Hair Straighteners

Question Posted Monday July 18 2005, 2:12 pm

Hey! Right now I have a Revlon hair straightener but it doesn't work that well. I want to get a new one that works really good but I have no clue what I should look for. Can you please tell me what kind of straighteners works good, the price range of these straighteners, and where I can buy them. Thanks in advance. I will rate you.

Hi,

You have to let your straightener get really hot like hot for 10 minutes or so to do the job right.

and... You can find discounted Brand name cosmetics at onefunshop.com or click here: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

If you want a really good hair straigntner, i suggest the Chi. It works great. Its expensive ranges around 50-100$. You can find them at Salons, or Hair Salons.

the suramic pro works really well but its not something that you can buy at stores. watch paid programing you might be lucky and get the phone number to order it. the true suramic pro isnt that much.

The best hair straightener I've ever used it the Superstar Ceramic Flat Iron. It doesn't cause a lot of damage and it makes your hair so shiny and straight. Plus it heats up really fast. It's pricey - $150, but soo worth it. Check it out here: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

fhi hair straighteners are the BEST...i used to have a chi (which everyone says is the best) but i got a fhi (the newer better version of a chi) and it works a million times better!! if u know anyone with a beauty lisence they can get you one for about $96 at brittany co. (its totally worth the money...i promise!!!) or you can order it online..if you get ground shipping (which takes longer) shipping is free but its about $110 for the straightener....

There's one by Conair, my best friend has it and it works wonders. I want one really bad I just haven't went out and looked for it yet, lol. It's called "ceramic professional straight style" I believe. I think it's between $30 and - $40 though.

If you have a sally Beauty supply, go there. or they probably have a website. I don't think you can buy a straightener that REALLY works well without spending 20 or 30 dollars on it. you wanna make sure its ceramic and if it has different heat settings thats good too. I would not suggest getting one from walmart or anything. If you still don't know, ask your hairdresser what they would recommend. I am still on the lookout for the perfect straightener.

Well i have one that works like a charm, but it is about $100.00. Its a T-3 straighter and you have to special order it from who ever cuts your hair. If your dont like that that one, you could try Tressime's (sp) hair iron or whatever it called and it ranges from $30-50 and it i guess works okay.. and you could get that at any beauty supply store including save-on.
