My name is Laura and I'm 28 years old. I live in Illinois and work as a licensed veterinary technician. I am a runner, bookworm and obviously, an animal lover.

Ok i just want to know peoples opinions on these types of things. Do you believe in them? Do you think they actualy work? just whats your opinion on them?

I'm a big believer in fate and everything happening for a reason. I think everything was pre-planned for us by some higher power.


I do believe in horoscopes, and I read mine almost daily. I also love fortune cookies, because like I said, I believe everything happens for a reason, and I think that we get the fortunes we get for a reason.
I'm a bit eerie on fortune tellers, though. I do believe they exist, but I don't think they're as common as people think. Like, there are real fortune tellers out there, but a lot of them, in my opinion at least, are fake.

ok so theres this kid and i think hes so nice but hes kinda shy and wants you to make the first move but i really like him and dont want to make the first move what do i do?

Well, the best advice I can give, is to just talk to him. Get to know him, and start hanging out with him so he gets to know you. Hopefully, after a little while, things will progress and he'll strat to view you as more than a friend. But start off as friends. Things work better that way, rather than rushing into a relationship.
So become friends with him, then drop hints that you like him. AKA: smiling a lot, giggling at his jokes, playing with his hair, holding his hand etc.

Can tube dresses be worn in any occassion or JUST for swimming to hide your bathing suit? And how do they stay on and guarantee that they won't slip off like say for a flat chested girl?

I think you can wear them other than just covering up your bathing suit. I've seen people wear them with leggings or over jeans, shorts, etc. The only way to guarentee it'll stay up and not fall, is to make sure you have the right size and it fits comfortably without slipping every 10 seconds.

i just want peoples personal opinions. do you think wearing leopard or cheetah striped anything would be tacky?

Honestly, I think it depends.

Purses are totally fine, and cute even.
But like, pants, yes, I'm sorry, but they look tacky to me. Shirts, it's hard. Some can look ok, but usually it looks kind of tacky.
Other things, like scarfs, etc, look alright, ususally, though.

Ok, I didnt make my question clear enough last time and ive changed it a little

first off, should i download lime wire or blubster?

Should i have limewire or not?

I downloaded Lime Wire!Result!But
everytime i try to search a song it says "lime wire is currently connected to the network.you may not return many results until you are fully connected with the network" and I dont know why!
- i downloaded it perfectly
- internet connection is perfect
- it has downloaded....fully

What could be wrong? how can i fix it

Guess what? Limewire crashed my computer twice.

I'd honestly reccommend getting rid of it right away. It's full of spyware and viruses and it's just bad. Download the songs legally (or from someplace safe) instead =]

I have these little white marks (like horizontal lines almost) in my fingernails. I've had them since I was little. What could they be?

They aren't a serious health issue or anything, but that's what causes them."


The person who said that below is right. I have the same thing, and I thought it was weird, too. So I asked my mom (a registered nurse) about it, and that's exactly what she told me.
If it really bothers you, try taking daily vitamens or eating better. They really aren't too big of a deal, though.

So theres some presents that a guy should give a girl in every semiserious relationship.
I think they are as following:
1.flowers
2.a sweatshirt of his
3.an item of jewelry
4.a stuffed animal

what else?

I don't think material things matter. What matters most to me in a relationship:

1. Honesty.
2. Trust.
3. Happiness.
4. The ability to be comfortable around one another under even the most awkward circumstances.


But really, having his sweatshirt or him giving you flowers are both sweet things, but would you rather trust him and be happy with him or have an old stuffed animal?

- Both physical, and the depression it can cause.
Addiction.

It depends how long you've been going out. If it's been a long time, I'd write some cute/funny memories of the 2 of you, or how you met, or inside jokes. Tell him what you love about him, or something cute and personal like that.


If you haven't been together for that long, I wouldn't write as much, simply because you don't want it to sound like you're moving too fast. Ya know?

My friend needs help on choosing Latin, French or Spanish, for high school

Spanish-Florida a lot of people know Spanish here

French-A love romantic language she loves lot

Latin-A great language to learn, because it will be easier to learn another language afterwards

I can't help her because we have different opinion on things. Any help please?

Personally, I'm taking French and I love it.
My friends all tell me it's a lot easier than Spanish, too. I also think French is pretty easy.
But Spanish is a big language and it's spoken a lot, and probably more than French.

I probably would knock out Latin, though, as it isn't used too much.
