Okay take a banana and some honey and mash them together in a bowl (make sure that there is as much honey as mashed banana). Then take your electric beaters and beat the honey/banana mixture in the bowl on HIGH power until there are no more lumps. That part is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT as you don't want banana bits in your hair for a week (that's what happened to me no lie :]) Okay, it looks and smells like puke, but this makes your hair SO much healthier. Apply the mixture to your hair and run it through all your layers and try to get it all over your head. Then cover your head with a shower cap and towel and leave in the mixture for 20-30 minutes (The longer, the better). Then rinse it out and your hair is shiny and healthy!
Or you can mash half of an avocado in a bowl and add 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of olive oil and blend them together with an electric beater, making sure there is no lumps. Then apply to hair, cover with shower cap and towel and leave in for 20-30 minutes. Then rinse out and you have great, shiny and healthy hair!

Go to a store like that and ask about leave in treatments. I don't know if you have an Ulta around your area but you probably have a place like it that sells tons of make-up, skin stuff, and hair stuff. It's awsome. The people there know what they're talking about and they're great people to get information about your hair. Also to get your hair shiny again melt a little bit of coconut oil in the microwave. Wet your hair w.water and then comb the melted coconut oil in. I did this once and it worked really good but it makes your hairy really greasy for a couple days even if you wash it really good, so try to do it on a weekend or sometime when you have no where to go. You can also buy hair glosser @ wal-mart or anywhere..it makes your hair look shiny, I use it on my eye brows, but its made for hair. Even tho people tell you Pantene Pro-V is bad for your hair, I use it and my hair dresser always tells me how my hairs in good condition. I use the Full And Thick kind because i have thin hair, but it really moisturizes good. I used to use a hair system my mom got me out of a vitamin catalog...it worked really good because it had tons of vitamins in it, but it didn't smell very good, so look in some vitamin catalogs or online becuase they have good stuff

blondie75 answered Saturday October 9 2004, 10:41 pm: something that would help TONS would b to just blow dry it. Thats what i do at its perfectly straight. If its not naturally straight or even if it is brushing as u blow dry gives u the straightened look and it saves u time and is alot easier on ur hair. All the conditioners other ppl mentioned are great. pantene, fructis, and infusium are really good. Another thing that really helps is to leave ur conditioner on for 3-5 mins so it can really sink in. Hope i helped! good luck [ blondie75's advice column | Ask blondie75 A Question ]
Karen answered Saturday October 9 2004, 9:27 pm: I use Aussie Leave In Conditioner Spray and it makes my hair look great! You can buy it at any drugstore, supermarket, and pharmacy. Also, blowdrying and straightening your hair everyday, kills and dries out your hair and it'll be damaged. You should also buy "Dry and Damaged" Shampoo and Conditioner by Pantene-ProV. It'll help your hair too!! Hope I helped :) [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
