I have a new hamster. When she is on her wheel, it is really loud. It is keeping everyone up and I was wondering if there was anything I can do. I am going to try to find a different wheel, but I am not sure if there are any quiet ones out there. Does anyone know what I can do for right now, until I can find a new wheel?

i have a hamster and he was the same wheel sometimes some oil or vinger something like that do it mabey about once a week then after about 1 month of that try doping it once a monthe or whenever needed

My dog has this giagantic bump on his forehead. The vet said that it was a siste (sp?) but it seems worse. Every time it gets bigger, he gets smaller, like skinnier. Is it affecting his eating habits? (link)

This isn't exactly pets, but it's the closest one.
In my neighborhood, a stray dog keeps wandering around. It's eating grass and the fur around the joints is gone. I feel really bad for the dog, but my mom won't let me take him in. Everytime I go inside to get a number for an animal shelter, he runs away. I need an idea on what to do. (link)

i want to get a hamster but i am not aware of anything. what kind of cage should i be getting (please give me like a name) how often to i have to clean the cage, how do i clean the cage? what kind of hamster is the least likely to bite? which hamster is the cutest? do i get a dwarf or regual hamster? whats the difference? thx (link)

u should get a big roomy cage with lots of thing to play with + exersize. clean it once a week. you do this by vacuming out all the bedding and poop and old food which you have to change every day and giving it clean water. i would say a shorthared reg. hamster would be the best choice also the cutest it rarely bites too. if it is black name it midnight . that is what i named mine even though its not black did this b/c it is up at midnight every night on its wheel. base the name on its personality hope i helped

my parents finally let me have a pet, but they said it has to be quiet and not stink too bad. i wanted something i could really play with, you know take on walks or something. Will rate good.

i would choose a pug but when people walk by they can be a little over protected and my bark until you yell at them to stop they can only go on walks for a little while b/c they can get overheated easilly but are great at playing tug-a-war. i would also suggest a chiuahhu mini

ok what is the best kind of pet for a starting out couple who just moved in together and are planning on getting married? my fiance works days and i do too. we get home typically him at 5 me at 3. and we leave in the mornings at like 6. we both love all kinds of animals, and want to get a pet to share our lives with since we are not ready for kids yet. what kind of pet would be the best pet to get. we are not allergic to anything and if you are just going to say "cat" or "dog" please specify a breed and why so that we can be educated about it before we make our desicion. thank you so much and i promise to rate every answer i get! i don't know if anyone has ever had dwarf hamsters, but i do and yesterday i was cleaning out the cage and i saw three little pink things in the nest and it turned out one of my hamsters had babies. All three of the hamsters are female, i've checked and the breeder checked so i don't know what happened. i thinhk she was pregnant before we got her because we've only had them for a little while. Anyways, i was wondering if there is anything special I should do to take care of them? or does the mother do it herself? i really have no idea what to do. Ok well im moving and we are finally buying a house. My parents said that we could buy 2 dogs a dog that stays small and a larger dog maybe like a retriever or something. well i get to choose what kind of small dog we want and i need some help, any ideas? also any ideas for names?

Okay I am 18/f and I have a wonderful boyfriend. He's 22 and he lives about 1 hour from me because he moved that far to work. He comes to visit me every weekend and calls me every night. We have alot of fun and talk about everything. We have been dating on anf off for 3 years now and are planning on getting married in about 1 1/2. Recently at my work I noticed this guy flirting with me alot, and well I do the same. I saw it as harmless, I would joke with him and stuff and he would back. He had a girlfriend at the time too, but just the other day he walked over to me and pushed me against the wall and said 'watsup babe' and laughed. I found it funny at first but a little odd, then I found out he broken things off with his girlfriend partly because of me. He also slipped me his phone number in my work folder and the other day I saw him he asked me to come to his apartment. I really find him attractive(he looks like the lead singer from my chemical romance) and really like him, I only want to be friends with him because I love my boyfriend so much and wouldnt ever cheat. But when Im around the guy at work Im much more open and talkative then I am with my actual boyfriend. Im just asking if its wrong to be friends with a guy that likes me in a way that my boyfriend wouldnt find appealing? (link)

