How do people develop "types" they're attracted to?

I know this is long, please bear with me, here. I sort of just wrote what came to mind. I'd greatly appreciate your response, this is really something I just keep to myself
For some reason I'm mainly attracted to guys with medium-length shaggy brown hair and blue or green eyes who are really into music as I am, and it just makes me instantly swoon. I'm occasionally attracted to other guys, too, mainly if they're into the same music as me or are attractive in a different way, but I've noticed I have this trend since I was pretty young. How does this sort of thing develop?
It sort of weirds me out because I'm black, and I don't like how there's controversy over "interracial" relationships, so I'd be af...

ok me and this boy have been datin for 7 months and i met another guy a few weeks ago and he really makes me happy.
The more time i spend with him i lose feelings with my current bf and im not sure how 2 end it with him. Tho my current bf is kinda pushin 4 s3x and its really gettin on my nerves.
How do i end it with him?? Oh and btw i cant see my bf im currently in a different state than him.
He doesnt call i have 2 be the one 2 call so im just waitin for him 2 call me he has done it b4 so i know he can. So am just wunderin how 2 tell him its over without bein 2 harsh.

I am in love with my boyfriend of almost five months. We've done everything but had sex and I do want to lose my virginity to him but I'd like to say I love you first. I don't want to say it first and I don't know if he feels the same way. He is leaving for college in a few days and we agreed to continue dating when we go to college. I've never felt this way about anybody and all I want is for him to say I love you. He acts like he does and treats me so well, plus he's never been committed to a girl the way he is committed to me. I want him to know that I love him but I'm so scared that he doesn't feel the same way. What do I do?

Four years ago, I met this guy through a friend and we started going out. Three months later he cheated on me, but by that time we already had so many of the same friends it was impossible not to run into each other. Over the years we have become the best of friends. Hi everyone so I have been dating my boyfriend for almost 6 months ( i am 16 and he just turned 19) and we have not had sex and we both want too. But neither of us try. We've been friends for a few years but I am very very self conscience of myself. I don't know why but I am. How do I build up confidence in myself? And one other thing which I know is strange and bizarre but you know how some girls shave everything off? Well... What do girls do with their butt ... Hole... Hair? Do u shave that too? I hate my wife's best friend

I have been with my wife for 4 years. coming into this relationship I knew her bestfriend was her ex. That should of been a red flag for me, but as the years gone by I got to know her bestfriend and the more I got to know her the more I hated her. she seems to always have to top everything I do, from cooking, to baking, to decorating to the way we dress(just so you understand I'm a girl shes a girl we are all girls)the way we raise the kids everything is a compotition. Normal feelings after a breakup

20/f - I was just wondering if it's normal to no longer have feelings for someone but hate the thought of him being with someone else. I realize that I am being incredibly selfish having such thoughts, but I don't know how to get over feeling like this. We broke up about a year and a half ago, and we've discussed getting back together, but it was never successful (either I'd want to but he didn't or he'd want to but I didn't). I feel like I am super affectionate with my boyfriend, Matthew. I am just SOOO glad to have him in my life, I love him so much, and I'm so proud of him that I can't really keep my hands off him. I'm always hugging him, kissing him on the face or top of the head, and staring at him. The problem is, I've always been afraid that I embarrass him or make him feel awkward when I do that when people are around. I am a female and 16 and
I have this best guy friend and we have no problem talking about anything and everything. If he says something that I might have found a bit offensive he always knows how to apologize and make up for it. We tell each other we love each other but it isn't actual love it's a "friendship love" you know when chick friends say "I love you" it's like the same thing (I think)
Every now and then he'll send me cute pictures with sayings on them. For example one picture he sent me was of a teddy bear holding a heart and it said "see this heart it's for you" but then he's also sent me these other pictures that said "we're not together but no else is allowed to date you ok" ...

Okay this girl and I have a lot of problems... If it isn't her family then its trust... a guy i recently had a thing with moved away to his cottage for the summer and the last time we talked sort of ended on a bad note. his friend now wants to start hanging out with me and when i was concerned for the guy i recently had a thing with feeling's, he simple stated that he already told him about it and he replied by saying "sick, go for it". the problem is, i don't really want to hang out with his friend as much as i want to hang out with him, and i'm really confused on what to do right now. considering what he said, should i just hang out with his friend, or should i try and talk things out with the guy i recently had a thing with?

When my ex and me met there was an amazing instant connection, he was everything Id ever wanted, completely perfect and we knew we were eachothers soulmates...I would have died for him. (Im 18 years to clarify) He took me out for meals, we had fun, spent everyday with eachother and for 7 amazing months were inseperable.

This guy that I've been working at a restaurant with has FINALLY asked me out after months of flirting and a couple weeks of texting. We've both been dying to see Batman, so that's what we're going to do. Hes almost 20, as I'm still a senior in High school. He's the cool, laid back partier. He went to a large High school and from what I hear was very popular. So my boyfriend and I have been dating for 6months now, we've been on 2 "breaks" because I felt like I couldn't deal with his ways. I'm 22 and he's 24, we're both in college, he just recently got a job 2 weeks ago because he needed to pay rent.
