Does Anybody Know good stuff to make my Curly Hair so not Frizzy I hate how it gets to wavy to how do I straigten the top please help I'll rate BIG!!!!!

there are a number of products you can try:
1)Got2BMe "Got2B Dazzling Shine Spray" it also controls frizzes. It's a clear spray bottle about 6 Fl. Oz and is available at drugstores or Jewel Osco.
2)Garnier Fructise has SEVERAL smoothing milk formulas, and you can get them at drugstores and\or Jewel Osco. Just look for a lotion-type bottle that is green and says "Garnier Fructise Sleek and Shine Smoothing Milk" (the word phrases might be a little different but it basically says that).
3)I have never tried the Pantene Pro-V products but I am sure that they work great because the shampoo is really good.
*** Make sure you always condition, then when hair is damp (not dripping) apply product and blow dry using a round brush with a BIG barrel so it blows straight.
*** At beauty salons you can find other smoothing cream products and pomade and stuff like that. Ask the person who cuts your hair (if you have a regular one) for more tips.

I'm wearing a sweater and wasn't sure how to do my hair. It's a big, off the shoulder sweater from American Eagle. I'm just wearing it with jeans. I've have pretty long hair, down to the middle of my back. What can I do?

You can do low pigtail braids, a messy bun high on the head, ponytail (high or low), or crimp your hair and pull it into a half ponytail (top half of hair up, bottom half of hair left down). Whatever you do will look cute, I'm sure. :)

Hey I recently dyed my hair black and I was wondering if it will look good with red highlights. I have brown skin. if you have anyother colors that might look good please tell me. not blonde everyone has blonde i wand something different.

Yeah I think black and red would look good, but don't overdo the red because then you might look like a Parcheesi board. Put a red streak in the front, then in the middle here and there, but don't do it too stripey. And other colors that would look good are light pink, blue and white (but just a stripe in the front part -- don't want to look like an old lady! lol). Good luck!

what are some good eyeshadow colors for someone with green eyes?

Ermmm, very pale purple, and various shades of browns. Avoid pink, blue, and dark purples. Or, if you can't decide on a color, do what I always do: Put sparkles and silver loose glitter on your eyelids lol. Hope I helped! :)

I recently bought some pants at Goodwill and I want to change them to better fit my style. I would like to put inserts into the legs, to make them wider at the bottom. I need some tips on how to sew certain fabrics. Mostly just jean.
I have done it in the past, but did not use a sewing machine, and they ended up just fraying and tearing apart. Now I have a sewing machine, but would like to hear some tips on how to keep the fabrics from fraying and ripping.

I was also wondering if anyone could help me with the seams. I usually sew a long triangle up the side of the pant leg to make them wider, but at the top end, where the triangle comes together, usually ends up in a big bunch of wrinkled fabric.

Do you have any ideas on what color fabrics to put together?
What types of fabrics to put together?
Do you have any other ideas besides just widening the legs?
I do not enjoy the normal low hip flare style that every other single person wears.

Maybe instead of sewing a triangle, you can take out the seams on the outer part of the leg (I'm not sure, because it depends on what kind of fabric you have), snip of a few millimeters on the outside legs, and make whatever shape you want with the pants. Then, you can get this great stuff called Fraycheck. It's like this sticky stuff that you put on the ends of anything to prevent fraying (it dries and becomes like invisible after an hour) You can get Fraycheck at a crafts store or even at some fabric stores or at Jewel Osco or something like that.

It would be cute if you sewed patches on the pants. Just cut out any shapes you want and sew them on. Any fabric goes good with any color too. Just as long as it looks good to you. Maybe instead of widening the legs you can make cut-off pants, or you can cut out shapes in the pants fabric on the legs or something and then put fabric over the shapes (from the inside of the pants, otherwise you wouldn't be able to see the shape that you cut out). You can also get some Fabric BlowPens to make cool shapes, you can tydye the pants different colors (that may not look good though) or you can glue small rhinestones or studs to the pants here and there. I have this black panch with a lot of holes in it (u know the stitching) and the neck on it is round like a tee-shrit and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what shirt to wear under it with jeans. I've worn one of those double v-necks and it was maroon and it looked ok. I guess a think strap tank top would look ok but it's too cold for that now. Any suggestions would be awesome! This is a hard question :)

I think you should wear it with a black or white turtleneck. That would definately look good. :]

Hi there! I've got my own column on here (EMiLYELiZABETH) but today I'm needing some advice.

I'm 2O/f and tomorrow I've got a huge job interview with the police department. My question is... what should I wear and how should I do my hair?? It's brown with reddish highlights, half way down my back (about to the bottom of my bra). I like it either up or down, so that isn't an issue.

As far as what to wear, I was wondering about pinstripe pants or a skirt? Also, what kind of shirt? I've got a few nice sweaters or some that I can layer with.

Hello, Emily Elizabeth. I think you should definately go with the skirt, because it looks way more professional (pinstripe pants aren't interview-wardrobe-worthy :D). You can wear a V-neck sweater with a striped blouse underneath or a solid, matching colored blouse. Or, you could wear a skirt with a solid color blouse. Leave the blouse unbuttoned and wear a nice matching tee underneath (Or it could be sleeveless.). Layers look cool, too. Wear whatever feels best, but remember to look presentable and professionable. As for your hair, you can loosely curl it, leave it down and straight, or tie it in a low ponytail with a ribbon. You could also pull it back in a tight bun. Good luck! Hope all goes well!

