not getting her period, she is not ovulating. Without ovulation, there is no egg inside her uterus, ergo, the sperm will have nothing to fertilize and a baby cannot be made.

There is a very slim chance that if she ovulates for the first time before having sex she could get pregnant. It probably won't happen, but if she keeps having sex without knowing whether or not she will get her period in the near future, the first time she ovulates could result in pregnancy (instead of having a period, the usual result of ovulation).

Being a virgin has nothing to do with whether or not sex will result in pregnancy.

Keep in mind, if her partner has had sex before he may have an STD, so a condom would not be a bad idea.

She shouldn't be having sex period. She could still get pregnant or even far worse things such as STDs. Sex is not just something one can do and keep on living after especially at 12. Doing something like that at 12 can mess you up completely emotionally, mentally, and potentially physically.

This is not something she needs to be getting into this young.

First off, a twelve-year-old should NOT be having sex, but whatever.

If she's a virgin, then there is no way she can get pregnant. That's what sex was made for.
Sometimes, periods or late or they occasionally skip, which might be why you think she's pregnant. If she hasn't even started getting her periods yet, then don't worry.
But if she has, and she doesn't get her period soon, she should go to the doctor :]

Just wait and see what happens.

Hope I helped<3 :)

your friend cannot get pregnant unless she starts her period because she is not producing eggs at this stage.but she should still consider using a condom incase of catching any STD's [:

Yes. Just because she hasn't gotten her period doesn't mean she isn't capable of reproducing.

And being a virgin has nothing to do with it either. You can get pregnant the first time you have sex.

Your friend is 12. She shouldn't even be having sex to begin with, or even thinking about it for that matter. Let alone unprotected.

I'm seriously shaking my head in disgust for what kids these days are contemplating.

Yes she could. If your friend is so intent on having sex, she does need to use protection. However, I assume you care about your friend, and I would advise you to prevent her from making this decision and tell an adult.

Razhie answered Sunday May 24 2009, 6:20 pm:
Yes, she certainly could get pregnant.

She could also get ever STD known to human beings, and could very easily get her partner arrested.

Tell her not to be an idiot. Then tell the adult who is responsible for her to make her not be an idiot.

A girl who does kind of stupid things at 12, does fantasticly dangerous things at 16. Do her a favor and make her stop.
