okay school starts in 3 weeks and i wanna loose as much weight as i can before it...i weigh 105 to 107 and i wanna loose it! i need to loose on my thighs too they're pretty big. i excersise by going to the gym i only go like 2 to 3 times a week and play bball...what're some best ways to loose weight? how much could one loose in one week? by doing what? help and thanx!

play basket ball: it builds leg muscles and gives u an aerobic work out(burns 354 calories)
go boogie bording at the beach: works back muscles and abs(burns 177 calories)
go canoeing at some lake: buids musles in shoulders, upper back, bieceps,triceps, and forarms.(burns 236 calories)
golfing: walking the five mile corse helps,carrying clubs works upper body.(burns 236 calories)
jogging around the block: a great calorie burner that tones legs(burns 413 calories)
sit-ups:gives a flat stomach(burns 266 calories)
tennis:tones arms and leg muscles(burns 413 calories)

I weigh 135 and im only 5'4. im not really fat either. i too have big thighs.. and i still cant find any ways to loose fat in that area.. I wouldnt recomend loosing weight for a someone ur size.. unless ur short.. then ur not fat and u dont really need to loose weight...

Take it from a person who is so underweight that people don't think you eat and try to feed you all the time. To keep the weight and looking healthy, all you have to do is cut out all the junkfood (if you eat it), eat healthy food, exercise 3 to 4 times a week, and stuff like that. Dont_Fall_Twice answered Monday August 9 2004, 7:38 am: If you're uncomfortable with your body, you need to get into a rutine.. not just 3 weeks before... But some ideas to help is maybe jog or swim laps? And eat healthy. Eat 3 meals a day, and if you snack, snack healthy. Try not to snack so much at night. And maybe before y ou go to bed do lunges, legraises, pushups, or crunches. Best wishes :)

Cut out a lot of breads and pastas (they are full of fat u dont need) and eat more veggies and fruit! Working out is great and 2-3 times a week is plenty. If you still want to work out more at home then do crunches, walk a mile, lift weights (dont have weights then feel 2 liter bottles up w/ water and lift them! it sounds stupid but it works) Just be careful and dont make your goals unreachable! Also make sure your doing this for the right reasons, for yourself not because someone told you too. Oh yeah and for more info on dieting check out my column, I answer lots of diet questions.
