In june i got in a car accident where my friend rear-ended some1...and i ended up with a spranged knee and a neck brace..well now whenever some1 gets like close to a car i start to freak out and like lose my breath...is that ok? because it was in june and its now november (link)

yes that's fine. you're just a little paranoid which is completely normal. Almost the same thing happend to my brother, and he gets like that too. But when you get older, you'll feel more relaxed and used to driving. I hope I helped! :)

should i lose weight to make a guy like me? i mean i AM little overweight and my parents think so too and ive gained like 10 pounds, so im like 15 pound overweight! so i am wondering because i think guys havent asked me out yet is becuase of this! i know 2 guys who already liked me but they thought i was funny and nice and everything.. im not wow fat, but should i lose weight now? because is this the last straw? I think that if you want to lose weight, then you should, but not just to impress a guy. But if you do, try and do it in the most healthiest way, like by cutting junk foods or exercising more. Well. I'm 14 and I have been madly in love with my neighbor ever since I moved here when I was 9. We write each other e-mails and we sometimes talk on the bus and stuff. He's 18 and he's going to be a senior this year and I'm going to be freshmen, many people that are freshmen date seniors so I don't think its the age. My mom said that he's probably just waiting until I'm older cuz I'm young but I dunno. He knows I like him because my friend would always yell out the window to him that i was in love with him. He asked me last year if he wanted to get a ride to school with him everyday this year, and I said yes. I really like him alot. Should I tell him? Or should I get a friend to ask him stuff?! I dunno what to do. PLease help!! I rate!!

It's ok to act different around your b/f. My friends say I act "bubbly" around mine. Hmmm.... If you don't like him being mean to others, then tell him to lighten up and hopefully he'll understand.

I have this boyfriend who is really tight with my best friend. My boyfriend also has a best friend who used to go out with my best friend. I know it's confusing, but all 4 of us used to be so tight and everything. Now it's only me and my boyfriend because my best friend & my boyfriends best friend broke up and everythings so messed up. This is like Friends or the O.C. they just need some time apart for now. Maybe they will both find someone new to go out with. And then you'll have 6 couples instead of 4. talk to this criag guy and ask him about this rumor, like if he started or if one of his friends did. If he says yes tell him it really upset you cuz u both know it's a lie. Tell him to tell people that. I hope everything works out!

whenever i go, they just check eyes, ears, weight, height. but some doctors are different, so i can't say you'll be off the hook right away. Most likely they don't check the privates. But they may ask questions though.

I'm a 15 year old girl and I think I might be an alcoholic. My family has no idea about this because I always sneak whatever I can get and my friends sometimes supply me with it. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm always anxious for anything alcoholic and it's driving my insane. I don't want to go to rehab or make my parents think I need serious help! What should I do? you should ask your parents opinion on the topic about alcohol, be like "i was watching oprah and they had this girl on there who was 14 who drank a lot" what are your thoughts on that? and say like "if i was ever like that, would you help me get through this"

i've been playing the guitar for almost 2 years now and i'm pretty good at it... my friends want to start a band but they need a bass player... i was thinking about becoming a bass player. has anyone here played guitar and then started playing bass? is there a big difference? how hard is it to play? and how badly will i get calisis on my fingers? My brother did that, he said it really isn't that hard to learn. He had to take lessons for the guitar, but he taught himself how to play bass. Good luck! :)

Ok, My brother had a gilfriend when they broke up she said bad things about him to his friends and now he doesn't have any friends, which he had a lot of them. He was also a popular guy and he is about to turn 20, but I need help he is very depressed to have no one as a friend I feel very sorry for him. He should tell his friends that his girlfriend was just saying bad things about him because she was mad about the break up. And none of those things must be true, so if his real friends just listen to his side of the story then hopefully they will take him back. I wish the best of luck to you both!

Well, if you go out with him, he might dump you for the same reason. Would you want to get hurt? And how would your friend feel? (even though I know it was only one day). She still might be upset with the idea.

My best friend and i are practically sisters and now my mom mite have to move into another state because of her job in the next 2 years. I kinda want to move because where we live- everything is boring and nothing ever happens it seems like- and our house is teenie tiny and i wish we had a new one- and we can afford one- but i really don't want to leave her. We grew up together and we are like all each other ever had!! My parents are asking me about my opinion on this and i don't know what to tell them. It will be hard to leave a friend, especially someone soo close. But of course you'll try to see her as much as possible, I'm sure you'll stay in touch too! But it's always good to try a new enviroment. Like to meet new people. I hope I helped.

i would cut them, it might not be comfortable wearing them like that. OR maybe you should just buy capris, so that way you'll have jeans and capris and won't have to worry about being dorky.

I have two horses that are the BEST of friends. You can't take one out of the pen without the other. They are stuck like glue, but one is 42 years old! really he is! and the other is at least 30. When one passes away, do you think we should put the other one down? I mean they are both already really old and I know that one would be in MISERY without the other. I hate to sound like a geek, but in the story "where the red fern grows" its about 2 hunter dogs who are also best friends. and when one died from being attacked, the other dog died of a broken heart. So maybe that could happend to your horses. I hope they stay healthy though! :)

question for everybody that asks questions on advicenators: How come you dont rate somebody after they answer your questions? it doesnt take a lot of effort and its a quick little thank you for their response. It helps the advice giver to understand how well they answer certain questions. I think everybody should rate out of pure politeness...Just curious as to why most people dont..?? (link)
