Well, you could always write a poem if that's your kind of thing. There's many ways to say I love you. Maybe you just need to find your niche. I always had a hard time saying sweet things to guys as well. I could just never think of things on the spot. I started writing a few poems and giving guys cards. For me it wasn't that I didn't have anything sweet to say, I just needed some time to think about it. Maybe it's that way for you. Don't worry about sounding corny or stupid. Just try to think of different ways of saying how much you care. You don't always have to think of sweet things to say. You could always DO sweet things for him. Or even the simplest, "Wow you look really nice today," will be ok.

please clarify a few things for me about the birth control pill (whether it being a mini pill or the regular pill):
(i know its better to take it at a later age, but i wouldnt desire being a 17 year old mother!)
my mum once told me that if you go on the pill at a young age, you are ment to be taken off it after 20 years usage. if this is true..why?
it can cause inflamed veins in your legs: is this true?
i know some advantages/disvantages of the pill: increae/decrease acne, gain wight, change in moods (depression etc), remember to take it every day, decreases menstural cramps and bleeding and can protct you against diseases such as Pelvic inflammatory disease

this seems like the safest birth control method. i dont want to risk damaging my fertility and would like to control my fertility in the future ..if you DO have to be taken off it after 20 years(i'll be 37...a long way off..and i hope to be married with children by then.)

Well you should make an appointment with a doctor to discuss your options. They can give you loads more info on the subject. I'm not sure if you can do it without a parent, but you might be able to just talk to them about it without a parent. That was probably it for me. I took orthotricyclin.......the ortho low is better for people though. There's tons of different kinds out there though. So, just talk to your doc and your mum about it. If I were you, I would go to the nearest salon that does eyebrow waxing and ask their opinion. It's bad to just do it all on your own. Some of the products they sell over the counter aren't the greatest and can have weird effects on your body. Like once I bought something to "lighten" the hair that I wanted lightened and it took away the hair completely! Just ask the nearest beauty salon about what would be your options, because there's so many different things out there that it's hard to know which one is the best choice. Salon's usually do a pretty good job waxing and lightening unwanted hair. Good luck!

Hi all. I'm soon to be interviewed regarding the link between drinking a lot, and taking sexual risks. This might mean going further than you wanted/planned, not using protection, etc - but only while you've been drinking.
My interview is going to be specifically about teenagers, so I thought I would ask the younger people on here for their input. Do you think there is a link? How strong do you think it is?

I think that there really is a link between drinking a lot and sexual experimentation. Drinking loosens your body and mind up, so to speak. So, you do things that you want to do, but on a normal day you never would. You "indulge" in pleasure. I think it is a very strong link. That's why when you're drinking and with a group of friends you should be careful about how much you drink. Hope I helped!

ok, the other day i was speaking to my cousins mate online (him and my cousin are 13 im 14) and my cousin's mate (alex) he gave me some boys email address and said that he was in his class at school so i added him and he came online and said who is this blah blah blah...

Well if you are never going to meet him, I don't see the problem with talking to him. Besides if you hypothetically ever met him, he might not be who you thought. You could possibly like him more by talking to him, but if you have a problem with not meeting him, then I suggest that you try to stay just friends for now. Keep talking on msn and such, but tell him that you like him, but the chances of ever meeting are slim to none and you would just like to stay friends for now. That way he knows where he stands and there's no miscomunications about your friendship. Of course that's just what I would do if I were you, but it's up to you to decide what you really want to do. I also believe in God or some sort of spiritual entity, but I don't really see how it's possible that a woman could be created from a rib and a man from dirt. Now, lately, (okay, for the past month) I haven't gotten a single email. At first I thought it was just because no one had sent me any emails but a little bit after that I thought it was strange because usually I get spam once a day around.
I tried sending myself an email from another computer, and I never got it. I use Outlook Express, if this helps. How do I fix this problem?

Try getting another email. It depends on what email server you are using. Like Yahoo or Msn. Sometimes I don't get emails for a long time and it's just the server. Also you might try checking your spam folder, because sometimes messages accidentally get sent to the spam folder.

Yes actually it could spread if you kissed someone. That's only if it's a cold sore though! Also if someone eats or drinks after you it could spread, but just because you kissed someone it doesn't mean that it WILL spread. Just wait and see if it develops a white or yellow puss head on it and that's a cold sore. Just go to your local pharmacy or even wallmart and pick up a bottle of Lysin. It really does make cold sores go away. It's no problem! TTYL!

