Extremely depressed. I'm 13, female, about 5'4" and about 140 lbs. I've tried dieting, since i'm too young i can't use diet pills, and i've run out of solutions. I can't even get dressed without crying because i can't stand the way i look. i have absolutely no idea what to do. any suggestions are greatly appreciated. thank you guys so much

You can start low carbing. Lose 8-13 lbs in the first week or two and 2-4 lbs a week after that. its pretty fast results and you lose belly weight first and you dont even need to exercise (but its helpful but not required). For more info..just ask me! ]
DOn't cry about your weight!!! that should not be one of your priorities! I know that is easy for me to say becasue I am not over weight.. people aren't perfect.. and every1 has there problems.. while you may be over wight.. the prettiest girl in school could have aner problems with her parents.. or maybe the most popular guy in school has a small winkie.. LoL don't stress over this! if your over weight make the most out of life, my mom is over weight and she is the happiest woman I have ever seen. She always makes and effort to make people happy, and she doesn't let her phisical problems hold her down..
in other words if your personality is spectacular, the outside won't matter anymore.

ok well start playing sports and do exersises evryday thats what i did and i lost weight !! i was 155 @ age 12 and now i am 125!! beleive me it works!!

You really aren't overweight. I am 14 5'4" and I weigh a little bit over that. But, dieting helps some. Eat healthier and like people said to me when I asked use an elastic on your arm and when you want to eat something thats not healthy snap it.

For starters, do not try diet pills! EVER! They are super bad for you, and usually make you put on more weight AND can kill you , I read it in Seventeen.
140 really isn't fat for your height, and just because you are most likely doesn't mean that you are 140, it can "store" in different parts of your body [like your tummy], you might actually only look 120, which, is a healthy weight.
Try tennis out, it's really fun! Swimming also can help. Eating healthy also will help, try veggie sushi out- it's delish!

well first of all, im sorry, 2nd of all,try walking,jogging,running to get into shape, excersises, going to the guy, even talk to your parents about maybe buying you a tredmill to run,jog,walk on at home if your that concerned with it, try eating healthy! and most importaunt be confident. god made you the way he wanted you to look, so i promise..god will not let you down! he will never make a mountain you cannot climb! so goodluck, and i hope i helped! ]

okay this i can help you with. My mom is certified to be a trainer and has been in body building contest so i know what you are talking about. The best thing for you to do is eat many small portions a day. Then eat healthy snacks. Drink alot of water and the most important thing you have to excercise go to the gym work out... get an excercise plan that is good for you but at the same time pushes you to do better. if you really want to lose weight, run. i run 2 miles a day. trust me it works. but 5'4" and 140 lbs ain't fat. my friend is 5'1" and 140 lbs and i think she looks great.

Dieting really doesn't work because you will just gain the weight back that you've lost. If you want to feel better about yourself, then you need to start doing things that will make you lose weight and then you will know that you are losing weight. Just start exercising; ride a bike, run or jog on a treadmill, do cardio workouts and activities such as jump roping, kick boxing, running in place, and so on. Start making better decisions when eating things. Eat healthier and watch how much you eat. All of these things will eventually fall into place and once you know that you are looking better and losing weight, you will feel better about yourself, don't worry.