This is a question for guys..im not redheaded but my friend is..and it seems like she cant get ne guys. Shes real pretty in the face but i was jw..do guys not like red hair or somethin?

Guys don't discriminate against redheads, because, I mean, do you really think a guy would be all "Hey, that girl is so pretty, I would totally date her if it wasn't for the color of her hair"? I'm a redhead, and I've gotten compliments about my hair, not criticisms. I think as guys get older like in high school they take more notice but I don't think that it's because of your friend's hair... so don't let her dye her hair, because red hair is really unique (I dunno about your friend, but I love being a redhead!).

I blow dry and straighten my hair every day and it's really beginning to show! I was thinking of getting a leave-in conditioner or deep conditioner today but I don't know what kind to get! Or does any one know nething else that works to get ur hair looking super-good? Thanks so much! I RATE!

Okay, I tried this method on my hair and it's awesome! Okay take a banana and some honey and mash them together in a bowl (make sure that there is as much honey as mashed banana). Then take your electric beaters and beat the honey/banana mixture in the bowl on HIGH power until there are no more lumps. That part is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT as you don't want banana bits in your hair for a week (that's what happened to me no lie :]) Okay, it looks and smells like puke, but this makes your hair SO much healthier. Apply the mixture to your hair and run it through all your layers and try to get it all over your head. Then cover your head with a shower cap and towel and leave in the mixture for 20-30 minutes (The longer, the better). Then rinse it out and your hair is shiny and healthy!


Or you can mash half of an avocado in a bowl and add 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of olive oil and blend them together with an electric beater, making sure there is no lumps. Then apply to hair, cover with shower cap and towel and leave in for 20-30 minutes. Then rinse out and you have great, shiny and healthy hair!

ok im like really white all my friends are way darker then me. anyways you know those different lotions that give you a tan what one works the best and doesnt turn you orange and really dark but gives you a beach tan. i dont want to go to a tanning bed because that can give you skin cancer or something. thanks.

Neutrogena Instant Bronze get it in the Light Shade (I'm really pale, too!) It works great on me just apply an even layer in circular rubbing motions and wait 10 minutes then apply a second layer (if ya wanna look tanner).

Hey, I have a question about my hair. My hair is naturally wavy, but not curly. When I try to blow-dry it straight, it never comes out right, and one side of my head is wavy, and the other is straight. Sometimes I straighten my hair, but I don't really have a ton of time in the morning to do that. Do you have any suggestions of what I should do with it (Possibly even something I could do at night and sleep with it, or something I could do in the morning but it won't take too much time)

Try using that John Frieda frizzease stuff. Just smoothy smooth all over your hair then blow dry your hair and it's straight! Except John Frieda products are pretty expensive, but my friend has hair that sounds like how your hair is, and she uses this frizz-ease stuff, except it's at Jewel and it's Jewel brand, so if you want to save some money, go for the Jewel stuff. Ok, I have blue-ish eyes with green around my pupil. I have tan skin. School is starting soon and I wanna make my eyes stand out. Like when I'm walking down the hall, I want people to turn around and be like "Who's that girl". What kinds of colors of eye makeup such as eye shadow, mascara, and eyeliner should I use. Apply a bright eyeshadow color, like a shimmery turquoise or a shimmery green or maueve (shimmery bright colors work the best.) You can get these at http://www.maccosmetics.com. And when you apply eyeliner go for a light brown and don't overdose because you're already wearing bright eyeshadow (and you don't wanna look like a hooker). Also, go for a dark brown mascara. I know Estee Lauder and Sky High Curves look great. Just go for a simple lip gloss since your eyes are already emphasized. Hope I helped :)

Dress in sweet, soft clothes that match your personality. Wear a light pink cap-sleeved tee with a short, flirty skirt (like a white one with faded-looking flowers) very light pink tights and pink leg warmers with pink ballet shoes. Makeup: Use a big brush to apply light-colored, translucent powder all over your face (available at Target). Blend a soft, neutral color over your eyelid up to your eyebrows (peachy color or light apricot). Apply a light pink blush color (using a blush brush) along cheekbones, and apply a little bit of brown mascara on you eyelashes, and put vaseline on your lips.

I am 16 years old weigh 115 lbs and im 5'4". Well I was trying on homecomming dresses at my friends house But every dress I tried on I felt soooo fat or shall I say I LOOKED so fat! I was about to cry but I couldnt cry infront of everyone. Homecomming is in about 1 month and a half away. Should I go on a diet or should I just tell my friends I cant go. My friends would be sooo mad at me if they find out im not going because I never been to a dance before. Its NOT as easy as you think it is. I been thinking about it day in and day out. If you are 16 years old and you are 115 pounds, you really aren't fat. Infact, you are right around the average weight of most healthy 16-year-olds (avg weight, 120 lbs.). But if you wish to diet, all there is to it is to eat healthy fruits, vegetables, meats, and if you run everyday for 30 minutes that would be helpful. Cut down on the junk food, and most of all, have confidence in yourself and don't let other people make you think you are fat, because you aren't!

It really depends on the place you are going to. If it's a nice place, then wear a skirt with a sleeveless turtle neck or johnny collar T-shirt. If it's casual, go for the old jeans and a tank top look. Don't overdose on the makeup either, just go easy and don't foget to be yourself! Good luck and carry on!
