Ok, Tomarrow Is My little sisters birthday party... She is having a hawian party... Im waering short shorts and a speggetie strap top... My question is how should i do my hair? I can put a lei or somthing in it... I am not sure.. Gimmi some tips and You get a 5.. website with pictures are GREAT also *Thanks In Advance!!*

-Luv, Meg- (link)
I would style it like the ancient Hawaiian hula dancers- braid your hair tonight and sleep on it. In the morning, separate the waves and add a light hairspray to them to keep their bounce. Then stick a lei on top and you're done!

13/f
..so, i wanted to no..
wat kind of makeup do models and actors/actresses wear??
b/c i mean, i've always wanted to have that look, its kinda lik a glow..
..thanks
..will rate high! (link)
If you're talking about a glow, it's probably bronzer. Bronzer adds a flush to your face like you've just been tanning at the beach w/o the harmful UV rays. If you put on bronzer, some blush, light lipgloss, and some warm toned brown eyeshadow, you will get the glowing look.

can some one give me some pics of destroyed jeans. ive been looking but my search hasnt been succesful. it would be sooo helpful. thanks a lot! bu bye (link)
I would go to www.ae.com and check the jean section. American Eagle has a wide variety of destroyed jeans and washes. http://www.ae.com/AE_SectionPage.process?RestartFlow=t&Section_Id=320&Gender=Womens&CatalogFlag=FloorSet&Merchant_Id=1&Section_Title=Jeans
sorry how wide that link is, but that is a link for the section where they carry jeans.

ok, im 13, and i don't no what to do, i want to start to wear makeup but i kind of don't, i mean if i do, how will i tell my mom ,and if i don't when do i start? (link)
If you want to start to wear makeup, you need to go really natural- no blue eyeshadow or outrageous colors. I'd go for a fresher, dewey look.....just wear a little lip gloss and a bit of blush, and if you really want to go with a tan eyeshadow. Just ask your mom if she will get you some lip gloss, and at the store ask her if you can get some eyeshadow or whatever you want. If she doesn't think it's the right time to start wearing makeup, then I would try again when you are 15-16.

okay the problem is when i sweat and stuff my hair gets REALLY frizzy, almost like in the movies when someone gets elecricuted! it sticks up everywhere, and everyone else has perfect hair lying flat on their head while dripping with sweat, and even the slightest bit of sweat and i turn into a puff ball or something! i have soccer tryouts tonight at 4-6 and the rest of the week, and then i have a soccer tournament saturday and sunday, does anyone have some ideas on how i can tame my hair so i dont look like i've been elctricuted while i'm playing soccer?! pleeeeeease help, this has been happening forever and i am sick of it. i rate 5's for answers that arent stupid or unhelpful. ♥ (link)
I think the best cure for frizzy hair is a great conditioner. If you try any of the Pantene "Hydrating Curls" products, these should keep your hair down when it adds moisture, because most frizzy hair is caused by dryness.
You also might want to try an extra hold hairspray. I only use a little bit on my hair and it stays down all day no matter what. (If you use a little it doesn't make the hair feel different either.)

I wasnt exactly sure which category to put this under, but here goes...

Shaving is a BITCH! yes, yes it is. My question is:

Has anyone tried those bladeless shaving kits? do they really work? Does it last longer than shaving? does it remove ingrown hairs too, or should i just go for the wax?

yeah i know, kinda stupid, but im sick of shaving and at least dont want to walk around band camp with a bunch of nix and cuts.

thanks! (link)
http://dermatology.about.com/cs/hairremoval/a/hair_removal.htm
This site has a lot of the different kinds of methods of hair removal.
Bladeless shaving kits are exactly like hair removal creams with a cream remover shaped like a razor. Most products from Nair smell pretty bad, but they do the job of removing the hair pretty well.
I personally use Bic Extra-Sensitive skin razors and I haven't gotten a nick or a cut EVER with them. I use them with an extra sensitive shaving gel or a moisturizing shower cream. Even though I do not have sensitive skin, the razor is extra gentle and removes hair just as well as any other razor.

