Hey I'm just an average girl who wants to give people advice to help them! You can rate me 1-5 (5 being the best) and tell me what you think of my advice column and give feedback but dont be rude or anything, so I hope my advice helps =)!

15/f...well i was stupid and went out with this guy ive been best friends with since sixth grade and were now in 9th and so it was a few months and everytyhing was perfect and i just told myself everything was wrong but it wasnt and so i broke up with him for no reason at all i was just like its over.. and so its been about two months and he went out with this other chick and they broke up and now i realize what a big mistake ive made and we were BEST friends we told each other everything and now he wont even look at me and i want him back but i dont expect that i just want it to eb the way it was before.. any suggestions?
Honestly, what I think would work your way up with him would be to tell him exactally what you told us. The honest truth. If he doesn't want you back, then hes not worth your time anymore. Everything happens for a reason right?
I know its probably not the answer you were looking for but in my opinion I think it would be the most affective.

What's a cute sweater or something that could go over that cami so I could wear it to school?
I would go for some sort of white knitted zip up sweaters. They have them at a lot of stores. I'm not sure about american eagle but im pretty sure that aeropostale of abercrombie would have them.

To me the skirt looks more bright and summery while the cami is pretty and suttle. They do go somewhat together but it's hard to tell online. I would go for a more suttle blue skirt.

Ok, my best friend and my other good friend are going out with two guys who are best friends. One of them I'm also close friends with, and the other one I used to like (and then he started going out with my friend, long, messy, story). So anywayz, they are ALWAYS planning double dates and are leaving me out because I don't have a boyfriend. It's not intentional but it amkes me really want a boyfriend. I know that probably sounds really insecure and stupid, but it's true. What should I do, if anything?
Well in my opinion, the best bet is to talk to your friends and tell them how you feel.
I know, I know its a very common answer... but people suggest it because it works. =)
What I am also going to tell you that is very important is don't go out and date any guy who likes you just because you want to be included. That will end up bad and lead into a breakup because technically it's like using him.
Well, I think you should just talk to them and take it from there. They're just going to keep on doing it if they are unaware it is hurting you.

My hair is natuarally straight, and thick. shoulder length. how can i make it wavy sometimes?

Sorry, but I have a lot of really frizzy and curly hair that I straighten all the time.
Now, depending on how straight it is, this might be hard to do, but you should try to scrunch your hair. All you have to do is have your hair wet, put some gel in it and either shake your head, or use your hands to move your hair to make it wavy. Then let it dry on its own.
You could also use a curling iron, but if you do that make sure theres no hair sticking out of the bottom because that will cause it to bend and look bad. After curling it use some hair spray on it to make it stay.
** Try and use non alcahol products on your hair because that will ruin it if you use too much.**

alright so my boyfriend comes over here like everyday and i love it because i get to see him everyyyy dayy and thats just fine with me but sometimes when hes over here and im in the shower i get out come to my room and hes on myspace writing someone or reading someones message to him but once i really get in the room he closes out of it really quick and this has happen twice. idk what to do because if hes hiding something i need to know but im scared to ask him because i dont want us to start an arguement. what should i do?????
Now I know the good thing to say would be to talk to him now because what I'm about to tell you could lead into an argument later but:
My idea is to maybe get a myspace of your own. NO REAL INFORMATION OR PICTURES. Unless you want to but thats your descision. Ok, then look at his comments and such. If he wont let you look at his myspace then you can ask him whats up.
I'm just scared this can lead into an argument of "You were spying on me!!"
So you might just want to ask him why he keeps closing the window. If you find out he lied about it later then you would have the right to be mad.
He could have just closed it because he was going to leave and nothings going on.

my skin gets dry pretty easily. so after washing my face at night and putting an acne medication on, i will wake up in the morning and simply put makeup on without washing my face first. is there any harm in this?
Yes because acne medication opens up your pores. Even just washing your face first could be bad because that too opens up your pores.
When your pores are open and you put makeup in the make up fills your pores, causing pimples.
What you should do is put a moisturizer on first before the makeup, that way your pores are filled with good moisturizer instead of bad make up.
Once the moisturizer is in you can put on any make up you want.

