i am female and 14. for scoliosis checks at school we have to be completely naked (except for underwear) for them to check. i am kinda scared tho cause i am the only one who actually has boobs, and a male teacher is checking me, who is kinda a pervert. what should i do?

honestly, that REALLY doesnt seem right. first off - you should ask for a female teacher, if you HAVE TO get this done. i know at my school you dont have to, though - i guess that this seems so wierd to me. also, i hate to burst your bubble - but lotsa girls have most likely started developing breats as well. so your not the only one. maybe talk wiht your mom about it and see if she will talk to the vice principal or principal about the situation. explain whazt you told me, and tell her your not comfortable. im sure she will do something for you =) good luck

ohkay, everyone is telling me that the world is going to end in 4 days (6-6-06) (the devil's number.) I AM REALLY SCARED OVER THIS. I CAN BARLEY SLEEP. im like pettrified. is what they're telling me true or is a myth? and do you believe it? and should i be scared?

hun, no need to worry. the world isnt going to end. im gettting surgery that day, so i hope nothing goes wrong! but no, i dont believe it. people just say that, but its a myth. listen to all the other people about the otehr dates and such, thats good stuff. so in short answer - i wouldnt be scared.

i think thongs are really cute but what is it for?
what is it for, to cover your tan line..? thats what someone told me.

thongs are just anotehr option of underwear. while some people like so called "whitey tightys". its more of a personal preference. some people think that a thong is like a full-time weggie. but i dont agree. you get very used to them, and it feels wierd not to wear them once you start. anyway to your question. its basically a skinny pair of underwear that rides on your buttcrack. most girls wear them when weaqring tight pants so you dont get underwear lines. i dont think of it as a way to "cover your tan line" but maybe.

Ok well I have a friend lets call her kim and she is f/15 and she is a freshman but she is going out with a senior that is 18 is this illegal? And if it helps I know that they have had sex and about everything in the book. But I just wanted to know if it was allowed or not she asked me and I had NO idea. Thanks ahead for your help! dating is not illegal, but being sexually active is. its fine dating and all, but sex should be out of the question, unless both boy and girls parents are fine with the intamacy.

hi okaii im 14 and i have had it for about a year and ahlaf or sumtin like that... and like i got it the last on may 15 and it ended the 21st... now its june 1st and i have it again??? its been 10 days is this normal??

when your first start and get to know the whole period thing, your period will be on an irreagular schedule for 3-4 years. so, yes it is completely normal and you shouldnt be worrying- unless you are sexually active or are taking birthcontrol. if you are really concerned about it, or it happens again- then go to a gyno to get checked out. but im sure its nothing.

Hi, I am beginning to get chubby. I eat sooooo much and try sooo hard not to, but i just cant stop.
Its making me depressed and i dont know how to stop. what do i do?

people tend to eat when their bored. put a picture of a really pretty girl with a nice body on your fridge dorr so everytime your see it - you wont want to eat anymore. also replace all those fatty foods with healthy ones. drink lots water when your hungry too. and make your portion sizes at dinner or something smaller. also start working out, not a lot - just a little to feel liek you have actually done something. good luck

hey guys, i have long blonde hair, which is a nice length for me. Its down to like the middle of my back, maybe a little shorter.. I like to keep it long cause im a basketball player and i wear it in a high poneytail when i play. I always get comments on it about how nice it is.. but heres the thing.. its really thick, and i straighten it everyday.. it has a natural curl to it but i hate my hair curley.. What advice can you give me that will look cute when going out or something instead of always having the same straight hair.

i can relate to you alot - i play basketball and my hair is blonde and naturally curly. only my hair is super thin but i starighten it almost everyday as well. anyway- for it being thick, you can always get it thinned out at the salon. also, you can wear it halfup/halfdown. or you can do braided pigtails, or you can pull your bangs back with it stright. you can wear it curly in a pont tail too. you can also straighten it and curly like 4 or 6 pieces with a curling iron on the top layer. also you can change your part alot, so it gives your a different look. you can also do it wavy, so its not curly- but you know. good luck

i just got my frist period this morning.
i dont wanna tell my mom! should i keep it low for a while? or no..?

GO FOR IT AND TELL HER ! deffinitally, what do you have to loose telling her? and wouldnt she be like devistated if she found out a year from now or so that you didnt tell her? i knwo my mom would be! your mom can help you and help you buy things and such. its not really THAT big of a deal, i mean every girl goes through it. just be casual and be like mom i started my period this morning. i doubt she will make a big deal ab out it. so i say go for it and tell her. :]

Ok, so my mom is way weird when it comes to me growing up! If u know what i mean. And i want a thong for my abercrombie pants so my underware line doesnt show. I kinda need one but my mom freaks if i ask. So anyway i need to find a way to get a thong w/o my mom knowing. Any ideas?

