How many miles does a car need to have on it before it starts to need a lot of expensive repair work, such as a new transmission?
it depends on what kind of car...hondas are great dependable cars!!! if ur looking to buy a car i wouldnt buy one with more than like 128,000 miles on it but look for one closer to 100,000 or less!!!! n trannys can go out any time, depending on how the car is driven....
how do you style side-swept bangs? like would you straighten them, or what. i don't have them, but i want them. and would it look bad if you didn't style them?
if your hair is always parted in the same spot it might be hard to part it somewhere else. this happens to me and when i want side swept bangs i put a little bit of garnier fructis fiber gum on my roots (you can get it at like cvs or any drugstore) and then dry n then straighten my hair
Alright...well my hair is extremely thick and frizzy and poofy in the humidity. I straighten it and that seems to help. but i was wondering...is it true that if you get your hair thinned out it grows back thicker? thanks ill rate
not really but it makes it gross and coarse..i DEFINATELY wouldnt recommend it!! you could always get it relaxed tho (call a salon and ask them what it is or look it up...its basically just a reverse perm...it gets rid of some of the frizz in your hair by chemically breaking the disulfide bonds like a perm would do but it makes it a little straighter rather than curlier)

if you wana spend a lot of money for something that definately works you can get the new chinese silk straightening procedure..makes your hair stick straight...but its like $500
Hey! Right now I have a Revlon hair straightener but it doesn't work that well. I want to get a new one that works really good but I have no clue what I should look for. fhi hair straighteners are the BEST...i used to have a chi (which everyone says is the best) but i got a fhi (the newer better version of a chi) and it works a million times better!! if u know anyone with a beauty lisence they can get you one for about $96 at brittany co. (its totally worth the money...i promise!!!) or you can order it online..if you get ground shipping (which takes longer) shipping is free but its about $110 for the straightener....

okay .. i've been best friends with these 2 girls for as long as i can remember. when we got into middle school, they started acting all bitchy and ignoring me and my other best friends. they also lie ALOT and think they're better than everyone and talk about people who they're friends with. recently, something happened that wasnt my fault at all, yet they blamed it on me. i thought the best thing to do would be just to ignore them when they tried to be mean to me, but they just spread rumors about me and try to make it seem like i did something wrong, and go out of there way to make me feel bad. i don't want to apologize for something i didn't do. do you think there's something i could do to make the whole situation better ??
so this year i had friends like that....i stopped talking to them and got REAL friends...that made the school year a LOT better
7th and 8th grade i had the whole rumor situation and people being mean to me for something i didnt do. i just once again ignored them and got REAL friends. they eventually stopped. i know it sucks while its happening but if you have real friends there for you to back you up you wont even worry about it. i mean its all middleschool bullshit. its the whole POPULARITY thing!!! in highschool, there is none of that popularity bullshit!!! its better to be hated for WHO YOU ARE then to be loved for WHO YOU'RE NOT!!! be yourself and find people that can love you for you and stop just caring about themselves. they will stop and it will go away if you dont let them know that it gets to you! I PROMISE!!!

Well this is my senior year in high school.
Me and my friends want to leave behind somethig that everyone could talk about.
You see our school has not had a senior prank (well not a good one) for about 5/6 years.

dumb but funny one....bring a cow into your school and walk it up the stairs...cows can walk up stairs but not down stairs so they would have to do something special to get it out....n then add more to that
ok i am here about the nose thing. how do i make my nose look WAY smaller without a LOT of makeup so it looks just NORMAL i rate HIGH
just where ever it is big put some makeup that is a little darker than the rest of your face...if there is a bump, put it down the middle of your nose, if it is wide- down the sides of your nose...u get the point. and if it is small anywhere put some lighter make up to accentuate it and make it look bigger and draw more attention to that!!

My question is:
I have a sports bike, a crotchrocket, and am wondering if I wear a jacket that says "chopper" would I look weird wearing it? Is it clashy? I know that if I wore a Harley helmet that says"Harley Davidson" than it would look weird. So I'm thinking the same anology aplies here, since a crotchrocket is definitely is not a chopper. Does any one know if I can wear a jacket like that? Money is not an issue, I just want to look put together on my bike. By the way, I'm a female.

yea, i do think that that will look weird because street bikes and choppers are definately way different. there are really cute jackets for chics tho. if you are into the whole pink thing i have seen so many pink and white jackets that i want, if not, just look around...ull find something....what kinda bike do u have?
I want to get close with people, but when it comes time to become intimate, I become very scared. I suppose I have some self-esteem issues about my body that contributes to that, but even after that, I'm still hesitant to go for it. I'm not talking about necessarily having sex here, I'm talking about even letting somebody touch me below the waist, or letting somebody see me naked. I'm sure i want to become intimate with somebody, but I'm very self-conscious.

i used to be the same way but eventually you will meet somebody and all of that will go out the window!!! like i used to wear pants and everything all the time, even if i was just at the house by myself cuz i dont even wana c my own body cuz i hate it that much but i always stand there naked with my boyfriend now, or let him sit by me while im in the bath so we can talk or whatever. you will meet someone eventually who, as weird as it sounds, will see you as totally beautiful, despite your flaws. he wont see the things about your body that you find gross as gross. he will honestly probably make you more confident about yourself too...FIND THAT MAN!!!

i, personally, have never used either, but both products usually work. try one and if it doesnt work for you personally, try another. or just start out using both!!

on my desk in my room i have a computer and all of my lotions and hair stuff. if you hang a body length mirror sideways over one side of your desk so that it is as high as your face is when you are sitting in your chair, it is a great place to get ready, and also kinda different.
in your book shelf i would put some older books and teen magazines. go to garage sales or something and buy some books for cheap that you might be interested in (even if you wont end up reading them...at least they will look more your age). donate the nancy drew and lil house books to a local bookstore, school, or orphanage or something. they can be put to great use if you dont want them anymore. also, if you have extra shelves you could put all of your purses on one shelf (if you are a purse person or something)..lol thats what i did and i love it because it can kinda showcase all of my purses and show that i am a purse girl.
dresser put pants, shorts, socks, underwear, bras, and of course, a junk drawer
closet ALL shirts hung up...keeps them looking nicer.

I have really long hair and I like to keep a defined hairline. When I was at a water park recently, I got a really bad sunburn on my head where it's parted. Any ideas on what I can do to make it feel better at least? I mean, how much can you do for a sunburn on your head?
pure aloe and moisturize it
definately moisturize it before bed every night and if you are going to wear your hair in a ponytail and the greasiness wont be obvious put moisturizer on that too!!!
