Hi, I was wondering if you could give me someone's column name?? I asked a question a few weeks ago about having mono. I don't know of any practicing doctors or nurses on the site. YG was an EMT, and that is as close as I know of.
You know, there is a link on the menu that says "Your Questions" and you should have been able to see this by looking there.
Did you try that?
It is important that you answer that in feedback, because I just tried it and deleted questions show up just fine for me.

On a side note, why on Earth do you delete your questions like that? It takes them out of the search engine so nobody else can be helped by it and it has to be asked again.

i am in prenatal. i go get an ultrasound ever 2 weeks. or ever oter week howeva u look at it. the chest pains go away. its not like killing pain or anythin just like someone sittin on me. i feel fine besides that. other then that im fine. besides normal pregnacy things like morning sickness (link)

Tightness in the chest accompanied by pain is a warning sign for heart attacks. Trust me, I know from experience.
I will say to you again: Go get yourself checked out. If it feels like someone is sitting on your chest, then you have the same symptoms of practically everyone who has ever had a heart attack.
Please, just pick up the phone, and call your doctor. Tell her/him what is happening and see what THEY think about it.
Please? You have more than one life to think about here.

ANY, and I mean ANY time you have heart pain, you need to go get checked out. Heart attacks aren't just for old people, they can happen to anyone.
I am not saying you are going to have one... I am saying you need to hear your doctor say you aren't going to have one. :-)
Now, pregnancy changes your body in all kinds of ways, so if you aren't already in prenatal care, you need to be. Right away.
Please don't wait to get this looked into. If it is something serious... this might be the only warning you get.
One last time: Please, go to the emergency room. Now.

As far as finding a copy to buy... this is a very rare item. I would start hunting eBay, right away.

From the Specifications list of the Kodak C653 digital camera:
"Supported Flash Memory: MultiMediaCard, SD Memory Card
Integrated Memory: 32 MB"
So, you don't NEED to buy one, because it has a small amount of memory built into the camera itself.
However, the Kodak C653 can take SIX megapixel images... which take up a LOT of memory.
So the question to ask yourself is this: Do you want to have to take your camera to your computer and empty it after taking 4, yes FOUR pictures at the highest quality settings?
What photo capacity do you need? In other words: How many pictures do you want to be able to store before you have to take some off?
I would go for the memory card.

You didn't ask about the battery life of a Kodak C653 digital camera... but I will tell you anyway. :-)
You are going to want the rechargeable battery set for this. It takes 2 AA batteries, and will go through them pretty fast. Heck, it is a 6 mega-pixel camera! :-)
Without the rechargeable batteries, your new C653 will cost you as much in batteries as the camera originally cost, and sooner than you think.

I work as a service clerk in a drugstore, usually in 8-hour shifts. During this time I am either running around stocking things, helping people find things, or ringing people up, so I'm obviously on my feet the entire time. I am not allowed to wear sneakers or open-toed shoes, but by the end of the day my feet are killing me. I've tried wearing flats, vans, heels, kitten heels, and boots but they all were painful. Anyone have (a) any suggestions for close-toed, comfy shoes, or (b) any ideas to stop the pain? (link)

I didn't see this in the list of answers, and no list of comfortable shoes would be complete without mention of nursing shoes.
Find your local nursing supply store, or uniform shop that carries scrubs and such. Call around and find out who has the best selection to choose from IN STOCK where you can try them on.
Nurses very often pull 20-30 hour shifts, So it should be clear that without exceptionally comfortable shoes... all nurses would be dead from foot pain. ;-)
Trust me... anyone working in retail, or food service should find their way over to a pair of nursing shoes. You will NOT regret the time it takes you to find the right pair.

