Do you really wanna look like everyone else who's trying to go blonde? Just be yourself!!! If anything you should probally just change your makeup to enhance your good features and to conceal your least favorite ones. You should try to embrace who you are and to stop trying to look like everyone else. No one can tell you what style of clothing to wear because no one knows you as well as you do. Just wear clothes that you feel comfortable in and that you look good in. [ xASH's advice column | Ask xASH A Question ]

mapetiteodette answered Thursday June 23 2005, 12:35 pm: If you have a dark tan, DO NOT dye your hair blonde. It takes you out of your 'season.' You sound like an autumn to me- Brown hair, golden undertoned skin, and golden brown eyes. If you really want to dye your hair, consult your stylist. They will pick a perfect shade of a lighter brown, like chestnut, that is closer to the blonde you want. Don't be afraid to get blonde highlights though! Those are fine.
For colored contacts, I'd say go ahead if you don't like your eye color, but they can be irritating to your eyes, especially if a dirt particle gets in-between your eye and the lens, your eyes will be really itchy until you take the particle out (which you'd normally do by rubbing your eyes, but with contacts you'd have to take the contact out, make sure the particle is gone, then put it back in again) If you must, I'd go with a hazel-green. It is a darker toned green that would look nice in 'autumn'.
For hairstyles, check out this site- [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
There are a million hairstyles in there.
Clothes and makeup- just put on natural makeup, like a clear or soft toned lip gloss and some light brown sparkly eyeshadow one tone above your skin color to open your eyes, or one tone down to create a darker, mysterious look. For your clothes, just shop at stores like Abercrombie and Fitch, Aeropostale, American Eagle, and Hollister. These stores stay in style, and you can browse the sales racks for some cheaper stuff. EVERYTHING in there looks good- pick a color that compliments your eyes, or just one that you like. [ mapetiteodette's advice column | Ask mapetiteodette A Question ]
xxurockxx answered Wednesday June 22 2005, 11:11 pm: lol sorry this is soo long but it has a ton of good tips in it!!
for the nose, use a little bit darker makeup where it looks big (not on the whole nose...just the big part)...it will hide it better.
for the lip, put a little bit of lip liner just a little bit outside of the line of your natural upper lip and on the natural line of your lower lip. that will make the upper lip appear to be bigger
contacts..i would go with green....but i love green eyes no matter who they are on
clothes..i would go with mini skirts and tight shirts that show a little bit of your tummy, but not in a slutty way.
hair color- try some dark blonde and auburn highlights
hair cut- try to keep it short to medium in length with fullness at the sides of your face to make it look wider which makes it look shorter. frame your face and get all over layers. also, try side parts.
definately try to not go too long with your hair because it will drag down your face and make it look longer. Center parts also lengthen your face. When your hair gets past your shoulders there is a good chance it is doing you more harm than good. [ xxurockxx's advice column | Ask xxurockxx A Question ]
IceAngel13 answered Wednesday June 22 2005, 9:08 pm: I don't suggest dying your hair blonde for anyone, because it seems really fake looking to me most of the time. If you wear colored contacts, I would suggest a greenish, hazelish color, it'll draw attention to your hair. And makeup, hairstyles and clothes are an expression of who you are. Whe people see you, they see what you look like first, so I would suggest to dress, do your hair and do your makeup however you want to be seen as. Hope I helped.
