weight loss!

Question Posted Tuesday April 17 2007, 6:14 pm

15, 160cm, 140-something lbs.

I really want to lose atleast 15 pounds by summer time.. you know so I won't look .. flabby in a bathing suit. I want to lose weight in the tummy (I have a 'bowl full of jelly' haha) area and thighs/butt.

However I find it really difficult to stick to a plan, there is no gym that doesn't require a fee near my area, and my parents are too stingy to drive me (yet they tell me I'm fat and I should go do something that would help me get skinnier all the time lol). I also find myself snacking straight when I come back from school, argh.

Soooo.. yeah, what to do.

P.S Please don't tell me something like to drink something like ... 8 glasses of milk a day, because it's a lot... water is understandable.

P.S no. 2 - Is 160cm 5'3 or 5?

160cm=5'3

www.sparkpeople.com. It's a REALLY helpful site, you know... Requires registration and all that, and is VERY confusing. However it will help you reach your target in the time span that you want (no more than 1 kilos per week though).

If you're impatient and all that, try the Cabbage Soup Diet. You can lose up to 10 pounds in 7 days. Here's the link:

[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

You basically have to make this soup, right? So ask your mom (you can do this too - it's easy) to make the soup. Now what you do is eat ONLY what's stated on the "7-day plan" page (the links are up above in blue, so is the recipe for the soup). Don't branch off to mini snacks. Just stick to the program, even if it's just eating veggies or ONLY fruit. And of course, you have to drink the cabbage soup during the day, as often as you wish.

There's a different 'meal' per day.
Day 1: Fruit
Day 2: Veggies
Day 3: Days 1 & 2 mixed
Day 4: Bananas and skim milk
Day 5: Beef and tomatoes
Day 6: Beef and vegetables
Day 7: Brown rice, unsweetened fruit juices and veggies.

You have to drink the soup AT LEAST once a day.

If you're not too fond of veggies .. well .. I don't know. I hate to tell you to do situps and all that - I've been where you are right now, trust me, and the last thing you need is having someone tell you to do the impossible. Just give it a shot, check with your parents first though.

=)

Happy cabbaging!
Kay.

its techincally 5.49... but thats about 5'3. run for 15-30 minutes each day. Also, for your stomach, do crunches- 200-300 a day. The best thing out there is squats. It works everything!!

hope i helped, and good job with the commitment
