He is moving away forever... what gift can I give him?
so im 18 and my boyfriend of three years is moving in like 20 or less days over seas forever :( and i wanted to give him somthing so special so sweet that he could keep with him till i get to visit in december any ideas?

I have a special blankie from when I was a baby that I still sleep with. Well I cut a little piece of the silky edging off in the shape of a heart and I sewed it up and left a small hole and put stuffing into it and then I sewed the rest up. It was like a teeny tiny silky heart shaped pillow that he can carry in his wallet. It's really thoughtful and something he can have with him all the time but small enough to put away in his wallet. Do you like that idea?

I say you get him something that he will always remember you with, whenever he looks at it:
Dogtags, if he wears jewellery, maybe get them engraved with something?
How about a journal? But fill it with stuff like pictures, and movie tickets, restaurant reciepts, stuff from your anniversaries, or from your first date? Or make a box with the same things?
What are his interests? Does he have some sort of sport or something he really enjoys? Maybe get him something related to an interest of his?
I think the first two options are the best as they are personalised, and if its hand made, the better because it shows you have put thought and care and work into creating it.