He could have popped your cherry, but you can also bleed if you were too rough. If the bleeding does not stop in a few days I would go see a doctor just to be safe. No it does not necessarily mean that you have an STD and generally you get them from kissing someone, oral sex, drinking after someone, eating after someone, but sometimes you get them because the virus is just floating in the air. I get them sometimes, my whole family does, but we do not have STDs. Also, besides abreva, a great pill you can buy over the counter is called Lysin. You take 2 pills when you first notice that it is a cold sore and 1 the following days after until it goes away. You might just have a pimple developing or it could also be a cold sore. If it develops a white bubble type scab and it itches or burns, it is most likely a cold sore, but it could be a pimple that has not gotten a head yet.

me and my boyfriend have been together for about 2 years now and are competely in love. last year around this time he got into a lot of trouble involving drugs and was arrested. ovbiously my mom was not too happy about me being around him but she gave him another chance to make everything okay. everything was going well until a month ago when he relapsed. his mom called mine and told her what happened, so i was forbidden to talk to him or see him. ovbiously, i didnt listen and was continuing to communicate with him. last week when i stayed home sick, he stopped by and brought me soup and all that kind of stuff, and everything was the best its ever been with me and him. we're closer now than ever before. the other day my mom caught me talking to him and everything blew up. we got in a huge fight about how i lied to her and she couldnt trust me anymore and even called him to tell him never to call me and respect her wishes. i was so upset last night that i couldnt sleep and snuck out and ran 2 miles to his house at 1 o'clock in the morning (his mom loves me so it wasnt really an issue) i just needed to see/talk to him and his mom. my problem is this: i cannot stop talking to him. I am so in love and not talking to him would kill me. I dont want to disrespect my mom anymore though either... my boyfriend is going to rehab and a lot of other programs and really for the first time getting his act together. i dont know how to explain to my mom that i need him in my life, hes my best friend and the only person who completely understands who i really am. we need eachother. but my mom just says im too young, and need to let it go. she doesnt get that i wont, and if i want it bad enough, ill just wait for it. should i talk to her more and is there anything i can tell her to make her understand..... ahhhhh
Well honestly I would talk to your mom more about it....depending on your age, there is not much you can do without disrespecting your moms wishes. Keep trying to talk to her about it and maybe she will come around. If you really loved him you might have to let him go for at least a little while. Maybe he will stop doing drugs, just so he can be with you. Also you might be able to set down with your mom, boyfriend, and his mom and have like a group "meeting" or something. Well you could eat eggs. There are also many protein shakes out there to choose from. Also make sure you get a multivitamin that has lots of calcium (if you arent going to drink milk) and iron (to replace your meat). I am not a Vegetarian, but i have looked into becoming one as well.

I'm 14/f and I'm a tomboyish girl. I mean I still wear girlyish clothes and shop and gossip and what not but I'm not the ones that are prude or wear pounds of make up or something.

Well honestly there's nothing wrong with being a tomboy or getting along better with guys than girls. Some guys are intimidated by that, some guys are pretty comfortable with it, and some guys will just always think of you as "one of the guys." It just depends on who you're going for. All guys are different. I think most guys would think it's pretty cool considering they don't have to put up with all that superficial and emotional crap that most women put them through. Girls that are tomboys are usually pretty outspoken and comfortable being themselves. Don't worry about what others think. I think you're great just the way you are!

Well everyone has hair everywhere, but it's a matter of whether or not it's dark. Well shaving it wouldn't be too good unless it's your arms or your legs. There's not much you can do about the hair around your..hole because everyone has it and to try to get rid of it would just be very bad! Whatever you do don't try those creams or lotions that say they get rid of hair because the outcome is very painful! You get these rash bumps that itch like crazy and believe me you don't want that! If you're extremely uncomfortable with stomach, arm, leg, pubic hair then shaving or waxing are the best bets. They're painful while you're getting used to it sometimes, but if you do it right then you don't have to worry about those pesky little red bumps! Also, people should accept you for who you are and not what you look like. Some guys find hairiness attractive. If a guy really loved you when you have sex with them then the wouldn't care! I think that maybe you need to talk to your girlfriend. Ask her what she's comfortable with. Set down some rules, you know? Both of you should voice your concerns to eachother and let eachother know what's comfortable for the both of you. She probably is doing this because she loves you, but she also is enthusiastic about it because she wants to experiment with you. That's a good thing. Well I say you should drive down there when he graduates and talk to him. Tell him it's either you or her and it can't be both. Tell him you're fed up with this ping pong game and that you're not playing it anymore. If it doesn't work out between you two then you could always be friends with him.
