texting on cell phones

is there a way for texts to get lost? or can i just safely assume that if the person doesnt reply they just ignored it? bc with my cell usually if it doesnt send out, it'll say so like "message unable to send. try again" is there a separate process for receiving a text too? =(

Shaving "down there" (male)

I am a teenage male and I was thinking about shaving my genital area and I was wondering is there a better/easier way to remove hair down there. It seems kind of uncomfortable and frankly scary to put a razor to my scrotum and also do girls want you to shave your butt or rather behind the testicles. Ha sorry wow this is more graphic than I wanted it to be.

Studying in College

Hi I am a junior in high school and I am wondering what studying in college is like. I do well in school now but I want to know what I need to do to do well in college, I am leaning towards an engineering major at the moment. Any first hand experience or study techniques would be helpful, thanks.

Studying for the AP US History Exam

I am junior in highschool and I have AP Tests coming up. I am a straight A student but my AP US teacher is kind of easy so I am worried I will not be as prepared for the test. Does anyone have any tips for studying for this exam. I bought the Princeton review book but its so wordy I might as well be reading my text book.
One more thing-I often get bored when reading my history text, I really like history but sometimes the format and the shear amount of reading gets to me. Any tips for making this reading more bearable. Thank you for the help, you are all very kind people who take the time to help so many others who seek advice :) Keep it up, I love the site.

My ex-boyfriend broke up with me a few months ago, because he told me he has issues and wasn't ready to carry on a relationship. First time with makeup

prom is coming up and i never do anything with my looks or even wear makeup so I just decided that I want to look unrecognizable at prom with wearing makeup.
Wearing a white dress with a black sash, leaving my hair down and curled and i want my makeup like this:

1. Conceal and brighten the face under eyes, around mouth, nose, and forehead (YSL Touch Eclat)
2. Make eyes appear less tired and lift the cheekbones

The day I met him I said I was going to marry him, I said thats him, im going to marry that guy someday. It's almost been a year and we have had a rocky long distance relationship with cheating problems(mainly me) He is the guy I love and want to marry, he is my best friend. My mom has been my bestfriend, the person who i could run to if or when i'm feeling down, i told her everything, we talk about everything, i always thought she was honest with me because she is a christian... My dad died when i was 12, we were sooo close and since then i 've never been the same, about 3yrs after i learnt that he wasn't my dad, from her mouth, for a month straight i couldn't look in the mirror straight because it was like i never recognize myself, my reflection....i didn't know who i was, now i don't even know how to trust her anymore.

Ive been with my boyfriend for 4yrs already we have 2 kids together. He treats me like im a piece of garbage and i dont understand why I put up with it.
Im a smart person i got my AA and now im working on my teaching degree. Im the one that works and takes care of our kids while his lazy ass sits around and does nothing yet he has the nerve to call me nasty names to tell me im ugly, fat, and worthless... I know i deserve better i just had my son 2 months ago and im not fat i have a pouch but that will go away with some exercise im 5'4" and i weigh 155. Everyone has a dream, and mine has been movie making since I was able to walk. I have written countless scripts that are clever and humourous, and It is my dream to have them viewed on youtube in the way I had pictured. But upon filming today I discovered my voice is disgusting, it is croaky and rough, really Aussie. I don't know what to do, its really getting me down. The hopes of success with this had pulled me out of my down spiral of the past few years and now I fear slipping back into it. I don't really know why I am asking, I guess I just feel like support, because I don't have any friends, and my parents aren't around, its hard for me to do it by myself, and something this little screwed everything up.

i have two friends that i'm particularly close with. the three of us used to hang around each other all the time. one of my friend, A, used to have a guy that she's close to. obviously to all of us he was just playing with her but she really loved him. after they broke up (he really broke her heart), she confided with the other friend B the most. then we all found out that B is dating the guy. Car Accident/Friendship over

I took my friend to walmart to get something on the way back i had an accident and he went with me to take pictures of the car and he showed people we both know, but then he was also showing random people the car. then i got mad and cursed him out and talked shit about him on facebook. Was that as awfulas it seems. i think i have some validity i felt he was going to far to get attention and having my business out there all at once.