Ok, so my hair is really REALLY dark brown and i was wondering -- do yall think if i got like, auburn highlights -- would it look good?

i need suggestions -- because i dont like how dark my hair is now -- its almost black! and i want to change it up a lil bit

if you need pix go to my myspace:
www.myspace.com/baybgrl

thanks -- & i rate high 4 GOOD answers.. (link)
My friend has really dark brown hair too, and what she did was get a whole lot of highlights in different shades- she has a couple of black lowlights, some blonde highlights, and a bunch of auburn ones in the front, and it looks great.
If you just get the auburn highlights, it might stand out too much, and look too artificial...the purpose of highlights is to make your face look sunkissed and your hair to look healthy, not to make it look like you have highlights. For really dark brown hair I would suggest maybe going a few shades lighter than your hair color to highlight, instead of going far away from it- I would REALLY suggest though to try my friend's look, because it's very pretty and chic.

is there a website like makeoversolutions.com that lets you upload a picture of your self and change the color of your hair with free membership? (link)
Yes, the site is on IVillage. It's called the Makeover-O-Matic, and it works very well along with a free membership.

I'm sorta chubby, and i have been invited to a pool party. anybody have anty good ideas wear to get a suite for a c36 5'5" 160pd girl?

please i really don't want to look like a fool! (link)
A great suit for you is either a one piece halter top or a boy short tankini. The halter gives support, and the boy shorts provide coverage.

This tells you about all different types of suits.
Have fun!

Dose anyone no any cute/hott hair styles for summer? i have an oval face..if that means anything. Thanks!
- (link)
Ovals look good in any hair style. Lucky you :-).
Check this site out for some oval hair styles-
http://www.beauty.about.com/od/hairstylephotogalleries/ss/hairgallery.htm
and this other one for infinite numbers of hair styles-

ok i have a big jewish nose lol brown eyes light brown hair and a long face and not really an upper lip a tan and a slim bathing suit body. should i wear colored contacts what color. should i dye my hair blond. also what styles should i do my hair and clothes and makeup (link)
If you have a dark tan, DO NOT dye your hair blonde. It takes you out of your 'season.' You sound like an autumn to me- Brown hair, golden undertoned skin, and golden brown eyes. If you really want to dye your hair, consult your stylist. They will pick a perfect shade of a lighter brown, like chestnut, that is closer to the blonde you want. Don't be afraid to get blonde highlights though! Those are fine.
For colored contacts, I'd say go ahead if you don't like your eye color, but they can be irritating to your eyes, especially if a dirt particle gets in-between your eye and the lens, your eyes will be really itchy until you take the particle out (which you'd normally do by rubbing your eyes, but with contacts you'd have to take the contact out, make sure the particle is gone, then put it back in again) If you must, I'd go with a hazel-green. It is a darker toned green that would look nice in 'autumn'.
For hairstyles, check out this site-
http://www.seventeen.com/beauty/hairguide/0,,,00.html
There are a million hairstyles in there.
Clothes and makeup- just put on natural makeup, like a clear or soft toned lip gloss and some light brown sparkly eyeshadow one tone above your skin color to open your eyes, or one tone down to create a darker, mysterious look. For your clothes, just shop at stores like Abercrombie and Fitch, Aeropostale, American Eagle, and Hollister. These stores stay in style, and you can browse the sales racks for some cheaper stuff. EVERYTHING in there looks good- pick a color that compliments your eyes, or just one that you like.

