Do you think purchasing a long term care insurance is worth it?

Question Posted Friday October 28 2011, 10:46 am

Some of My relatives in both sides (mom and dad) are in nursing homes. they have history of longevity in the family, but the sad part of it is that they end up in nursing homes. Now my dad is reaching his 60s and Im kinda worried that he will lose his vigor and cant even do simple tasks.

Do you think Long term care insurance is a good investment?

well, that's part of life..and we can somehow blame it to our society. Since the cost of living increased, more and more Americans are inclined to working hard for the money, while forgetting their responsibilities in their own families.

I cant say long term care insurance is either good or bad. just like any insurance, it really depends on the person and how likely he/she needs it.

I guess this article I found can best explain this [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
