my boyfriend always says really nice things to me and then i dont know what to say back because i cant think of anything.he asked me yesterday why i never said anything sweet to him,i told i dunno because i can never find something really sweet to say to. i really luv him and i wanna make him happy

Well, you could always write a poem if that's your kind of thing. There's many ways to say I love you. Maybe you just need to find your niche. I always had a hard time saying sweet things to guys as well. I could just never think of things on the spot. I started writing a few poems and giving guys cards. For me it wasn't that I didn't have anything sweet to say, I just needed some time to think about it. Maybe it's that way for you. Don't worry about sounding corny or stupid. Just try to think of different ways of saying how much you care. You don't always have to think of sweet things to say. You could always DO sweet things for him. Or even the simplest, "Wow you look really nice today," will be ok.

Hey. Just say how you feel. If hes making you happy tell him, or if he looks handsome let him know. Boys might not seem like it but they are also very insecure and they need a self esteem boost sometimes. So that means you could just tell him that he looks really good in the shirt hes wearing. Its little things like that boys look to girlfriends to say. -helen