to start off, im going to a flea market for fun with 2 guys and another girl. i know there are a ton of creeps so i really dont know what to wear. the 2 guys are punk & goth and im in between girly and rocker type style. SO should i go for a jean skort with a t shirt or my ripped jeans and a tshirt? there would be pros and cons to each...i have good legs (lol, i get told so often.) and that would drive the guys im with crazy, but im concerned about being stalked by some of the creeps. jeans...well its summer. let me know! theres no right or wrong answers! (link)
First of all, I would agree that creeps will stalk you in a jean skirt, especially if you look nice in one. The pro is that it is a skort, but it would be better for you to just wear plain old shorts.
Your jeans are going to overheat you if it is summer. Personally, it depends- if you are prone to overheating, like if your hair is black or a really dark brown, just risk the skort. It will give a chance for your guys to protect you :-).
If you are light skinned and don't overheat easily, try just wearing capris. They won't cause problems and they won't overheat you.
From the outfits you've picked yourself, I tentatively suggest the skort over the jeans, but I highly suggest you just change your choices to capris or shorts.
Have fun :-)

Hey uhm im 13..and im not the u kno most preppiest girl out there. I have black hair and brown eyes..I want sumthing to do with my hair cuz im tired of being so tomboyish. Im not the skinniest girl so does ne1 have ne tips on how i can be a little more girly without being preppy? (link)
Well, first off I'd just wear a cute pair of boot cut jeans and a fitted t-shirt, because that looks great on anyone. Try some classic skirts, or the bohemian look, which I adore- http://teenfashion.about.com/od/trends/tp/boho05.htm
This has a lot of bohemian staple clothing described that you can find really cheap at places like Kohls, Sears, or Target. If you prefer getting it at a specialty clothing store, go to Forever 21. This is the BEST store for the bohemian look, and the clothes are really, really nice and not preppy.
For your hair, I don't know how long it is, so I'll put down styles for all lengths-
If you have short hair (above your shoulders) then I'd go with this look-
http://www.beauty.about.com/od/blackhair/ss/shortblack_6.htm
It's flipped at the ends and really cute.
FOr a medium hair look, I'd go with this-
http://www.beauty.about.com/od/hairstylephotogalleries/ss/longface.htm
or this-
http://www.beauty.about.com/od/hairstylephotos/ss/wildsexyupdos.htm
which is a pretty deconstructed look.
Long hair, try this-
http://www.beauty.about.com/od/blackhairstyles/ss/longblack_4.htm
It's Beyonce's signature look, and it looks great on ANYONE.
Hope I helped!

how do you use it and what's better a pencil or liquid...?

I have tried a pencil but the tip is rough and you have to push too hard for it to show up at all so I'm confued.

Thanx!

Artiste (link)
Personally I prefer a pencil, but liquid is great because you can just touch the tip to your eyelid without pressing and you instantly get a great, thin line. Sometimes liquid can be hard to get off your eye, but if you use a good quality eye makeup remover then you should be fine.
Check out www.sephora.com and click on makeup, eyes, then eyeliner to find a great quantity of eyeliners that are really good quality. It may be possible that the pencil you have isn't high quality, because the pencils I have smudge right off on my lids.
Good luck!

How much are you supposed to tip your hair stylist if you're getting your hair highlighted? (The price is around $50-$75) (link)
Well, if you're thrilled with the results and you think that the stylist did an excellent job, I would tip fifteen percent, which is around $11.25 for a 75 dollar highlighting.
If you're happy with the results, but it's nothing especially exciting, then I'd tip ten percent, which is around $7.50 for $75.
If you are just okay with it, tip five percent, which is $3.75.
If you're horrified, don't tip at all.

Can anyone give me the recipe for a homemade face mask?
(link)
There are many to choose from.
Remember to take a patch test by putting some of the mask on the inside of your arm and waiting for a bit to make sure it doesn't irritate your skin.
Simple Oatmeal Mask-
THis mask works well on all skin types. If your skin is dry, use whole milk or cream, otherwise stick with low fat or nonfat milk. Oatmeal will leave your skin soft and toned.
3 Tbsp regular, uncooked oatmeal, ground to a fine flour
2 Tbsp milk or cream
Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Pull your hair back off your face. Run a washcloth under warm water, squeeze it ut and hold it over your hace for a few seconds to dampen it. Apply the mask over your face. Lie back and let it work for 10-15 minutes. Use a washcloth and wipe the mask off, and discard any leftover mask.
If you'd like any more recipes, feel free to drop an inbox- I just dont want to type them all in here. :-)