yep and its really really easy too.
To make font big/small:
< big > < big > (the more you do the bigger the font untill it cant get any bigger) then when you want it to be regular sized again you do:
< /big > < /big >
It's the same thing for small exept you write small.
For changing the color you would do.
< fontcolor=*name of color* > Then when you dont want that color again you have to do the same thing but with the color you started with.
** REMEMBER TO TAKE OUT ALL OF THE SPACES**

ya ok my hair is about shoulder length and i have no clue on what other way to do it i tried a pony tail doesnt work for me and i always wear my ponytail kinda up on the side and im sick of doing it like that i need a new hairstyle... and having it down looks like crap

Yea I know everyone does it but theres a reason for that.
Scrunching. Straightning. Curling. (All so you're hair doesn't look like crap down.)
Scrunching- Use an alcahol free gel in you're hair once you get out of the shower and let it air dry. Really simple and cute.
Straightning- Use a straighning protecter and get a ceramic hair straighter to straighten you're hair in layers.
Curling- You could get a hair curler to have nice flowy soft waves. Just make sure your hair isnt sticking out of the ends or else it will come out bad.
With any of these hair styles you can put the front of your hair back in a clip, leave regular, do half up half down, anything you want.

im 15/f and i've got a really wierd problem. First of all, don't call me an emo or any of that nonsense or i will give you a 1, i am most definantly not.
so when my dad screams at me (about once or twice a day) he usually yells pretty bad, verbally abusing me, it hurts. so ever since i was younger instead of cry or let out my pain, because if i cried he would get even madder at me, i would pinch myself very hard or scratch myself secretly with my hands behind my back or so. i was about 7 when i started this. now this year it has gotten worse, i am getting screamed at for nothing and it has been worse then ever. i started scratching myself until i bleed. not until the skin is red, until blood is dripping. now i have 3 scars on my wrist and too many to count on my waist. i never thought i was a cutter b/c i didn't go cry and slice myself with a blade, i don't think i could ever do that. but i went bathing suit shopping with my friends and they saw the scars, and they were horrified. they had no idea what it was from, i didnt really know they were so noticable but they def. are. i am really happy all the time at school, a cheerleader vb player, a prep and every1 sees me as happy and hyper. i do cry sometimes, so im not like repressing everything. and im not emo, i don't self loath or anything. so why do i do this? make myself burn, sting, and drip blood? i don't know how to stop, i tried to rubber band and it doesn't work. i cnt seek professional help my dad will never allow it. please somebody help. Questions like this I would hate to give the wrong answer too because I haven't been there.
If it was any other habbit I would tell you to pinch yourself whenever you felt like doing it but this isnt going to work here. So maybe you could do it opposite.
You have control over yourself. No one makes you hurt yourself. Whenever you go to do it you just have to tell yourself not to. Don't do it no matter what happens. Maybe watch some TV or do homework to get your mind off of it.
For the scars, you could try some scar medicine at a drug store.
Also, what your dad is doing is a big deal. Instead of professional help you can talk to your shcool guidance counsler if you have one or another trusted adult.

I bought my laptop around last july. I'm just wondering, can a computer have no microsolf to type on? the only thing i can actually type on is wordpad, which is dumb & has nothing i need. i NEED microsolf word and its on my computer but when i push it to go into it, a thing comes up asking for like the product key and stuff.

Do you mean microsoft? If not, do you have an illegal copy? I suggest getting regular Microsoft Office complete with Microsoft word and other programs. It's a little pricy but worth it. Look into it. =)

This may sound a little dumb, but what exactly is iTunes? And how does it work?
iTunes is a program from apple to help you store music in one convienient place without having to put a CD in. The songs on Itunes can go on to someones iPod. iTunes also lets you buy songs for $0.99 and videos for a greater price. You can make playlists and listen to anysong "imported" on to iTunes whenever you want.

