I kind of went though the same thing you did, but in the end i was happy with my choice, anyway i like lots of guys who arent like popular OR really hot at all. Most of the time im just atracted ot their personality, humor, and how smart they might be. Most of the time the guys arent extremely hot. I htink if the only reason you wouldnt go out with this guy is because hes not hot......thats really wrong. If your friends make fun of you for goin out with him......thats not right, and you need to tell them that they may think you can only go out with hot guys, but your more mature then that. The best guys come in the most unusual packages. Hope i helped!

Well that is right that you shouldn't care what your friends think. If you know he likes you and you know you like him then yea! ask him out! It will make him feel happy that a girl liked him for who he was but because he wasnt the hottest guy in skool.

It's good that you know that you shouldn't care about what others think because you shouldn't. If you like this guy and if he likes you, then ask him out. Even though he isn't "hott" and isn't popular, he is still a nice and caring guy and his looks and what people think about him shouldn't affect anything. The popular people at your school right now that are good lucking can turn out to be the ugliest people and they won't be popular. Things change and you shouldn't care what people will think if you do go out with this guy.
