Do Those Emergency Window Breaker Things Really Work?

my dad gave me this thing as a keychain, and it has a light on one side, and a little spikey thing on the other, and he said that the spikey thing is for breaking a window underwater if you ever need it. like if you drive your car into water or something. the thing is actually really tiny..but could it really work? how hard would you have to hit the window with it? the tip looks like this...

Surgery Fears

For the past two years I have been having a sharp pain in my right shoulder. I have been to many doctors and nobody can diagnose it let alone find a way to fix it. I am in constant pain despite the surgery I have already had. I am going to be having another surgery very soon and I'm so scared. I'm only 15 and I'm being told I might need a joint replacement or I might have to live with this pain for the rest of my life. As if this isn't bad enough, I'm deathly afraid of hospitals and needles, something I've been having to deal with a lot. Any advice on how to deal with my injury and fears?

ok so, my entire vagina has been super sore and like stinging. inside and out. i've never had sex before so im pretty sure it's not an STD. it started about 2 days after my period and im still on my period right now. it almost feels like it might be swollen. and im also having MAXIMUM discharge. it's about 10x more than I normally have on a daily basis. It's really disgusting. Basically what I want to know is what this is, why it's happening, and how I can prevent it or stop it.

Im a 18/m who has or had a 18/f. She recently told me about 2 things she had lied to me about. What they are doesnt matter, what does is that we could have worked past them. So after she told me these things i broke up with her, because she had already started telling me that she loves me.
This is my second serious relationship and thats why im asking this question. Can someone love you and still lie to you about fairly big things? She is perfect for me, she loves me more than i love myself, and i always saw her as the most caring loving person that i've met. i have thick hair and i was wondering what is the best curling iron for me...
i use chi flat iron and chi products in my hair...
also my hair has a hard time keeping the curls in...any ideas on that as well? and i hate using hair spray...

I have this problem where everything has to be perfect like everything has to be clean organized and perfct in every way at home and at work and if its not I freek out .people think I have an attitude becase I have to have to be perfect in everything I do no place for error and people don't like that especaly when its not done right to my standards but I'm in a good mood only when things are clean and organized but when its not I'm in a bad mood but that's me and it is taking over my life to where no one likes me .I see my self better than most people and to me most people are slobs .so what is my problem I have no clue .does anybody know I'm cluless

Good Guy Friend

My good friend came over to my house and started to try to find my "tickle spots" and wanting to massage me on the places that i have muscle pain. He also tried to lift me in a playful way. He also said "I can't get over how soft your skin is."
I'm wondering if my guy friend likes me more than a friend.

Aerobic Dance!

Okay so, I signed up for aerobic dance for my school, They have 2 different type of dance classes, "regular dance" and "aerobic dance" I was in regular dance for about 2 weeks last year, then got switched out of it, and got put into P.E. I hated p.e. so I thought this year I would sign up for something else. Well, today was our first day to actually go and practice, and we're doing the same exact stuff we did last year! same exercises and everything. is aerobic dance just like regular dance? is it harder or easier? plus, I was informed that I have to perform infront of the whole school (with my class) at the end of the year, I have two problems though..
1.) I am not even 1% flexible and i'm uncoordinated.

Parent Troubles

I'm a fifteen year old girl and lately I've felt like I'm not good enough for my parents. They always concentrate on my weaknesses and not my strengths. Even the smallest things get me in trouble but when I try to talk to my parents about how I'm feeling, they shut me out. Even on good days I'll get ignored when I talk or they'll roll their eyes at me and say I'm just trying to be dramatic and get attention. When I get mad I start yelling and then I get in more trouble and my parents REALLY won't listen to me. They're hypocritical and judgmental and I don't know what to do. HST Tax?

I live in Ontario and I thought that the HST tax doens't apply to children's clotghing and footwear, infant and child care seats, diapers, books, footwear under $4, newspapers, female hygiene products, and any food/candy under $4?
Well I buy cookies often and I was charged $1.13 at metro and at Tim Horton's I forgot how much but it was definitely not the price that was up there. Am I right or does HST apply to EVERYTHING?

Excuses to talk to me?

I feel like my crush makes silly excuses to talk to me. He asks me questions that I almost know for a fact that he already knows the answers to. It makes me think "duh, he likes me," but sometimes the signs aren't that clear. He's nice to me, as he is to everyone, but I don't typically find him staring at me every second. He's smiles and/or waves when we see eachother or make eye contact. One thing I have noticed is that if I see him from far away, it feels like he will suddenly turn or act a bit startled. Haha. I've been with my boyfriend for five years. Last year we broke up but then got back together 5 months later. We've almost been back together for a year. We broke up becos I felt unappreciated, there was no romance, and it got so boring that I was going crazy. It's actually worse since we've gotten back together. There's never any thank yous or appreciation shown when I do things for him. He helps me out financially so I feel indebted to him. I'm afraid of making the wrong decision if I leave. Where do you draw the line?

Okay so there is this guy i was set up with by one of my best friends. We finally met up without her and to both of our surprise it wasn't awkward at all. We were totally comfortable and had so much in common and think the same way. Ten minutes after my good friend called me and said she talked to him a second ago and he was raving about me and how he had never met anyone like me. This was great to me. what kinds of clothes will flatter my body?

I'm starting college this year and I'm really starting to get annoyed with trying to find clothes that flatter my body. The problem is that I'm sort of flat chested. Not completely flat, but I'm 5'7'' and I weigh about 135lbs. Most girls that are my size have boobs, and most girls that are flat are like stick thin, so it's really hard to find clothes that look good because I feel like all clothes are made for women who have at least a little something on top. If this helps, I like to dress comfortably, and I wear skinny jeans a lot. What kinds of tops or outfits would flatter my body? I have no idea how to dress for my figure. Any ideas are appreciated. so I've noticed lately that my face is getting really dry. I've started putting moisturizer and then i do my make up routine, which includes powder, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, and lip gloss sometimes. Well i was wondering is it that im putting too much make up on? And also is there any way to moisturize my skin with out moisturizer? i know that sounds stupid but bare with me. thanks.

I'm 20/f, my boyfriend is 18. We've been together for 3 years. We've had our ups and downs, but we've always worked out. Basically, he's done a lot of crap to me that I just put up with.Anyway, I found out that he cheated on me a couple of weeks ago. (He had sex with another girl;I don't know her) And now I can't figure out what to do.
