cold sore after giving bj!!
today a cold sore appeared on my lip and its small and red and it looks like another one may appear next to it:( i have a boyfriend and dontthink i got it from him, and i havent been sick recently so where could i have gotten it??? could it be from giving blowjobs?? i do that sometime?? help!!

Cold soars arnt always from (i dont know how to put this) but sort of physical things. I used to get them alot because I would become excited or nervous about things and they would spring up. I learned to control my nerves and I no longer get them. IDK if this is the same thing you have or not.

While it is possible you got the Herpes Virus from giving a blow job, it is also possible it is just a cold sore. Cold sores are a form of the herpes virus that I read somewhere most of the population carry.
If you are truly concerned this is not just a cold sore then you should get tested for stds. If your sexually active in anyway it is not a bad idea to be tested in any case just for peace of mind.
