dntletitgo2urhead answered Thursday September 1 2005, 7:58 pm: Well I have both. And I personally think that a puppy is the better choice because it is a living thing and is always there for you. They can give you unconditional love whenever you're feeling down. They love you no matter what you do. And since you have a computer already, you don't really NEED a laptop. I would definetly choose the puppy =) Good luck [ dntletitgo2urhead's advice column | Ask dntletitgo2urhead A Question ]
dancesnrain answered Monday August 29 2005, 3:21 pm: Well... which would you rather have??? If you already have a computer, then go with a puppy... but if you'd rather have the laptop... then get it... I'd choose the puppy though... but only because I'm a huge animal lover. haha ;)
Mishizzle answered Monday August 29 2005, 3:00 am: Okay before I tell you this I have a big fettish for animals!Think about it this way you don't have to worry about costly matenince things like fire walls, virus shields, internet, spyware etc if you get a dog. If your upset you can run to a dog. He'll be like your best friend! And puppys are just so adorable anyways so I'm all up for the puppy! If you want a laptop... see my recommendation is to build your own computer. Just buy the parts and assemble it. It cost my boyfriend only $750 for his computer and it has 2000k RAM, an average computer has about 250 RAM, RAM is the speed. So save your money and build a snazzy computer too! kait_1991 answered Friday August 26 2005, 3:25 pm: ok think on it this way. a puppy is for life and dat means u need to take it out in rain hair or snow so if you are commited to do that and clean after it and train it then get but i would get a lap top cause you dont need to do any of those things lol and you can have fun on the computer and dont have to plan your social life around it like you would with a dog.
Emily88 answered Friday August 26 2005, 3:06 pm: although a laptop would most definitely be a lot less work and will be a big help for school and such... a puppy gives you sooo much joy that technology can't. i would definitely go for the puppy.
orphans answered Friday August 26 2005, 2:50 pm: well first off: you should DECIDE wich one you would want...
for a puppy think about
1) a cute little puppy that will last forever, and you dont have to scan for viuris'
2) all of your friends will be impressed
3) you will have more fun and get exersize
4)you will be giving a puppy a life that it will love you for (if stores dont sell them they kill them)
about the labtop:
1) you can always save up your allowence for one after you buy the puppy
2) they are not worth it, after one year, they slow down, theres no memory left. all of the memories should be in your head about you buying the puppy.
3) it wont do you any good if the power goes out, no one would be on becasue they lost their power.
4) it only lasts 1 hour off the charger
5) they can range up to over 600 bucks
AdInA answered Friday August 26 2005, 2:08 pm: if you are responsible, i say you get a puppy. it's a lot of hard work though because you have to take care of him, feed him, give him attention, etc. if you don't want to deal with that kind of responsiblity get a lap top, but i honestly don't think you need one because you obviously have some kind of way to get on the internet. icey0990 answered Friday August 26 2005, 1:58 pm: well if you can only get one..make a list of what is good and bad about each thing
here is MY example list
laptop good because:
-laptops are awesome
-portable
-your own comp..no family members bugging you
bad because:
- maybe you want the puppy more..i cant think of anything bad
puppy is good because:
-they are adorable
-if ur an animal lover your good to go
-cute
bad because:
-puppy needs care
-cleaning up after
well chosing one would be hard..if it were ME i would chose laptop but thats only because its me and with my family..a puppyy isnt for us. i love dogs though.
keep in mind if you get the puppy..you can save up money to buy the laptop yourself..