My dogs just chased a Ups man (lol) and he ran for his life. I got my dogs calmed down and I told him I was very sorry. But what can I do to prevent this in the future? I have 2 House Dogs (that stay outside!) and 1 other 'old' dog that bit a boy one time. So what Can I do?? Thanks! (link)

if she is really sick and there is no way she can get better and you dont want it to suffer i would ssuggest putting it to sleep. i know it seems sad but i recently had gone through with this and it is sad but it is the best deciscin for the animal b/c it wont suffer. send me feedback and plz i like high ratings

I NEED A HORSE!!!! i love horses and i really want one.my friens tory got a horse last summer. my mom said its a posibility to get one.i was dreaming every night about having a horse after that.they havent said anything about it and win i bring horses up they allways change the subject.im sorry of making this so long but i am in need of your help.
we also need more money.can i get money out of my UGMA account(uniform gift to minor account)?
so my question is, how can i get my mom to buy me a horse?

well you can do some work with your friends horse to make sure you are positive b/c sometimes they can be dangerous and you can get hurt if they throw you off. anyway tell your parents about the work you did after 2 weeks of doing it and ask them to speak with your friend or his or hers parents so they can see what a good job they did . hope i helped

The other day my friend and I found a turtle in the woods in my backyard. He was by a snake that looked like it was going to have the turtle for dinner. So my friend and I took the turtle and kept him in an empty fish tank in my garage. Since turtles carry lots of dieseases ; its from the wild ; and I`m sure he`s sad// lonley I`m going to release him tomorow. My question is where do I release him ? My dad has a big pond full of fish in our backyard && I wanted to put him by the pond, but would it just be better to put him all the way in the back of the woods again ? thnkss guys. (link)

well it depends on the type of turtle if it has sharp claws it is a gopher turtle witch are endangerd so you would need to release it right away in the very back of the woods.if it has webed feet with claws it is a water turtle so you would need to release it near the pond. i hope i helped and thank you for saving the turtle.

Omg, my dog got skunked! I got home from dance and me and my mom found out she got skunked after my dad let her outside. From the looks of it, she got sprayed right in the face, and she's pacing around, because she doesn't know what to do. It smells more like rotten onions rather than a skunk. Me and my mom could smell the skunk when we got home. I feel so bad for her. We don't know what to do. Is there anything we can do. We're going to try to get her a bath at Petsmart as soon as possible, so don't suggest a bath, it's already being done. Ok thanks!!!! (link)

Ok, well I came home from school today and found my cat behind one of our landscaping trees, so I called his name, and he kind of looked up, but didn't come, which was REALLY unusual, so I knew something was wrong. Well, I took him inside, and kind of checked him out, to see if he was ok. I think I found what's wrong: in his right ear, I can see a little blood, and there's also a bit of dried blood below his ears on his fur. When I tried to touch it, he flinched, but when I touched his other ear, he was fine. So I'm pretty sure it's his ear. But he won't eat or move much at all. Right now, he's behind the rocking chair in the corner, not really moving. I'm scared, because I've had him for about 9 years, and I recently lost a dog who was only 7, and I can't bear to lose my other pet. I'm thinking he either got in a fight or got attacked by another animal. (he's an outdoor cat). My question is, does anyone know what's wrong with him? Is it really bad that he hurt his ear? I'm taking my dog to the vet tomorrow to get her sutures (sp?) removed, should I take my cat too? I tried calling both my parents, but they didn't answer. I'm really scared, what should I do? you should definatly take your cat too and get the best care for it if you are really worried i hope you leave a messag on your parents phone and tell thm right away when one of them gets home.its good you really care that much hope i helped