Whenever I plug speakers or headphones into my laptop, there is a loud crackling sound over the audio and every few seconds there is a beeping noise. I've tried adjusting the sound settings and they're definitely plugged into the right hole.
What can I do to fix this? (link)

Hello there,
The beeping noise would be something I would have to hear to interpret correctly, so I can't really help with that right now, but the static noise on plugging in may have a fairly easy solution.
As previously suggested, the headphone jack may have become torn loose of the circuit board inside your laptop. If this is the case, professional repairs, or the warranty center should be your destination.
If, however, and this is highly likely, the contacts of the headphone jack are dirty, the problem can be eliminated by using contact cleaner to clean both the plug on the headphones, and the jack on the laptop.
Now, MOST contact cleaners will eat certain types of plastic, so do NOT just start trying random solvents on your laptop... you will end up with liquid goo where hard plastic used to be, almost guaranteed.
So, what to do? Simple enough: Any electronics fix-it shop should have a cleaner which is safe for the plastics in your laptop. Most computer shops will NOT have what you need.
Let them do it for you. It should take only a couple minutes and cost very little.
If this solves your problems, and it likely will, remember to keep your fingers off the plug on your headphones. It is the oil from your fingers and the dust that sticks to it which are responsible for fouling your electronic item connections.
If the laptop is under warranty, I would talk to the company before I did anything else about this.

Hi there,
All of the instructions about letting it rise and kneading it will be wrong if you do that. Yeast is what makes the dough rise, so... no yeast = cracker dough.
If cracker pizza is your idea of a good pizza meal, then by all means go ahead, but if you want it to turn out like you are expecting, then the one ingredient you can NOT substitute for something else is the yeast.
Please note that yeast is not expensive, and pretty much every grocery place stocks it. It is worth your time to buy yeast for your pizza dough... trust me. :-)

Alright,so for the past 2,3 months i've been having these weird symptoms that occur almost everyday. i know you can't diagnose but i just need help from anyone to give me some clues of where its going,if you know anything at all.
I'll give you the symptoms and examples,it might be long.
- Unable to focus
*i never know whats going on around me,i
feel like really lazy and tired. i always get
9+ hours of sleep,its not the lazy tired
people think,its like exuastion all the time.
- Unable to think straight
*I'll mix 2 thoughts and think they're real,
imagine things and for about 30 seconds think
they actually happend.lose track while in the
middle of a story (all the time.)
- Lack of emotion/thoughts
*sometimes i'll just stare at something and
think of nothing,i get out of focus and dizzy
then after a little while i get back into
focus and notice i've been doing that for 3
minutes.
- Sometimes when i'm reading the words will shake on the page.
*only happend a couple of times. im just staring
at the page and then it like gets out of focus
and hurts kind of.
- Sometimes my hands get shakey
*didn't really happen that much but still,
its happen to my right hand it just spazzed
or something. weird.
- Unable to get back into focus for awhile
*like i said,everything blurs out and i
also forget what i was doing after it happens.
- Bad hearing?
*i ALWAYS have to ask people one,two,or three
times to repeat things. mostly because i
can't listen. i try but i just fade away..
i literally don't pay attension every time
i try too. its too hard to pay attension.
the weird part is nothings even on my mind
to distract me. i'm always zoned out?
- i really feel like my head near my eye
area is heavy or something
*like towards my forhead,it just feels wrong.
- always feel dizzy-like
*unable to focus and like i'm looking at things
as if im just watching a movie. i don't think
things are real sometimes either. i ALSO feel

saying it,i literally forget MOST* things i do.
for example,we learned a dance in cspa today.
and tonight i really can remember anything
about it other than it was really hard.
and i'm probably going to have to learn it all over again.

- FREQUENT ear popping in left ear.
*yeah,and i have to pull my ear a cirtain way
to clearly hear out of it.
Some other facts: My old sister has been having this too lately, and YES,i eat right, YES, i've been getting my vitamins (i take vitmin pills). YES,i've had enough sleep. thats why i'm taking this seriously. I'm 14,female. (My sister's 20)I DO NOT do drugs,sex,drink, or smoke. if that makes a difference.

Don't forget to have your thyroid checked.
The symptoms you describe are damaging your ability to function in everyday life, which means you need to seek a doctor's advice right away.
