I have shoulder length hair also. One style I love on me is I start with straight hair. *if yours is natrually straight, good. If not, then blow dry it straight before styling* Take your hair and put into half pony. (When only the front/bangs are in a ponytail) Curl it with a curling iron and then put hairspray in it. It looks really good on most people. Also, look in magazines, on TV ect to find styles you like and imitate them.

you could straighten it, put it half up half down, put a bow in it, use headbands, messy bun, curl it, scrunch it with gel, french braid it, pigtails ..there's lots of possibilities! :)

hey, scrunch it, curl it, straighten it, crimp it, put it in a messy bun, or get a flat or round brush and blow dry it while brushing. also for leaving it down try a strecthy headband or leaving pieces of hair down. cait♥

Yea I know everyone does it but theres a reason for that.

Scrunching. Straightning. Curling. (All so you're hair doesn't look like crap down.)

Scrunching- Use an alcahol free gel in you're hair once you get out of the shower and let it air dry. Really simple and cute.

Straightning- Use a straighning protecter and get a ceramic hair straighter to straighten you're hair in layers.

Curling- You could get a hair curler to have nice flowy soft waves. Just make sure your hair isnt sticking out of the ends or else it will come out bad.

With any of these hair styles you can put the front of your hair back in a clip, leave regular, do half up half down, anything you want.

Good luck!!
Hope I helped =)

Try getting side bangs if you don't already have them, it's not exactly a way to do your hair, but it changes your appearance. Also if you want it longer, try extensions. They're somewhat pricey but they look pretty good. Layers would be good too, maybe try making it longer in the back and somewhat shorter in the front. If you don't like any of those, look on the internet at different people's hair, like celebrities, and see if there's anything you can find. Good luck!
