I am 14, female int he 9th grade. I'm also usually a straight A student. My sister graduated 2nd in her class. She recieved an full scholorship to the college she attends. My brother was expelled in 11th grade. My parents had stressed how important grades were, I agreed to an extent. Working my butt off to earn straight A' and a high GPA. This Marking Period. I am in Algebra 2(normally a 11th grade class) and French 1. I was doing okay in Algebra untill I failed a quiz and recieved a 80% on a unit test. This brings my grade to 88.5%, the MP ends in 3 days. no way i can bring that up. in french, i got a 70% on the Unit test. I failed most the tests in their. But my grades were usually up. Now I face the problem of having 2B's (a possible C) on my usually perfect report card. I told my mother this afternoon and she shook her head and simply said "Shit *insert name*". She then turned and walked away.
I WORK MY BUTT OF IN SCHOOL. I'm taking all Honors and the most difficult classes. I can't be perfect like my sister, I can't always get straight A's. How do I tell my parents this respectfully. ??I'm sorry It's such a long question.:-/ Help
First off: dont your b's round up to A's since theyre honors...? thats how it is at my school...? And just tell your parents that you ARE not you sister! and that at least youre not your brother! You do better than normal kids all accross america! and tell them that you will bring it up for next time, and that you tried your hardest and thats all that matters! and stress the fact that this is just one time. And by the time the semester comes you can bring everything up, and tell them that youre gonna talk to the teachers and ask for extra credit (and do that too) then your parents will know that ure really affected by you grades and you want to do well in school! Everything will be fine... this is just one time! And tell your parents not to cuss at you its not healthy for the child...

Are there such things as a Junior Olympics? This girl on my basketball team claims she went to Athens for the Olympics, and since she's only 13/14 she would be too young to play for the USA Junior/Regular Woman's basketball olympic teams. My brother says that there is probably one for kids, but it's only a sideshow and no one really talks about it. I don't disagree but I just want to check it out and see if there was one...

Ok, im 7ft tall, and of course a guy. It seems like every time i approach a girl shes always so afraid of me. She never wants to talk to me and hold a convo. w/ me. When people do talk to me, they always ask how tall i am, then sit and stare. Why are girls so afraid of me? and how do you suggest i cure this problem, and maybe advise on how to keep the convo going w/o it dropping off at how big my feet are.

I had sex with the same guy as my best friend's sister has. I just didn't know until after I had that she had already been with him. Well.. I talked to the girl he was with a few days later.. and she told me he had an STD. She said he had Herpes in his mouth. She said she was makin out with him.. and he had a sore on his lip and he said it was herpes and not to tell anyone.
She went to a clinic to get checked today. Can u still get herpes from someone if neither of u have open sores in your mouths? And should i get checked? or find out if she has it and then get checked.. I dont want to have to tell my mom i had sex with him, but im still scared i might have it.
Also, my BFF had sex with him the night after i did (eww) and she got checked too.. should I wait see if either of them have it.. or just go ahead and tell my mom and get an appointment at a clinic?

I think you should get checked, but if u have herpes it doesnt matter if u get checked today or tommorow! so i think u should go to a planned parenthood or the health department in ur town and have a truley confidential meeting with someone who will check u and then see if u have it, then there u can get medicine (if u have money) and ur mother will never know... but if u dont have money and need moms help im sure shell respect the fact that u had enough sence to get checked... shouldnt have had sex! but thats in the past now i just hope everthing is alright and u r too! :)
Well...yesterday after school my friend Aaron and I talked while we were waiting to get picked up from school...he brought up my ex Robbie who is his Aaron's bestfriend...usually he doesn't...Well I decided to ask if he still went to HMMS and Aaron was just staring at the ground wouldn't look at me and kept smiling saying "No...well I don't know" & then I was like well does he go to SV then? and Aaron wouldn't look at me just staring at the ground smiling...so we dropt that subject...then I get home...and I decide to IM mine and my ex's friend, Jennifer...well she said Robbie told her he's either going to Byrd (My school) or Griffin (My bestfriend's school)...Well I haven't seen him at Byrd and my friend hasn't seen him at Griffin...you think Aaron knows something I don't know?!

im 14..female and i weigh 124 lbs...i hav curves definatly...well im nto happy with my body..i want to be size 00 and small...all the guys like small gurls..i look like a cow in a bathing suit and am starting to get cellulate on thighs/butt...i feel fat in anything i wear now...my point is is that im thinkin about going annorexic...bc i have a really pretty face and a ugly body if i go annorexic i will be pretty...maybe not full blown annorexic..but like not alot of food...a little bites here and there...but not alot @ all...and not makeing myself throw up..just not eating....how soon do u think i will lose weight...plz dont say "dont do this blah blah" bc i just want to know how much weight do u think i will lose in 2wks? plz answer that ?!!
R u crazy!! U cant control anorexia, it something that just happens most people who r do not even realize they r because its a natural thing, and going anorexic will not help u loose weight ur body stores the fat it needs after about three days of not eating, becuase it realizes that its gonna need it later. Also, stopping ur food intake (i.e. nutrients) would make u all gross and turn ur fingernails grey and ur hair will start to fall out and u will feel all weak and tired. dont go anorexic! that would be soo dumb! if u want to loose wieght too badly then u should eat salads and lots of ice water... dont eat nething after 7 in the evening, drink a big glass of ice water before sleeping so ur metabolism will be going as u sleep... then walk everyday for at least thrity minutes walk ur dog or go with ur mom or something... also u could do squats and sit-ups every evening so rather than just skin n bones ull be toned too... lift arm weights... if ur looking for more of a cardio workout (sweating, heart beating) then u can dance for thirty minutes non-stop along with walking thrity minutes, after two weeks u should see a dramatic change... it would have been helpful if u would have givin ur hieght! But girl honestly most guys i know like curves and dont like no double 0 girls... so think about that and u should be going to highschool soon right or already r and older guys like curves tooo... but just try some of the things i said and if doesnt seem to work then im me and we will figure something out but dont physically/emotionally hurt urself if ne anorexic heard what u were trying to do they would want to kill u becuase they know what an awful disease it is to overcome thats right a disease! so make good choices! hope ive helped...
okay so recently ive been hanging out with some friends that i wouldnt normally hang out with them out of school or sports. They smoke pot and they talk about ti all the time. since ive been hanging out with them i have been wanting to smoke it but i know its not the right choice. What do you think i should do?
Theyre not forcing u, and if they do then theyre not really good freinds! Pot is bad for u. u shouldnt do it it will make u regret it im not saying to stop hangin out with ur friends but u dont hafta smoke pot to be with them.. thats obvious becuz ur already friends... so u make the good choice! good luck be smart!

there r like every flavor u could think of especially in the fruits... but flavored condoms and dont normally work their quality is poor and they break easily so id suggest if u were thinking about using one.. dont cuz they dont work very well at all...
