Hey, I'm 21 years old and female. I have a problem. My boyfriend of 4 years (5 October 3rd!) and I havent had sex yet. He is really not that kindof guy to ask for sex or anything. He's really patient and all we have do is makeout. We were best friends for 2 years before going out and he really respects me. I am ready to lose my virginity to him, because after 5 years of going out shouldent it be time to have some fun? lol I have been on birth control for 2 months just incase when I do ask him if he wants to have sex, he will say yes. I want to tell him I want to lose it on our anniversary but I'm really scared because how am I gonna start the conversation of sex? Alright. I have this guy bestfriend whom I have known for 2-3 years. I used to move a lot when I was younger, and this is the first time I've actually remained in one city. He's the most person that I am closest to. We used to date but we broke up, then that's when we became best friends. He moved to Austin awhile back, but we still talked everyday. I got a boyfriend that I'm in love with which I've been dating for like 6 months now. My best friend came back down from Austin for the summer. When I saw him I got mixed feelings for him, but I brushed it off. Then, he finally told me he had strong feelings for me. He's always had feelings for me. But I don't think the feeling is mutual. I love him to death, but I'd rather be with the boyfriend I have now. My best guy/friend has been chasing after me all summer. Finally, he's realized that he should just stop trying because it's getting no where except more drama and tears for the both of us. I suggested that we should just be friends, but he came out with "It's hard to be friends when I am madly in love with you. It hurts too much." So, we talked it out... and the only resort came down to completely NOT talking anymore. Basically from best of friends to nothing; not even acquaintances. I don't know if that will work out. I love him, but not in that way. I would like him as a best friend, but he says we can't do that. He says that we should stop calling each other and whatever. Im 16, and a while ago I was involved with this guy who was 18. He was a senior at my best friends school, and he was gorgeous and popular etc. I met him because he works at My gymnastics school

Now me, im invisable in my school. Im shy and no one notices me, I hide behind books and avoid talking whenever possible, but im different at gymnastics. My teammates are my best friends and im outgoing etc when im with them

When we met, I was seriously depressed about being invisable, and only my best friend knew. Now she went to school with the other kid, but she wasnt popular so he didnt talk to her.
Anyway, one day my best friend was working with him, and he told her he really thought i was pretty and kept asking questions about me and this pulled me out of my depression

Then a few weeks later we actually talked, like hed call etc, and he eventually broke my shyness and i ended up at his house in his bed making ut with him. That went on for a while, wed keep hooking up till he tried to get farther to fast. I told him to stop and he respected that then not much later he blew me off because i wouldnt sleep with him

After that I pretended to get over him quickly, but I still saw him at gymnastics, and when i worked with him hed be all over me, or when id be working out and hed be coaching, hed coach when my teammates were on the beam, but stop and watch when i was etc. He played major mind games with me, and I played them back. I went out with this other kid he goes to school with just so hed be jealous (which he was and he also checked up on me) and I made him think I hated him on perpose, though I think if id showed him I liked him I could have had him back.

Then he got fired. I took it as fate. Someone was trying to help me get over him, but it wasnt that easy. HE alone saw me when I was invisable.

Either way hes going to college in like 5 days, and I miss him so much and I cant get over him and it hasnt gotten much better over time

What should I do?

hey - aww you sound so innocent! But thats cute how you say he notice you when you were invisble. But just because you said no that you didnt wanna go all the way with him; and he got pissed that is preety bad. But to me it sounds aftawards you were tryin to play hard to get. the answer is simple; you do what you feel is right. What ever you feel comfortable with thats how far you go. People sometimes say that there gunna wait until there married because they think that, that is the most general answer. But theres to different answers to this... if your askin about how far to go with a serious relationship or just a realationship perido then, thats something you might wanna think about. cuz for that you gotta see if you have sex with your boyfriend that he wont change or break up with you; and if he really loves you then he wont. But if your singel and your just tryin to have fun.. then go ahead and do what ever ya want to the kid [ thats how i am] cuz if ya singel no one can say anything to you about you messin around .
