how is it that god created man/woman? i believe in god, but i just dont believe what he did. i wish i knew more. will someone plez clue me in. thanks a lot

By definition, God can do anything. That includes creating a primordial man from mud, and a woman from one of the man's ribs. However, if you think that sounds like a pretty improbable story, you're not alone. It certainly seems to ME that an all-powerful God wouldn't really bother to go through all that trouble when he could simply finger-snap human beings into existence.
When it comes to getting answers about God, you'll find millions of opinions, plenty of anecdotal evidence, lots of supposition and philosophical ideas... and zero confirmed facts. I personally find that the more I learn about the world and the universe, the more irrelevant the idea of God becomes. It was about twelve years ago that I became convinced that the God of the Bible was no more real than Zeus or Apollo or Quetzalcoatl. But that's me, and atheism doesn't work for everyone.
It is perfectly acceptable to believe in God without believing in the Bible, if that is what you find makes the most sense to you. Remember that the Bible was written not by God, but by human beings, and that means they could have been wrong.

I'm not really sure I believe in this either. I also believe in God or some sort of spiritual entity, but I don't really see how it's possible that a woman could be created from a rib and a man from dirt. I believe in the more scientific approach, because it seems more possible to me. But as the saying goes:
Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib. Not from his feet to be walked on, not from his head to be superior, but from his side to be equal, under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved.

God made adam from dirt. Dirt lirreraly means Dirty Boy. After he made adam god told him he could make a perfect female for him who would cook clean and do anything he wanted. Adam naturaly said okay, God then said it would cost him, a leg and an arm. Adam (being as cheap as he is) said... what can i get for a rib?

god created adam and then created eve from the bone of adam. usually people want these detailed explanations to how god came about and all this other stuff. honestly, a lot of it no one will have a straight answer to. if you want more answers, ask me more detailed questions if you want. :)
