How much are you supposed to tip your hair stylist if you're getting your hair highlighted? (The price is around $50-$75)

Well
It would be the same as if you were to tip a waitress, Although they aren't serving you food they are still doing the job.
20% The way I usually tip is if the bill is 50 you would double the 5 (Tip would be 10)
75 (Tip 14) etc.
100 (Tip 20) and so on
However, Say the bill is 50.00 and the hair came out terrible, Then you would tip around 7.00. If I were to eat at a restaurant and I was not happy with the service then I would usually tip 3 dollars less than as if the regular tip.

if you hate it $5, if you like it $10, if you love it $15, and if you absolutely adore it $20.....if you leave a good tip and request her next time you go and get your hair done she will remember it and try especially hard to do a kick ass job

I tip depending on how much I like it.
Obviously, I tip a standard 15%, come and go if the service was horrible.
And then I look at all the pluses, it came out really nice, time efficeient, etc.. and then maybe add a bonus.
I have had the same hair stylist since I was in middle school and she never accepts my tips anymore because she's done my hair forever. But yeah.

Well, if you're thrilled with the results and you think that the stylist did an excellent job, I would tip fifteen percent, which is around $11.25 for a 75 dollar highlighting.
If you're happy with the results, but it's nothing especially exciting, then I'd tip ten percent, which is around $7.50 for $75.
If you are just okay with it, tip five percent, which is $3.75.
If you're horrified, don't tip at all.

depends on how much it cost. so say its $50.00, it would be about 15% so 10% of $50.00 is $5.00 because you move the decimal sign over to the left. and then half of $5.00 is $2.50 so add $5.00+$2.50=$7.50 so its about 15%

Well, I suppose the pRopeR thing to do is give a ten peRcent tip. Of couRse, it ALSO depends on how satisfied you weRe with heR job, how she tReated you, and how fRiendly she was.
BUT....
****Let's assume the bill came to $65.00.
-10% tip = $6.50
-15% tip = $9.75
-20% tip = $13.00
PeRsonally, I would say $8.00 - $10.00 tip is plenty if you'Re supeR thRilled with the outcome. Hope this helps!! :D

i personally when i go and get mine highlighted i dont tip her because we are relatives but if i would tip her it would be about $10-$20. hope this helps.