i'm really into bright colors and matching my make up with my clothes and such.
my question is what are some stores where i can get really cute clothese , i dont want like AE and abercrombie and stores like that im into fashion alot but i cant seem to find any stores around here that have unique clothes. thanks (link)
Well I'm not sure if you don't want AE and Abercrombie because they're expensive or because their clothes are toned down in the color department, so I'll put both fashion stores and regular department stores that carry good fashion-
Forever 21- www.forever21.com
This is a great store because it has a lot of unique, bohemian-look clothes that are colorful and pretty. They have a lot of vivid colors that look really nice.
My two favorite department stores are Sears and Kohls. Sears has a great juniors section, and they have a lot of nice, in fashion clothes at a cheaper price. They also have some nice bright colors like hot pinks and deep greens.
Kohls also has a great juniors section, and this place always has something for everyone.

i have naturally curly hair. i always straighten it, but lately it's been a hassle and it's ruining my hair. the only thing i don't like about my hair being curly is it's always so frizzy and the curls are way to small and it makes me look like an idiot. i'd like to have big, SOFT, NON FRIZZY curls. how can i achieve this without damaging my hair more? (link)
I would try Pantene Pro-V Hydrating Curls. It moisturizes curly hair so that it doesn't become frizzy any more. There are a lot of the Hydrating Curls products, but I would reccommend-
The Hydrating Curls shampoo
The Hydrating Curls conditioner
and definitely it sounds like this would be the product for you- http://www.pantene.com/en_US/browse-products/collection/hydrating_curls/frizz_control_treatment.jhtml
It's the Pantene Pro-V Frizz Control Treatment, and it defines your curls.
Of course, in case you would like to check out the other curl products from Pantene-
http://www.pantene.com/en_US/browse-products/regimen/curl/index.jhtml
This sounds like all the stuff you will need to tame your curly hair.

does anyone know where i can get patterns for clothes (like for sewing them) online? and don't say google it because i've tried that and haven't found anything. (link)
If you want free patterns, I would suggest www.sewing.about.com. This place has tons of patterns that are relatively simple.
Also, one of my fav sites is www.sewing.org. It has a lot of fashion patterns, and they are described very well and they also include pictures.
www.sewtrendy.com doesn't have a lot of patterns, but the ones they have are really nice and fashionable most of the time, because they base their designs on what's in and trendy during the season.

me and my freinds are going to a really really fomal party tonight, i have a black gown im going to wear, andi think they are going to make my hair all curly, but what else should i do, like what sort of jewelry, how should i do my makeup, etc... thanks in advance!! (link)
I wouldn't go with the curly hair, because that screams more casual than formal. Here are a few styles that I think would work for your hair-
http://beauty.about.com/od/celebrityhairstyles1/ss/jessica_3.htm is if you're trying to stick with a really formal look.
http://beauty.about.com/od/hairstylephotogalleries/ss/hairgallery_5.htm is a style that is a looser style that less rigid than the first one. Finally
http://beauty.about.com/od/hairstylephotogalleries/ss/hairgallery_3.htm
is a style that screams party and fun, but stays in place to make your look seem formal and finished. It looks a little windblown in the photo, but just gently curl it to create the waves and leave them in the back.
For makeup, either play up your eyes or your lips.
If you want to play up your eyes, try a dark purple eyeshadow and use it as an eyeliner and gently line only the top eyelid. then take a translucent lavender and color your lids in with that to open your eyes up but at the same time creating dark, lush lashes. Wear a neutral lipgloss with that.
To play up your lips, choose a lush color like a dark red or a pink shade and set a shiny lipgloss over it. Wear a shade of eyeshadow with a bit of sparkle but the same shade as your skin.
