me and me boyfriend again
i dont know what to get my boyfriend for his birthday or just something as a gift to him when i feel like it. i just need some ideas. he luvs to play guitar and he wants a new electric gutar and i was thinking about saving up my money for that and then giving it all to him, but i dunno i wanna get him random gifts cuz i didnt get him that much on valentines day

If you want to get him a guitar, make sure you will have enough $ before hand (sometimes you have to order it weeks before) and ask his parents if that is appropiate (his parents might have gotten him one, or they might not be comfortable with such expensive gifts)
If you want another meaningful idea, how about a treasure chest? I made a treasure chest filled with inside jokes, notes, little gifts,meaningful items, letters, trinkets, and anything else that was important for a special guy, and he loved it. He also really appreciated all the hard work I put into it. He keeps it in his room on display even though its hot pink (which says a lot about a straight guy, lol) As long as you put thought and effort into it, it will be the best gift ever.

Well personally, i think buying him a guitar is spending too much on him. you could go to a music store and see what he's into... what kind of guitar, etc. (playing guitar is kinda vague). while you're there he can show off his guitar playing skills. maybe he'll see a book or guitar accessory that he likes and you can go back and get it for him for his birthday... then you'll know that he likes it and it's not so random. if you need anything else, lemme know. <3

my best friend dates a guitar player and she did one of the neatest things...
she took a picture of the two of them and framed it and glued guitar pics all around the frame. on each pic, she took a white out pen and wrote short phrases, (nicknames for each other, etc.) on each one. it turned out great and meant a lot.

Hey. Well first how long have you to been together because if its only been a short time then getting him that guitar may seem like you're moving too fast. But if you to have been together for awhile then saving up to get him a guitar is a good idea. You might also want to maybe save up and get him a gift certificate to the guitar shop so he can pick out what he wants. $100-150.00 is a good limit for a birthday present. You could also make a "memory box" of ticket stubbs from movies u saw or pictures of you two. Maybe make him a card it would show that you put a lot of thought into his birthday. You could also make him his favorite dinner for his birthday and maybe cupcakes or something. I hope I helped. -helen
