im 13/f. i just got back from the doc. i am 5'2 and weigh 90 pounds. i grew 5 inches and gained 14 pounds in a year. is that normal? cause i feel biiiiggg.

15, 160cm, 140-something lbs.
I really want to lose atleast 15 pounds by summer time.. you know so I won't look .. flabby in a bathing suit. I want to lose weight in the tummy (I have a 'bowl full of jelly' haha) area and thighs/butt.
However I find it really difficult to stick to a plan, there is no gym that doesn't require a fee near my area, and my parents are too stingy to drive me (yet they tell me I'm fat and I should go do something that would help me get skinnier all the time lol). I also find myself snacking straight when I come back from school, argh.
Soooo.. yeah, what to do.
P.S Please don't tell me something like to drink something like ... 8 glasses of milk a day, b...

A couple of questions because it seems like somethhing that would really help me lol.
1) Does the South Beach Diet really work?
2) Is it safe to do?
3) Does it cut out all carbs?

ok well....
for some reason recently i've been eating a lot more then i usually do. I now have like fat just above my hip. i am going to flordia on may 26 and i need to get rid of it by then to wear my bathing suit. what should i do?

Ok, so I'm a 16, almost 17/m, and i'M ABOUT 5'9. I hate it. All of my friends are at least 6'. I really want to grow taller if i want to have a better chance at playing football in college. Are there any ways i can make myself grow taller, as crazy as it sounds?

In fitness magazines, I always see these women with this like on their abs. Ive been working on my abs alot lately and i just cant seem to get that line. Does anyone know what kind of workout your supposed to do to get it?

Ok so summer's almost here im a little nervous about getting into a bathing suit again. My thighs kinda jiggle when i walk and i dont know how to stop that...also my stomach does the same thing...i run everyday and i try to do crunches but they really hurt my back. I'm nervous I won't be in shape in time.

I go to the gym 5 times a week and I still have a bit of flab on my hips. (Love handles)
Aside from cardio and eating well, can anyone give me some good exercises that work to strenghten my sides and minimize the fat there? It is the only place were I can't lose weight.

Okay, i weigh 145 pounds and im only 5'1.I know thats wicked embarrassing and i feel so uncomfortable. I really want to loose weight. I have this pilates DVD and i wanted to know if anyone has tried them, and if so do they work. Obviously you have to eat right too but if i eat right and do the pilates workout 3-4 times a week will i loose about 20 pounds before july? does anyone have any other weight loss tips.Thanks in advance

This is embarrasing for me, but I have to get help. recently I got a haircut and it looks great, except only if i straighten it every day, i dont have time for this and i know it could ruin my hair...so I need advice on hair fixes for short, blonde hair (about chinlength) i need as many replies as possible!!thank you anyone who answers this.

hey. 14/f. ok, well i really want to loose some weight. like 20-30 pounds or somethin like that. i've tried before, but i just can't seem to stick to it because of one reason. i'm worried that when i loose weight, there will be that gross left over skin. and even when i get older i wouldn't want to get lipo or anything. so will there be extra skin?? cause i would rather be somewhat fat then have all that extra gross skin just hanging there. lol. sorry, that was a little gross. anyways. i also have another question. what are some good foods that i can eat. i know fruit and stuff, but what else? and also, do those 100 clorie ( idk how to spell that) packs work?? please help with all of these questions!! thanks!!!! luv luv!

i would really like to do a total body makeover by toning up amd eating right. but i just can't help myself. I have a tendency to just keep snacking. And i can never really get in the habit of working out everyday. I'm buying my own food, but i'll wnader into the kitchen and and just grab something. i'm defiantely not fat, but i really want to get into a health kick. how can i stop myslef from snacking all the time,and how get i get myself into a habit of regularly working out?? does anybody have any tips,or plans that i can follow? please help..

so i'm on this diet thing... well it's not really a diet because it's healthy and safe... so it's more of an eating plan...
I stay between 1500-1800 calories a day...
and well, i get all shaky and feel like i'm about to die or black out or something when I can't have my food that I actually want- whether it's junk food or just pasta or something...
and i know there have to be days when you just plain don't think about what you're eating.
How often can I have these days?
once a week? twice? once a month? i just don't know

i want smaller thys. i run a mile a day or a little over a mile a day, and do track & soon cheerleading again. i don't want my thys to get more muscle.. will runing get them bigger? i just want to loose weigh and get skinner- my top is small but my thys/butt are too big. what can i do? i dont want to go to a gym or yoga -home kinda exercises
