Do you think purchasing a long term care insurance is worth it?

Some of My relatives in both sides (mom and dad) are in nursing homes. they have history of longevity in the family, but the sad part of it is that they end up in nursing homes. Now my dad is reaching his 60s and Im kinda worried that he will lose his vigor and cant even do simple tasks.
Do you think Long term care insurance is a good investment?

Should I move or stay and finish college?

Alright so I'm married and my husband is in the Navy. I won't be able to move with him until May. By then I'll only have about 5 more classes to take to finish my Associate's. But it's been really hard with him gone. We've been married for about 3 months and I've seen him once. I know most people would say to stay and finish but it just sucks. The thing with college is I have a scholarship that pays 3/4 of my classes but that last semester I'll be short about 2 hours so I won't be able to qualify for it. It's just staying till next December seems so far away. I love him so much that I just want to be with him. And I knew what I was getting into when I married him. I just want someone's opinion on the matter and what I should do. Thanks so much!

Is it possible to work our your whole body with just dumbbells?

My room is pretty small, and I don't have money for gym membership, so I was thinking of just keeping dumbbells and weights in my room.
But is it possible to work our your whole body with just dumbbells? I just don't have space for a weight bench or a barbell.

failing community college

I have attended community college for about 3 years now. During those three years i have accomplished nothing. My transcript consist of horrible grades and a couple of "w"s (withdrawals).. and since my major was undecided/undeclared for 3 years, i have taken classes from all sorts of major (got bad grades in most of them) im 20 now and have finally decided i want to get into the medical field as a nurse or a doctor. since i cant retake classes i got a "c" in, im wondering if my chances of getting into a medical school is screwed because of the many "c"s?
ps. not worried about d's and f's since i can retake them.

long story short I work with 2 2 faced women at work. they got me in trouble at work about my personal life when they was the ones who ran there mouths but i got blamed for it all. Well someone told me our boss said they could take vitals right. I told them before all this crazyness started and now my boss said she never said that and I have a week to confront the 2 women that she didnt say that what and how should i tell them it was just hear say and i shouldnt of said it?

There is this guy who I like and I think he likes me back. Recently we've been talking and it's been great. The problem is that when he dosnt text me I freak out but when he does text me I don't want to talk to him. I got I text from him and thought to myself"ugh he's a little pushy I hope he's not like this all the time" but then I realized just a few hours ago I had been glued to my phone waiting for a call or text. I'm so confused. I want to talk to him but then I don't.

Breaking up with my girlfriend who still loves me

I want to break up with my girlfriend but she is still very much in love with me. We have had a conversation and are currently on a no contact break for a few days. She thinks i'll regret it and don't fully appreciate what we have (She's my first girlfriend but she's had a couple before). I do really care about her and hate hurting her. When she tells me how much she loves me, and how she doesn't want to lose me, I really struggle as it makes me love her (how many people are we going to have love us in such a way in our lives?!) and so I really doubt whether I am doing the right thing.
Our relationship isn't helped by me being away at university and when we're together, it is great. However, I really struggle when we keep go...

Special Topic in Photography

Okay, here is the thing, next semester is my last semester then I get my associates in applied science for photography. I have a minor background in psychology..and plan to go to a school like NYU for my master's in art therapy when I get older.. (if I ever reach that point..haha)
Anyways, my question is that.. I need one more photography elective and I am not fond of what is being offered to me next semester, and I rather do an independent study topic through the semester as an independent study, I just have to write a proposal and hand it in to my head professor for approval. I want to do something along with Art Therapy..but I feel I can't get that far, though I know Art Therapy is offered in a bachelors degree at a schoo...

College...what is required?

I was just curious whether colleges care that you do sports/clubs or anything like that (I'm in three clubs and community service). I play a little lacrosse, and I've done some cross country, but I was no good at long-distance running. I could probably get away with playing basketball just because I'm taller than everyone else. The problem is I think I missed tryouts...HELP!

my budgies vent

my female budgies vent looks swollen, it is brown and does not look good. The pet barn gave me some advice to try a broad spectrum antibiotic which I have done and into the second day. She is eating normal, she seems happy except for her problem. The vets around my area do not know enough about birds, in fact they killed my last budgie by giving it 2 injections and charging me $85. I am a pensioner and cannot afford these prices especially when the bird dies as a result from treatment. My friend took her budgie to the vet last week and her bird ended up with a pulled muscle in its wing from being held wrongly. all they did was clipped the wings and nails, I could have done a better job. So i was suppose to start my period on the 22nd of October and i started the 24th so i was two days late . now im 4 days into my period but the third day it was light and now today its brown? any help? im alittle confused and i took a pregnancy test because me and my boyfiend have been having sex every weekend and i was alittle worried but it was negative.. My boyfriend is very controlling. He is upset that i dated a lot of men in the past. He calls me all kinds of bad names, yells at me, says my children should know what kind of person i really am. I told him i do not like it at all. he's been doing this for 5 months. I am fed up, told him to get out. Now he's changed he's really nice. i keep telling him he'll go back to his old ways he says no. He has no place to go, i tell him we are over however i feel really bad if he ends up sleeping in his turck. Every time i go to kick him out he says i'm going to sleep in a park or in my truck. I feel so bad and take him back, i just can't get over all the bad names he's called me. I don't go anywere because if i do he'll ask me a 10000 questions as to what i did or where did i go.

Research paper about death

Hello,
I'm supposed to do a research paper for my Death and Dying class (I'm in college). I'm allowed to choose whatever I want, as long as it's about death and it's something remotely interesting that I can present to my class.
I know that I'm really interested in death in the arts (music, poetry, film, photography, etc) but I'm not sure what kinds of questions I could pose about all of these things to write a research paper?
I'm also sort of interested in the dynamics of suicide, as well as the mindset of people who are terminally ill (whether it is possible or not for them to reach some point of "acceptance" or "peace")
I'm open to lots of different ideas...

Becoming a Model

I have a lot of spare time, now that I'm done with sports and athletics. My friends say I'm pretty, so i'm considering looking for a modeling job? preferably just photography model, I do not want to be an actress or anything. I'm just lost on how to become one. I've done some thinking about this and this is my plan so far..
-get a photoshoot done at a photography place (just like people do for Senior Pictures in high school).
-send those pictures to modeling agencies nearby and see what they say.
But my problem is.. I have no modeling experience. So i'm trying to find newer agencies that will accept new models. Does anyone have any tips or advice?
Also, if I can't fin...
