My mom doesn't want me to get braces because she thinks my teeth are fine. But I think I do need them because there are like 3 teeth that aren't straight. Well we had a huge argument over this and now she's mad at me. But anyhow, I got my seperators today and they are really annoying. Do they hurt the day after? And when I get my braces will they hurt? Also, what should I do about my mom-situation?? She's not talking to me and she's very pissed that I am getting braces.
Well if the dentist says you need them then you need them! and thats basically what you need to tell your mom.

My mom smokes, and I get second hand smoke from her, obviously.. When you're around someone who is smoking pot.. If you get the second hand from that.. And then have to have a drug test for like sports at school or something.. Will it show up as you smoked pot, even though you didn't, and it was just second hand???
It is possible that it could. But since you yourself did not smoke it, then it will probably not show up as a high amount of pot so they might believe that it's second hand who knows though.

There is no reason that she can not be friends with you AND your sister. But talk to your sister about it. Maybe your sister will talk to her about it who knows. But really you do have to talk to her.

im petrified of dying,evry time i think about it i have butterflys in my stomach and i feel sick. i usally think about it wen im about to go to bed then i carnt sleep.how can i stop feeling so scared of dying?i dont wana see a therepyst.is this normal?

Normally the only time anyone is scared of dying is when they are afraid of going to hell. Now really you aren't old enough to have to worry about dying. But yes anyone of us could put our head on the pillow and never wake up. Once you are positive that you'll go to heaven you will feel better about it and you won't be scared of dying. And to go to heaven you have to go to church, worship and believe in God, and live through him. Just being a good person doesn't get you to heaven. You could be the nicest person in the world but if you don't believe in God you won't make it to heaven. I am not trying to preach to ya or anything I just think that if you read this it might help. It is something my pastor has said to us before in one of his sermons. Also it is perfectly normal. Lots of people are scared of dying.

I'm 13, female, about 5'4" and about 140 lbs. I've tried dieting, since i'm too young i can't use diet pills, and i've run out of solutions. I can't even get dressed without crying because i can't stand the way i look. i have absolutely no idea what to do. any suggestions are greatly appreciated. thank you guys so much
You really aren't overweight. I am 14 5'4" and I weigh a little bit over that. But, dieting helps some. Eat healthier and like people said to me when I asked use an elastic on your arm and when you want to eat something thats not healthy snap it.

Ok well I was the one who asked the question about my boyfriend got shot and is now in a coma and might die! Well he did die! I slit my wrist one night I cry my self to sleep every night And I hate my life I used to be a prep but now I have gone goth I guess skipping classes and crying! I went to his funerl and saw him in his casket I just broke down right then and there I fell down on the ground and cried I refused to get up for about an hour and I went bye him like you all said and spent his last hours alive with him but it wasnt good enough he still died. I left the funeral and just went to his house (his parents were at the funeral) and went in his room and cried I swear I smelled him and saw him for 2sec then I just cried! What will I do?
Death is hard to get over. And I am really deeply sorry about your loss. You have reason to be sad but let me let you in on something I have learned from experience, no matter how much crying you do it's not going to bring him back to you. That really doesn't sound like it will help but think about it this way, he IS watching down on you right now and always will be, no matter what happens in life. Do you really think that he wants to see you sad? But in time it will get better. Your hearts going to heal. It's going to be scarred like a really deep cut that healed over. Just think of the good memories. Crying helps you feel better a little bit but it's not going to bring him back. But he's in a better place now and that should make you feel a little better.

my friend is depressed. she always tells me her problems and itold her to get therapy bcuz it helps and ive been through it. but after i tell her this she always says "see thats why i cant count on you. you never help me with my problems" she always makes me feel so guilty. How can i help her?
You just need to be really sweet and I understand that you say the therapy and if she would yes it would help her but you need to just talk to her and help her understand that things aren't her fault and stuff like that.

I just got a new Gateway lap top that I'm on right now. I can't find the place where you plug in the microphone so you can talk on AIM and use the sound recorder. Can anyone please help me?
This really doesn't help much but if you look in the manual it will show a graph of the computer and lines pointing to what everything is try that and if that doesn't work try going to ♥ http://www.gateway.com ♥ and see if it shows it on there.
