What to do when you are really shy and you like a shy guy?

I'm 16 years old and I like this guy who is 2 years older than me. He works at the same place i do and goes to the same school as me. He is really shy and because i'm shy too, i struggle to show my emotion toward him. When people jokingly say "have you asked him out yet?" or when they say to him "have you asked her out yet?" we both just say "no" and act like we're not interested. We had to work together the other night and we talked for the first time, but i dont know if he's actually interested in me or not. What is your advice about how i can see if he likes me back and what i should say to him if we ever talk again?

I quit drinking... now what?

This is a little about my past 4 years. I basically have not been sober for longer than a day or two in 4 years, whether it be pot, pills, shrooms, salvia, drinking,..etc. For the year 1/2 Ive been drinking everyday, quitting everything else. I think Im an alcoholic. Very 'functioning', but I do love to drink.
Now, I quit drinking because it was beginning to be a major problem. Im no longer friends with people, I got taken advantage of, binge drinking when Im out, and Ive been drinking every day. Ive taken the first step of not drinking. But now what?
All of my friends with an exception of a smallll few drink. My band drinks. Everyone. Im at a weak point where I dont want to perform at bars ...

Is this spider poisonous?!

Okay, I have a HUGE spider phobia and I'm way to scared to look this up in case there's a picture of this thing, but I was in my bathroom when I saw these spiders. I'll admit, they wwere kinda small maybe about the size of a pea with thin legs and they were orange and black, a bit striped.
Please tell me this isn't poisonous. (And don't lecture me on why I shouldn't be scared of spiders, I can't help it!)

Ok so I'm 16 and my boyfriend is older. He is absolutely amazing, but I just feel like I can't compare to him. He always sends me cute things in texts messages and stuff, and I need to do that for him. But I just can't think of anything!! We are in a long distance relationship so things are hard enough. ok im gonna make this really short. i am a 13 year old girl and sometimes, when my mom is screaming at me and grabbing my face and pulling my hair and all that fun s*it, my mom will scream at me "i will wreck you". other times, she will say it jokingly. is it ok for her to say that in a joking situation or in a yelling situation or none at all? please answer. kisses!

i am a 13 year old girl and i have a question: how come my interests constantly change and hardly ever last a long time? like i went from being obsessed with gothic clothes and emo and scene guys to falling in love with the beatles and girly vintage clothes. @ first i was thinking that criss angel and a bunch other dudes who have a dark bad boy vibe and then a month or so later, im obsessed with every one of the beatles! im still in this beatles stage cause it started only about 2 weeks ago but im completely obsessed! im even listening 2 them right now (tee hee!) but anyway, all im asking is why my interests change so drastically and quickly. none of my interests stay the same with the exception of very few. please help me out and answer this question. kisses!

financial aid trouble

hey i asked a question about this a week ago..i need 6000 for tuition books and a computer for college. this is after all the grants and loans included in my finanical aid package. as far as i know i cant get any more direct loans or anything like that. i tried a outside loan but i need a cosigner but everyone in my family has horrible credit..so now im like stuck and cant go to school because i need 6000 and cant find a cosigner? what do i do? it sucks that my family is retarded and doesnt care about what turns out. i have to do everything on my own =[ please help

I have a male friend that I have a crush on but I'm not sure how things would work out between us. He doesn't seem like the relationship type he just seems like a big flirt to me. He cool person to be around he's a lot fun and very attractive and I wish I could be with him and I hope he feels the same way but I have all these doubts. So I try to get over him and I do mostly. I actually haven't thought about him in awhile But I had 2 dreams about him that left me confused. In the first dream he kisses me and the second dream I'm at his house just hanging out. When I woke I was confused and it made me think about him and then my feelings starting coming back. What are my dreams trying to tell me?

So this guy im seeing five months ago says oh yeah.. I want a picture of us and frame it in my room.. NOW he never ever MENTIONED ONCE we need pictures together we should get a picture together.. NO picture on his profiles of us NOTHING! thats a bad sign isnt it? I hear if they dont put up a picture because they dont want othersd to know or have your options opened.. but with like pictures they know your not available.. is this true??

There's a guy I like and he asked me out today... but he's got some issues with his past and sees a counselor. That's not too bad I guess, tons of people are like that. What is a biggie is that that in addition to his temper and the fact he went suicidal last time a girl broke up with him.
I do care about this guy a lot as my friend, and feel sparks of attraction, but it seems like a dangerous situation to be in, to be his girlfriend. If we were to break up, I do NOT wanna deal with the possibility of a crazy stalker ex.
More than anything it's just my gut telling me that he's more unstable than he seems, not actual evidence. I don't know what to do. I'm worried if I say no things will ...

Problem: The guy im seeing has this REALLY pretty girl on his facebook and he aws on dating sites and I dont know how he met her.. or how he knows her.. shes new.. and im really scared hes going to cheat on me.. he once said : why do people cheat with fat people... why not pretty people? also I had dreams of him cheating CONSTANTLY!! and the fact that he comments on girls more then he comments on me.. ive put so much so much work into the relationship im scared hes going to hurt me.. what if that girl hits on him.. shes prettier.. So, as an addition to another gift I'm giving him for his birthday...I wanted to make him a mixtape. He LOVES music (same with me), and I think he'd really appreciate it.