Age 14/f. There's this kid who lives down the street that I have a huge crush on. He's a year younger, which is fine with me. The only problem is that we are two grades apart. I am a freshman in high school and he is only in seventh grade. When I moved, something got mixed up with the cutoff dates and I am now a very young freshman (or a very old eighth grader.) We are a year apart, but as far as anyone else knows, it's actually two years. Do you think it's worth it to go after him? Or should I give up and look elsewhere? (If it makes a difference, he's still taller than I am by about an inch.)
I think you should try for him. It doesnt matter if everyone else thinks hes two years apart. You don't have to even explain you're only one year apart.
If you really like a person it shouldn't matter what age they are. I say go for him and forget what anyone else thinks. =)

I'm trying to learn a backflip on the trampoline.. I can do one on my but like jump til you get high and then land on your but and do a backflip and land it.. My friends says it's easier.. but I'm just afraid of landing on my neck I feel like I could do it..I'm going to get someone to spot me.. but it just makes me more scared of hurting them
what should I do to get the backflip?
Hey, I just learned how to do one this summer! It deffinately helps to learn a backhand spring first like the person below me said because it prepares you for going backward, and your hands are out so it gets you ready.
If that is hard for you get a friend to spot you.
From there you just have to let the fear of doing it go away. I know what its like but if you're scared your body wont allow your self to do it.

My best freind likes this kid. He likes her back. Well, me and him argue about stupid things alot and he bugs the heck out of me! He's just so annoying and will yell at me online and stuff. He's a year younger then us. He is considered "gay" in his grade. Well, I also think he is two timing her for this girl in his grade. There was this dance last night and he was with her dancing with her the whole time! My freind likes him so much though. Should I talk to her about it or should I talk to the guy about it.. but I know he will tell my freind. Should I keep it to myself?? Plese help!
I think you should talk to your friend about it because she is your friend and will trust what you say. She has to right to know. Make sure you tell her that you arent positive he is two timing her but you saw him dancing with the girl.
Maybe you could tell her to talk to him about it.
If they settle things out just ingnore him if she really likes him dont get involved and express how much you hate him it could cause problems in their relationship. Just block him online and ingore it.

okay well i have been wanting an ipod shuffle. from what i know they are pretty much as good as the other ipods just without the display screen. is this right? if you have one could you please give me some advice on them. and when u put the songs on them can you only get them through itunes? and when i do get my shuffle will they have like a booklet or something telling me how to download them and the last question is. do you have to pay for all of the songs you put on there? thanks!
My friend has an Ipod shuffle and it is just as good. You can listen to it in alphabetical order, or bande order, I forget but there is an organized way and a shuffle way so it randomly plays songs.
You can only put songs on any Ipod through Itunes. You can put songs from other programs on to Itunes and then put it on your Ipod, but thats a whole other story.
Your new shuffle should come with directions on how to use.
You do not have to pay for all of the songs you put on your Ipod. You can put all songs from a CD into your itunes or download songs but that is illegal so I dont know if you would want to do that.

After writing an essay about something we liked were gunna have to speak in front of the class for a timed 5 minutes about it. And i'm scared out of my mind. Whenever we have to talk in front of the class i start talking fast (which doesnt help me reach 5 min easily) and like moving my legs back and forth. Its weird, cause usually i'm really up beat and talk real loud and stuff like that. But yeah i'm super nervous. And suggestions that would help me not be so scared?
Hey this sounds EXACTALLY like me.
I hate oral presentations but its so much easier if you take this advice.
Practice in front of some of your friends or family a lot of times.
When you're up giving the presentation don't think about the people there just remind yourself of what you practiced.
It also helps to write down note cards that you can glance at if you're aloud too do that.
Just think it will be over in a five minutes. Only five minutes of your whole life will it really matter in a couple of months, days even.
People aren't going to make fun of you a lot of people get nervous.
Just practice it and time yourself over and over to make sure you dont mess up and you should be fine.

I don't have a lot of songs but I'm just going to tell you "Your Beautiful" is by James Blunt not Teddy Geiger but Teddy Geiger sings "For You I will" which is another good love song.
You should also try songs by The Academy Is, they have gread lines in their songs.
