trouble sleeping

i have not been able to sleep well at all. i take about 2 hours to fall asleep, and then i'll wake up about 10 times during the night, and then take another 10 minutes to fall asleep after each time. i don't like to take sleeping pills cuz they make me wake up in a haze the next morning, and i get up really early. what can i do?

I'm really not the emo type. I'm a cheerleader, age 16 , and I sing and play violin.. but suddenly my dad has been acting like such an asshole to me. He yells at me over nothing. I could be studying silently and he'd yell that I was being lazy and needed to clean. Anyways, I have a swiss pocket knife I took from him when I got mad and never had intentions of using it. One day I felt like shit and he was going off again and I didn't even know what I was doing but I cut all up and down my one arm and I did feel better. However I need to stop. No parents or doctors or adults involved. I can't deal with them. Please help..

become angry at myself over my weight

Hi,
Im 21 and 5'4". I currently weigh around 160. in my past i was aneroxic and had to fight not to go to the hospital, but i was HAPPY with my image. i ate what i needed to keep energy and after high school, i gained 30 lbs. its not like i dont work out, I DO, 2 times a week. and I do eat healthy. im just becoming angry at myself and about to drop the food and everything else because i cannot handle it anymore. any advise or word to from the wise?

i know its soon but my bf is 18 and valentines days coming up. we didnt get eachother stuff for christmas but i want to just send him something for valentines day. were in a long distance relationship. hes not very open about being affectionate and stuff and i dont think hed be into anything too "cutesy". and i dont really want to go alll out on this just a little something hed appreciate or get a smile out of. what do guys like to get as gifts? hes not at all into clothes or shopping and doesnt have any particular hobbies/things he needs. thanks.

Supporting boyfriend with Depression.

My boyfriend has been very depressed for a while. It's mostly because of the way his parents treat him. They're constantly pressuring him to go into the military (even though he doesn't want to) and they're always calling him a failure, an idiot, dumb, etc.
The other day I talked to his mom about how they can stop pressuring him so much and to stop with the name calling.
Well, last night my boyfriend and his dad got into a physical fight and his parents kicked him out.
What are some things I can do to help my boyfriend feel complete, happy, and worthy?

How do I stop men from emotionally withdrawing themselves from me? So I'm a 19 year old girl who has a problem with men emotionally withdrawing themselves from me.
I'm a relatively mature 19 year old, who usually gets along with people a few years older than me better than people my own age.
I have been through this with my two ex boyfriends, who are 24 and 26 year old men. I need help on new relationship

I met this girl at church three and a half months ago. She is a good person and we are so compatible. I love her a lot. I have some issues with her not calling me until the late evening, not answering my texts or even remember my birthday! She doesn't work and her kids are at school. Plus, she is always busy to see me. She never commits to a time and if she does she rarely follows thru. I feel that new relationships require time together not once every three weeks. What should i do? Am I asking for too much? By the way she just left a abusive relationship before we met. now when do see each other she treats me and makes me feel special but I am hurt because I don't see her often.

so i dont have an answer to this one but maybe someone else does. its kinda hard. but i was just wondering and this question hit me and i couldnt answer it. just a note, my faith is strong and am not doubting anything, i think that wondering and asking questions just brings us closer to god. so the question is, there have been alot of description of heaven in all religions and they are pretty much all the same. what i am wonder is, am sure heaven differs in preceptive from one person to another. what if heaven from my preceptive is living now, having this sort of life, feeling pain, guilt, happiness, love..etcc... what if heaven to me means being human? what if the heaven i want is what i have now? i dont want palaces or river or any of the...

About a year ago my ex lost his mother and then a couple weeks later his brother followed. And soon after that we ended up breaking up. I have posted a couple questions about my husbands and my relationship the thing is the only respone I ever get is to leave him. What i am trying to say is i am scared to or feel that way. its like he does things that make me feel like he cares even though he doesnt work he doesnt help with the kids and he wastes money like i could go pick it off the trees. Should I bleach my hair?

Okay, so I have dark skin, sort oof mocha color, and naturally black hair, which is sort of long.
I got red streaks put in a few months ago, but red fades easily, and they were very thin streaks, under alayer, so it's pretty hard to see.
I love the black hair, sure, but I really want some BRIGHT red streaks in there. I'm a bit of a punk kid, and it's somethign i've wnated for a while.
thing is, I don't have enough money to get a professional bleaching, and also, everytime i go to a professional, they never do it how i like. They like to do the general boring styles, wheras i like bold chunks and stuff.
I found a bleach kit for home that would have worked, but i can't buy it online.

Ok so I liked this guy he's a year older and I met him at the beggining of the school year.
