ill be 15 in dayz an last year i wen ta this new skool an when i tried out 4 basketball an made it this rummor got started that i had "did it" wit the coach ta make the team.. when of course i ddin
now this new year even before skool started..
there is now a rumor that i did it wit this dude i wen out wit las year named Criag when i didn an every1 belives it..
i donno what to do bc im not a hoe like that i mean he was my 1st kiss

talk to this criag guy and ask him about this rumor, like if he started or if one of his friends did. If he says yes tell him it really upset you cuz u both know it's a lie. Tell him to tell people that. I hope everything works out!

I go through rumors too! Everyone does.. except if their the people who start the rumors.. so I'll give you the advice that my cus gave me, "Hey, they're jealous of you, that's why they do that!" They're prob mad since you made the team, or you kissed that guy (who is prob very good looking :]) The best way to cope is to stay close to your friends, they're the best people to have when you're feeling awful! They make situations so much easier! If they are the ones starting the rumors, then that's what family is for! I hope the rumors die down, they aren't fun! -Ce

talk to a school counselor, or friends, or anyone and make the craig guy tell the locker room that you two didnt do it or SOMETHING. you dont deserve this.. good luck

You have a couple of choices either you can ignore it since you know that it isn't true or find the person who started the rumor and find some way to get them to confess in front of some witnesses that they started the rumor and that they made it up it wasn't true.

hey i know how you feel - theres always ALWAYS rumors about me!!! hey hun, that really sucks, you need to let rumors pass and those who believe it obviously dont matter in your life, someone obvioulsy envys you, you just gutta keep ur head on straight and remember that thats just talk, worthless people who have nothing better to do than to start a rumor, but defintly confront the person/ people starting the rumor and just dont even be a bitch about it just say "hey im sorry that you feel getting off telling rumors is a pleasure, and that you think of me as a person to do that but i honestly dont care what you think about me, i know those rumors arent true so im not worrying" , and girl i bet those rumors will soon pass by dont worry just keep smiling :)

HA what is it with people and those stupid rumors. honeslty. everyone who heard them probably realize they arent true. BUT in a pathetic attempt to be one of the crowd and not in the rumors they belivev and spread. HONESTLY people.. they dont have lives anymore. so i say. poo on them. and make friends somewhere else. make sure that when they make fun of you or something that you make it clear to them that it doesnt bother you. it really helps alot to stop.

The nest thing I can think to do is to just ignore them. But if you want it stopped now, the best way I can think of is to get to the source. I have a feeling it's one person starting this rumors, someone is clearly out to ruin your reputation. Ask around (All the people you've heard these rumors from) and find out who started the whole thing.
