Anyway.. from the bottom ends of your hair get a bit of firm hold styling mouse and push up your hair with it, so it sort of stays scrunched! Then get alot of hair spray and spray it.. I'm not sure im usually the one doing the opersit to what you want
Mouse: Tesco pro vitamin styling mouse for increased volume and control with pro-vitamin B5 firm hold

If you want my results, make sure your hair is soaking wet and wring out the water (DO NOT TOWEL DRY..THIS WILL MAKE IT ULTRA-FRIZZY!). Then make sure you have purchased the following products: Suave Gel, Mousse, and hairspray (I prefer the scent Aloe Vera). Flip your head over so you are upside down and put a good amount (not too much) gel in your palms and rub your palms together. Then you slide your fingers through your hair until most of the gel is applied then scrunch. Do the same thing with the mousse. Then apply the hairspray all over. Do not scrunch after this. For best results, blow dry while your head is still upside down. Then flip your head back up very quick and tah-dah! Email me and tell me how that goes for you! Karen answered Friday April 8 2005, 7:21 pm: Scrunching your hair is pretty easy, once you get used to doing it.
Before you actually scrunch your hair, you need to take a shower and wash your hair. Once you get out of the shower, wrap your hair in a towel for a minute or two, and then unwrap the towel and brush your hair. You then can put a moose into your hair (I suggest that you use one from Pantene Pro-V that will make your hair curly and wavy). You can then brush your hair and part it and add gel in your hair. Then just scrunch your hair by taking a little bit of your hair and squeezing the hair through out your head. Once you do that, I suggest that you spray Aussie Sprunching Spray into your hair and just scrunch your hair again.
Your hair will then be wet and curly/wavy and you can just spray more of the sprunching spray after a few minutes so the curls stay in. You can then just put your hair in a high pony tail, if you are doing this at night. [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
