ive gotten my hair thinned over 10 times! it doesnt grow back thicker at all...just start off slow with thinnning it. they thinned mine too much once and im not gettin it thinned again. i straightened mine everyday and put some product in it. a cheap product to help frizziness is garnier fructise smoothing milk. also a good cheap straightener is vidal sassoon-ceramic, walgreens for $25. hope this is all helpful!

not really but it makes it gross and coarse..i DEFINATELY wouldnt recommend it!! you could always get it relaxed tho (call a salon and ask them what it is or look it up...its basically just a reverse perm...it gets rid of some of the frizz in your hair by chemically breaking the disulfide bonds like a perm would do but it makes it a little straighter rather than curlier)
or
if you wana spend a lot of money for something that definately works you can get the new chinese silk straightening procedure..makes your hair stick straight...but its like $500

Relaxer is your friend. And no, it doesn't grow back thicker, unless you wash it every day and don't straighten your hair from then. Just the roots though. btw, relaxer is a chemichal that de frizzes hair to make it straighter.

no it is not true...i mean once you get your hair cut it tends to grow faster cause you have cut off the split ends and stuff
