i got my period for the first time about 1 year, and 8 months ago. I haven't had it very many times since. i get it like every 2 or 3 months? i heard that body weight has something to do with it and some sites tell me that im "emaciated" and stuff like that, but i eat, have a fast matabolism, and im active. do you think this is why my period is irregular? ps im like 5'6 and 105, i think. thankss

Since you got your first period about a year and 8 months ago, your period is going to be irregular for the next 2-3 years. Being active does have an affect on your period and usually causes it to be irregular so that's probably why your period is irregular. Your cycle will change eventually, you just need to wait.

If you are looking for shoes that have high heels that are inexpensive, then I suggest that you check out stores such as Filene's, Macy's, JcPenny, TJMaxx, and Marshall's. They all have shoes for dresses that aren't expensive. Like what xGlAM0URx mentioned, you can find shoes with high heels at Payless Shoes for low prices. Basically any store that sells clothing and apparel which isn't name brand will have shoes that aren't expensive.

Even though you love Jon, he was your ex-boyfriend and you two broke up for a reason. If you two can fix that, then I'm sure you two can get back together because everyone deserves second chances. You had a chance with Jon but your relationship didn't work out, since you two are over, so you shouldn't break up with Jason but if you love Jon more than him, then you should break up with him, since your feelings for Jason aren't true. It sounds like there is more potential between you and Jon, rather between you and Jason but you should tell both Jon and Jason about your feelings for each of them.

I was looking for an estimate height calculator, and I found one, but on Ask.com, like on the side, there's a link for "excersises to grow taller". I'm nearly 5'2, but does anyone know if anything actually works? Thanks!

There are no exercises you can do that will make you grow taller. Your height is from your genes and if most of your family members are short, then you are probably going to stay around 5'2". The only thing you can do is to drink milk so your bones are strong, making you grow healthy. Even though you're 5'2", there is always that chance of you growing a few more inches in the future. People say that stretching helps your grow but that isn't true, by the way.

That myth is not true. Being athletic can cause your period to be irregular sometimes but it doesn't stop you from getting your period. I am athletic too and I got my period at the age of 12 so being athletic doesn't affect you from not getting your period.

ok today i had gym, and i was playing with frisbees. all of a sudden a frisbee hit me right smack on my forehead. it hurt like hell. i have sensitive skin, so after the frisbee attacked me, my forehead became really red, and it was swollen. now, like 11 hours later, there's a bump on my forehead, and it hurts to touch it

are there any ways to make the bump smaller and less red?

The only way to make the bump not swollen and less red is if you ice it or just put a face cloth over the bump that is soaked with cold water. This will also not cause you to feel pain when you touch it.

It's good that you know that you shouldn't care about what others think because you shouldn't. If you like this guy and if he likes you, then ask him out. Even though he isn't "hott" and isn't popular, he is still a nice and caring guy and his looks and what people think about him shouldn't affect anything. The popular people at your school right now that are good lucking can turn out to be the ugliest people and they won't be popular. Things change and you shouldn't care what people will think if you do go out with this guy.

The type of tampon you use won't make you more likely to get Toxic Shock Syndrome but it does in a way. There is a rare chance that you'll get it. If you read the box of tampons, it will tell you about Toxic Shock Syndrome. You only get TSS if you wear the wrong type of tampon when you shouldn't and when you wear tampons when you aren't on your period but if you do that, you won't get TSS because it takes time.

i want to curl my hair or something but i dont want a perm. my hairs like wavy kinda so i straighten it and the other day i tried to scrunch it but i dont know wut products to use. So how can i curl and scrunch my hair???

Scrunching your hair is pretty easy, once you get used to doing it.

Before you actually scrunch your hair, you need to take a shower and wash your hair. Once you get out of the shower, wrap your hair in a towel for a minute or two, and then unwrap the towel and brush your hair. You then can put a moose into your hair (I suggest that you use one from Pantene Pro-V that will make your hair curly and wavy). You can then brush your hair and part it and add gel in your hair. Then just scrunch your hair by taking a little bit of your hair and squeezing the hair through out your head. Once you do that, I suggest that you spray Aussie Sprunching Spray into your hair and just scrunch your hair again.

Your hair will then be wet and curly/wavy and you can just spray more of the sprunching spray after a few minutes so the curls stay in. You can then just put your hair in a high pony tail, if you are doing this at night.

Nope, there is no way to get your period to go away faster and there will probably never be a way in the future. If your competition is on Monday, then your period flow should be light by then and you can just use tampons, if you use pads.

For cramps, you can take Midol or a pain reliever such as Alieve, Advil, or Tylenol. You can take a hot bath and that will help soothe your cramps. Taking a heating pad and putting it where the cramps are will reduce the pain of them. Resting also helps and so does drinking water.

Hey im looking to tone my belly up its alreayd slim but has no shape.. i dont want to be like a musle man [coz im a girl] and i want muserly'er legs than i have becuase my legs look fat at the moment and also my arms.. yeah anyway.. what weight or work out or HOW DO I TONE OUT MY BELLY??!?! To tone out your stomach/abdominal, you need to do crunches or sit ups to tone your belly out. Even riding a bike or running and jogging will help tone your stomach.

To tone your legs to make them have more muscle, then you need to run or jog (basically anywhere such as running up and down your stairs, like you've mentioned). You can also do squats, lunges, and leg lifts too and all of these exercises will help make your legs have more muscle.

To tone your arms, you can lift those regular weights that are small and go by pounds, such as your brother's weights. You can also to push ups and this will tone your arms.

Okay does any one know how to get stains out of a white purse! I already tried soap and water and it does get some out but not all of them. The stains are like pencil/pen/dirt on the bottom from the ground and stuff! My purse is a white corderroy! Please help me Ill give 5's :o)

If your purse is corduroy, then nothing should happen to it when you put it in your washer. I suggest that you put OxiClean over the stains or even that new Clorox Bleach Pen. Both of these products work great, especially to get rid of stains on fabrics. Bleach will work too, since your purse is white and your purse won't get ruined.

Hi,
I'm trying to lose weight. STOP right there - don't pass this on by thinking it's just another one of those 'HOW DO I DO IT?' questions. I know how to lose weight, what my basal metabolic rate is, even what excersizes I should be doing. What I want to know is:
*How can I keep this up? How do I stay motivated?
*And how many times will I have to sit on my hands to resist the urge of going to the biscuit tin before saying 'no, I don't really want that' becomes a habit?

To stay motivated, you just need to tell yourself that if you don't try to lose weight then you are going to gain weight and look horrible, even though you won't. Anything that someone says to you about what will happen if you don't try to lose weight will motivate you.

As for the sitting on your hands to resist the urge of eating, it will take as many times as it takes and until you stop having these urges.

Is it true that you can loose calories by chewing gum? I heard it today, and it makes sense because you are chewing and not eating, and I've heard that it can help you loose weight while cooking so you don't eat, so what's the deal?

Yes, it's true that you can lose calories by chewing gum but there are other ways that allow you to lose calories in a healthy way. Losing weight by chewing gum is not healthy and you will lose calories no matter what you do such as walking, sleeping, and basically doing anything that involves physical movement.
