I'm sick of being 2nd!

Question Posted Saturday January 6 2007, 9:48 pm

So here's the thing, the guy i've been in love with for 4 years lives 2 hours away from me but we have such a strong relationship and everything, he's my ex but we decided to see other people because of the distance thing. we fight constantly and sometime don't talk for weeks but i guess in my opinion that makes us stronger. he's kind of with a girl and i am so sick of him being with her than calling me and telling me he loves me when hes saying the same lines to someone else when it should just be one person. he complaing and complains about her and she treats him like shit, i'm not saying this out of jealousy or anything like. anyway, he keeps going back to her and then back to me. non stop back and forth, back and forth. i feel like complete shit, im not sure what to do. i think he might be doing this because he's not "with" me (the distance thing) and hes using her until he can get to me, i get my license in july and he graduates this year, i just need some advice. please help.

My dear...WHERE is your sense of self...WHERE is your self esteem???
Its time to take your power back and direct your life the way you want it to be...not be the plaything of someeone who cant decide who he wants to be with.
Its really very very simple.STOP making yourself so available...if he is meant to be yours he will come around. ( I say this from experience...I once put myself through a similar situation to yours, and then finally made the break. I then met someone who adores and respects me, as you will) SO ..have some courage, be a brave person and be the goddess of your own life! Then you will be open to meeting someone more appropriate...dont forget that there are about 6 squillon people in the world for you to choose from!

Well I say you should drive down there when he graduates and talk to him. Tell him it's either you or her and it can't be both. Tell him you're fed up with this ping pong game and that you're not playing it anymore. If it doesn't work out between you two then you could always be friends with him.
