Church Wedding

So I’m engaged to be married in one year. I was raised Christian and although I don’t go to church or anything any more my I do still believe. My fiancé is an atheist. It’s really important to me (and to my family) to get married in the church but he says that would be ‘compromising his beliefs’ and doesn’t want to. I don’t care if we never step foot in a church again but my uncle is a priest and I can’t tell him that he can’t preside over my wedding! I’ve always known and respected that we don’t feel the same way about religion but I want to spend the rest of my life with this guy but I don’t know what to do about the wedding. Any advice?

Well....I have a little problem. Ok I really like this boy, and we're good friends, but I want to be more. I'm shy beyond belief. I don't know what to do. I want to tell him how I feel but I don't know how. I can't come out and say it, thats not my style. I really belief that he may like me too, but im not 100% sure. I don't know how I can make myself sure enough to ask him. And The closest step I've taken is asking him to hang out. My friends think they uderstand what is going on, but it...it just isn't as easy as they make it seem. To my friemds feelings are somthing they can shout out and not care who hears, including the one it involves. But for me, its diffrent, i've always hidden whats inside, so what do I do? and dontsay take a dive and tell him. That wont help.

I am a seventeen year old female and I am in love. What is the problem with this, you may ask? I shall tell you. The man I love is 7.5 years my senior (he's 25) and he lives in another continent. He says that he loves me as well, but I'm not sure how to make this relationship work. Can a 17 year old and a 25 year old really make it? Especially with him being so far away... He says he may move here in December, however, but then what? My parents would never approve and I crave their approval like I crave oxygen. I am at a loss. I don't really know what I'm asking, quite frankly, and I won't be surprised if no one replies. I suppose I'm just looking for opinions. Thanks.

okay i'm 15 years old and heres a few thign syous hould know .. my best friend lisa and i stopped talking for 5 months and now are talking and are BEST BEST BEST friends forever she is dating and has been for 8 months a guy named mark well the day me and lisa hung out it was with mark and a bunch of our other friends .. and well i liek mark A LOT and lisa and him have had sex. mark sais his summer goal is to have sex with me and i wouldnt mind ;] and he treats her liek shit when im a round he comes over my house without her a lot too idk what to do and me and lisa ahve begun to fight MORE & MORE because of the way me and mark act around eachother .. i tell her he treats her like shit and shes like stfu i already know and she wont dump h...

14 yrs old. 180 lbs, im a girl. I'm 5 foot 7, and have a big build to begin with, like i have broad shoulders. Im a major tomboy too, so all my clothes r kinda baggy, and i wear long shorts and football jerseys. Will guys EVER like me? Why is everything based on looks?I rate high

ok... when ever i go on vacations i meet/see really cute guys but im really shy so we barely talk. Then the day to leave comes and i get all emotional about it and i barely even know them. But im really hard on myself over it and i get mad that i didnt get any contact information and stuff. So how do i over come the shyness and get the courage to go talk to them more???

ok so me and my best friend both like a guy and it so happens these guys are best friends but were going into highschool and we dont know if we will end up likeing somebody new..and they want to ask us out but we keep saying we dont know if we want a boyfriend rite now..so should we tell them we want a boyfriend and go out with them or just leave it be and wait for highschool or what?

okay i'm just friends with this kid, and he isn't shy just friends, but when we go out he is so shy, and i really hate it, we went out twice and both times he was really shy, and he makes me feel wierd around him, i really like him, and if we ever go out again, i don't want him to be shy .... so wat should i say to him if we ever go out and he's shy???

i was in love once. with my ex bf of over a year. we broke up cause i found out he cheated on me. well its been 4 months since we broke up. and every bf ive had i compare to him and i cant let him go. we were SO close and i was so comfortable around him. well weve been hanging out lately. and i still get butterflies so much and i love being around him. we were at my house last night and he started holding my hand. and we just talked about how things used to be with us and all our little inside jokes and stuff. i dont know how to tell him i want him back. cause i do. and i know i shouldnt but everyone makes mistakes and i really love him. and my parents love him..and his parents love me..its just perfect..help..what do i tell him without sounding all weird??

I have a crush on my best friend (opposite sex) i mean hes not my omg best best friend but hes my best guy friend and i like him. I really want him to know how i feel but im don't wanna lose the relationship i already have with him. Cause i know that if i tell him im shy so i will start acting weird around him then he probably will too.

You seem to be really good at this sort of a problem so I am going to ask you! lol haha ANYWAYS..there is this guy that I have liked for a couple of months now, but the thing is I really dont want to like him anymore, because its just taking away my life because all I think about is him..=( And when he went out with this one girl I got really jealous and it hurt me because I told him he should go out with her because like that one saying ( if you love someone set them free) and I did that..but it didnt help me at all and I just became kinda depressed. My boyfriend and I have been dating for 8 months now, but he's been one of my closest friends for about 4 years. I truly am in love with him and I know this because I've never felt this feeling before. I won't get into that, however. He just graduated this year and is going to a college that is about 2 hours away. He promised me he'd be home as much as he can and I know he will, but I don't think I can go that long without him. He went on vacation for about 1 week out of the country and I was so upset. I couldn't stop thinking about him and was never happy during this time period. I think about him leaving all the time and how much I'll miss him. I don't know what I'll do without him..I've never had a boyfriend like...

my boyfriend of a few months says that whenever he tries to get 'close' to me... i back away, or .. idk, i just seem like i dont want to. Ill admit that i do that sometimes.. and i have no idea why.. hes so amazing and i dont want him to think i dont appreciate and like him because of my insecurities or whatever's wrong with me... i need advice on how to fix the way i do things... and not be so unafectionate.. thanks

OKay! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE MY BOYFRIEND, but sometimes it feels like we aren't as good as we used to be. I dont' know, I mean I dont' want anything to happen to us. It's just, he's been away a lot and stuff and I mean, it feels weird, because it's not like I miss him even that much anymore. I dont' know! It is just different and I really don't like it.
