Do cats scratch alot? How do you stop them?

Hi, im Gracie and I'm 13 and my dad's finally letting me get another pet and I really, really, really want a kitten. My dads not a big fan of cats; he said that they scratch up everything and climb all over the place. I don't really care about the climbing, but how do you stop them from scratching up everything? Would it help to just keep their nails trimmed? How do I convince my dad to let me get a kitten? We have a leather couch, can a kitten scratch through leather? And I have a 2 yr old golden retriever, Sly, he's super sweet, will they get along?

There's this guy I know, he's a year older than me, but we're going into the same grade (I'm twelve, he's almost thirteen). I'm going to get this out right now: I have a HUGE crush on him. Last year, he always paid me special attention, like making sure I was the first to sign his yearbook and sitting down next to me or near me every day in class. I'm really shy and unpopular ( I am what most would call a genius with a high IQ), and there's this other popular girl who likes him too. What can I do next year so we can be more than friends? Tare in Vaginal Lining

I have two small tares in my vaginal lining just above the opening to my vagina, I noticed some irriatation after having sex with my boyfriend a few weeks ago, but over the last week the pain has gotten worse,and unbearable and it burns when I urinate, I decided to get a mirror and check down there and found the two tares... I have no medical insurance so going to the doctors is out.. Is there anyone who can tell me what I can use to heal the tares and to stop the pain, I am at wits end please help

My boyfriend and I have been dating for about 4 years and just recently started living together, despite our young age (I'm 19 and he's 20). My question might sound kind of silly... but do guys ever get tired of a girl's body? I mean, we have sex 3 or 4 times a week, but most nights I sleep without a shirt on... which needless to say he loves, but do you think that after a while he would stop getting turned on by me? Or is this something that many couples do? I feel like I am maybe too liberal with my body... generally speaking, do guys prefer girls to be more liberal or do they find modesty a turn-on when it comes to sex? Thanks for your advice!

Hi, i'm 13 and my birthday is coming up and i'm turning 14! I'm so excited and i cant think of a theme for my party!:/ I am inviting boys and girls. Fiasco!

A few months ago, everything on my computer got hacked, and my advicenator password was stored with my old email. I want to get my account back. Whenever I try to reset the password, it asks for my email and its my old one. I reset the password a long time ago to something I don't remember when everything got hacked. Is there any way to get my account back?

It was about 2 months ago when I got my belly button pierced. It hurt for a few days after, but it didn't really puss. The ring my piercer used was a circle one that looks something like this:

white spots on my teeth

On the bottom half of my two front teeth, I have these white spots or stains. My mom says that I have them because of flouride and swallowing toothpaste when I was younger. They never bothered me because I had braces for 7 years and you couldnt see them. But now they are really noticable and I absolutely hate them.
If I try to whiten my teeth, sometimes they blend in but other times theyll really stick out, so now I just brush my teeth with baking soda before the paste to try to make the rest of the teeth whiter.
So my question is, is there anything I can do to fix thix or make them less noticable myself? Im a teen mom with two working parents, so I hate taking the time to go to dentists/doctors unless its ...

My mom is constantly writing people off in her life. I'm 36 years old and from as long as I can remember back my mom has been disowning family and friends. I always dreaded the day that it would be me. But, she wrote me off about a month ago, for nothing in my eyes. In addition to myself- in this episode (which is what I call these mood periods) she has alienated herself from me, my sister, her two sisters, her three nieces, and a nephew over a facebook comment one of her nieces wrote after she went on a verbal attack on facebook herself.