well, you can always try and convince her. like put on a pair of pants and be like omg mom what can i do about the line?! ah, and act kinda like stupid and overreact. oh just be going out to shopping and stuff and the packaged thongs sometimes look like regular underwear so pick it up and if she see it in the laundry or something be like well you bought it for me! or if you get it without permission - DO YOUR OWN LAUNDRY! if you get caught - i got your back on that too.. just say your friend gave you one of her new ones 'cause she thought it was ugly!haha, good luck hun. i know it sucks, but sooner or later she will be fine with it. my mom used to be like that, but now soemtimes she even borrows mine ! haha

heyy i was just wondering what is a good face wash. i only need one for cleaning my face at night . i do not have pimpels.

i think you should use Neutrogena Acne Wash. it comes in three different types- no matter what your skin type is, it should work for you. it comes in the original formula, foam cleanser, and cream cleanser. also, foaming cleansers are really good for non-acne skin. so you can always try those too!

frozen grapes and bananas. wow. you found my weakness. i love LOVE frozen grapes. tehy are cold and make your feel fuller than regular grapes. tehy are great when yuor on a diet. and a frozen banana is so yummie. especially when you dip it in chocolate and such,. OH YUMMIE

i'm fifteen yrs old. i'll be sixteen in 3 months. which isn't very far away. in november i met a guy and i really liked him. we talked for a whole day and then he asked me out. I said yes and i fell wayy hard. we had a relationship like no other. we deffently fell in love. he was 17. his birthday is in like two weeks. when we broke up i made an agreement with myself to get him back because i really did love him.. we were apart for a month and he dated people and so did i but we always found ourselves making out and holding hands every chance we got and talking on the phone everynight and still saying i love you. then he went out with my best friend and this completely killed me. one week later they broke up because she cheated on him and then he asked me back out. i didn't even hisitate to say yes. i had the love of my life back. this time we've been together for 4 months. it's been nothing short of amazing. we've seriously been through everything and we have an undying love for each other. last week my mom told me that she didn't want us dating any more being she thinks he's too old and she thinks he s a loser because he droped outa school. ive tried talking to her about this before and it worked. but she said this time her mind is final. this guy is really my everything but his friends don't like me. they think i cheat on him and stuff and are constinaly telling him he can do better. well we've been trying so hard to stay together and now he's ready to just give up. i think he got this idea from his friends but even tough we broke up last night.. nothing's changed.. i think he's coming over tomorrow to talk to me about it and i even wrote him a long email... if i dont get him back i swear i'll die. any advice for me...

first off, i think you should get his friends set straight on their story about you. your man should be standing up for you girl, or atleast you have to stand up for yourself. if its not true, dont let them think it! and as for your mom, she has a right to feel this way. i mean he did drop out and he is pretty old. as long as he has a job though, it should make the situation a little better. exaplin to your mom that your happy, and that your really wanna be with him. if you guys broke up last ngith, then i dont knwo what kinda advice you want me to give you abouty that..

okay.. I have this boyfriend, and I like him ALOT, one problem.. he is really popular.. and I'm not, I'm kinda like a dork. well hun, obviously he likes you because you guys are going out. i wouldnt be too concerned. and since he invites you to hang with his frineds, either he doesnt care what they think about you or that they dont even think that! nothing is wrong with always making more friends and if its the popular crowd, then so be it. i doubt he'd breazk up with you cuz your a dork. a lot of guys find being dorky completely hot. i woudlnt be scared or nervous or whatever - just be yourself. and be confident. if they dont like you for being yourself, then they deffinitally dont deserve to hang out with you. if you feel out of place, then just hang with the boyfriend. be by his side and talk and joke with him. you HAVE to be comfortable with yuor boyfriend atleast. be outgoing and crazy and fun, but still in your comfort zone. be a dork, they will love it. especially him. goodluck

i just turned 16!! and my parents wont let me date! my friends who are younger than me already had 2 or more bfs!! i think im the only one who never had a bf and never been kissed..EVER! i never tell them (mom) any of my guy problem or my crushes cuz i know they will give me a lecture...like finish school first then you can date or have a crush..blah blahh

well, at this age theres alot of dating drama between parents and teens. maybe you should have your date over so your parents can meet hima nd get to knwo him before you go somewhere with him. then they will be more comfortable with knowning who you are with and such. invite him over for dinner or something and watch tv. tell your parents that if you keep up in school, then you should have certian privledges - like dating. and now that you can drive, its even harder for them to control where you go. make a deal with them - say like if i get all b's or higher then let me date or soemthing liek that. then you are setting a goal for yourslef and your parents knwo that you have something to work for to get there and that they arent just giving you that oppertunity. also, you might wanna start becoming closer with your mom. i tell my mom everything and you wouldnt believe it, but she gives great advice! so you never knwo where that will end up. good luck!

so i have to pay for them if i invite them for dinner...then maybe i should do movies and mall..? so i dont have to pay for them? cuz im just using the money i get for babysitting not my parents money. thanks!!

if you go to a movie, then you may have to pay as well. and i know that babysitting doesnt give that much income.. you can always go to the mall and get yummie smoothies and just shop around. then go to a bakery and get yummie cookies and celebrate your birthday. you can always go to the movies once your there (most malls have movie theatres in them or near them) but you may have to pay for the movies and theres food. i think you should just do the mall if you dont wanna spend much, then you only spend on you. and they spend for them. go to a random store and try on whacky outsits and take pictures - thats always fun!
